Cape may stage
A professional Equity company with a fabulous, diverse range of drama, comedy and musical magic... in a beautifully-restored theatre! About The Company The fabulous 2010 season includes a world premiere with a celebrity cast; a Pulitzer Prize, Tony and Drama Desk award-winning play; a seven-time Tony-nominated musical about love; a brand new, animated retelling of a classic fable; and two comedic romps – one about a Hollywood actor taking on the role of a lifetime and another featuring a trio of versatile Shakespearean actors. With plans underway to open and close the season with two brand-new, premiere productions, Artistic Director Roy Steinberg says, “The 2010 season represents an opportunity to put Cape May Stage on the map. In 2009 the theatrical community started talking about us. Bringing world-class Broadway and TV/film performers like Lynn Cohen, Mary Testa and Tina Sloan to Cape May this summer had Cape May Stage’s reputation buzzing on the east and west coast!” 5/14 – 6/12 CLASS By Charles Evered Making its world premiere at Cape May Stage, Class tells the story of Elliot, a veteran acting teacher in New York who is visited in his studio by a mysterious young actress.
