The crew at Dewey Beach Parasail have flown passengers from age two all the way up to 92! Passengers take off and land directly from the back of the boat, so if you can sit down, you can parasail. Want to get wet? They can dip your toes in the water. Want to get really wet? Then they will dip your whole body. Want to stay dry? No problem – their captains have that much control and guarantee a great experience. Not only are the captains at Dewey Beach Parasail licensed, but they all have more than 10 years of experience operating parasail vessels. Dewey Beach Parasail is Delaware’s largest and most experienced parasail operator. They are fully

insured, operate only US Coast Guard-inspected vessels designed specifically for parasailing, and are the only parasail company in Delaware or Maryland certified by the Professional Association of Parasail Operators. Dewey Beach Parasail offers two rides. For $65 they’ll send you up 500 feet, and for just $10 more they will send you all the way up to 800 feet! All prices are per person, however most people fly with a friend or even triple! There are departures every hour on the hour, and the whole excursion takes an hour, including 12-15 minutes up in the air under the canopy. Dewey Beach Parasail offers a professional photo package and spectators are welcome for $15 if there is room on the boat. Nassau Valley Vineyard Beautiful scenery, a rustic appeal and Delaware’s best wines

WHERE IS IT? BETWEEN Route 1 South and Route 9 West, just six miles north of Rehoboth Beach. WHY SHOULD I GO? NASSAU Valley Vineyard is Delaware’s premier, award-winning winery. Founded in 1987 by Peggy Raley and her father Bob on a family farm just outside historic Lewes, Nassau Valley was the first commercial vineyard in the First State. Delaware’s laws prohibited the production and resale of alcohol, so the Raleys drafted legislation and lobbied to create Farm Winery legislation. The winery now thrives, having garnered more than 50 medals in international competition. NVV has received glowing reviews from Time and legendary British wine writer Oz Clarke. NVV has been featured in Southern Living, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, The

Philadelphia Inquirer and The New York Times as well as on the Food Network and CBS News. NVV use estate-grown grapes along with other high-quality fruit sourced from local and regional growers. Whether sweet or dry, white or red, they have a wine for every palette. Take a self-guided tour through galleries that chronicle the history of wine. The tour includes a look into the wine cellar during operations. Pack a picnic, stay awhile and enjoy the pastoral beauty of the property among picnic tables and leafy shade trees. ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW? CREATE memories for a lifetime; let NVV help plan your storybook wedding. They have served hundreds of weddings over the years with two full-service event centers. Their catering list of preferred vendors boasts 20 of the area’s best restaurants and caterers.
