CINDY CAFFREY STRATFORD, NJ

How long have you been coming to Cape May? I have been fortunate enough to have been coming to Cape May since 1999. Who are you normally with? I am normally with my husband and at least one of my two sons. It is where my friends gather and we all hang out. Favorite thing about Cape May? That’s easy — definitely the family atmosphere and the fact that I can usually park my car when I arrive and ride my bike everywhere I go. Least favorite thing? Probably, my least favorite thing is that the bike lanes in West Cape May, in particular, are not always cleared of sand and debris, which can make bike riding hazardous. Favorite restaurants? My current favorite restaurants are the Exit Zero Cookhouse and Oyster Bay. I love both of them. [Editor’s Note: We didn’t pressure her to say this.] Favorite places to stay? I am fortunate enough to currently own a place in West Cape May If you could change one thing about Cape May what would it be? I think I would have to say I would make it easier and safer to ride a bike in West Cape May. It is sometimes a challenge to not only ride but properly park your bike, and with limited parking, I think bikes are a necessity.

NAUTI WORD OF THE WEEK

brass. pound. er

Early 20th-century slang term for a vessel’s radio operator, so called because he repeatedly struck a brass key on his transmitter to broadcast in Morse code.

Mike DeMusz Painting Of The Week

BOOK OF THE WEEK We confer with Cape Atlantic Book Company to bring you a page turner... American Catch: The Fight for Our Local Seafood. Author: Paul Greenberg. A very readable account of the New York harbor oysters, Gulf shrimp, and the North-West’s sock-eye salmon. Some relevant facts… 91% of the seafood America eats is foreign, while 33% of what is caught by American fisheries is sold to foreign markets; the best fish from our best Alaskan fisheries is sent to Asia, while we import fish of little nutritional value farmed in Asia.

Our Staff Artist Mike DeMusz is creating a painting every week. Here he is at work on the latest. To see the completed work, check out the Exit Zero Facebook page. Better still, visit the Exit Zero Store at 109 Sunset Boulevard, across from the gas station. Even if this particular work is already sold, we have the whole Mike DeMusz inventory of prints here, along with other great Cape May artwork. You can call the store at 609-770-8479. We are open every single day from 10-5 (9-9 in the summer). Or buy online at ezstore.us.

Ramblings From The Editor

F

Ideas, idle gossip and occasionally important odds ’n’ ends... by Jack Wright

or those who hoped that the banishment of Ed Mahaney from the mayor’s office at City Hall would quickly usher Rob Sheehan back to his duties as Cape May’s Chief of Police, disappointment lies ahead for the near future. Any chance of it being a slamdunk were ended on December 20 by the city council’s cynical decision at its last meeting under Mayor Mahaney to give Sheehan’s replacement, Tony Marino, a four-year contract. In doing so, Mahaney, along with his longtime cohorts, City Manager Bruce MacLeod and City Attorney Tony Monzo (both of whom, fortunately for Cape May, followed Mahaney out the door) handed the new administration a pile of dog poop. In a world where logic and wisdom prevailed, the new administration, under mayor Chuck Lear, would have voted to give Sheehan his job back — a job he should never have lost. But logic and wisdom didn’t often get a seat at the table under the three Ms. So now the city has little option but to wait for the settlement of a lawsuit brought by Sheehan against the city. Depositions for that

require Sheehan to get his job back and Marino would either accept demotion or retire on a chief’s salary, for which he will qualify come August (when he will have been a year on the job). Given that Marino was set to retire from the force before being given the chance of becoming chief, it’s hard to see him turning down this scenario, in which he would receive an annual pension of around $88,000. Pretty sweet for a guy who’s under 50. Last week I mentioned the inaugural Paddy’s Day Plunge, which will be held on Saturday, March 18. I’m excited about this event, which would never have happened under Scrooge & Co (the previous administration). The plunge will raise money for one of my favorite nonprofits, Family Promise of Cape May County, which does a great job of helping local homeless people. At 9am, there’s a complimentary breakfast at Carney’s. At 11am, there’s a 5k run or one-mile walk, at 1pm the plunge begins, and at 2pm there’s an afterparty at Carney’s. Prices start at $15 and all proceeds go to Family Promise. Register online at carneysnj.com or call 484-390-2969.

³ lawsuit will most likely continue through May. So it’s unlikely this lawsuit will be settled until the latter part of this year. What are the possible outcomes? Well, if the court feels that Sheehan was justifiably removed from his post, he stays as captain and Marino remains as chief. Somehow, that outcome seems unlikely. The best alternative would be for Sheehan and the city to settle, without the suit going to trial and dragging this business out any longer. In that case, presumably the court would

Dish Of The Week There are few things more British than James Bond. And there are few things more British than curry for dinner (it might be an Indian dish, but it’s also the most popular foodin that country). Which is why this week’s dish is curry! And who serves curry in Cape May? The Exit Zero Cookhouse. Given that 007 has rich taste in food (just as he does in cars, liquor, gadgets, and women), we are going to select the Rolls-Royce of curries, the Thai Lobster. You’ll enjoy wild-caught Canadian lobster bathed in a sophisticated combination of Indian flavors. If Daniel Craig were vacationing in Cape May this summer, we reckon this is the dish he’d choose. Open Thursday thru Saturday.

BEER OF THE WEEK Avalon Coffee Stout Style: Stout ABV: 5.0% Cape May Brewing Co. CMBC take their dark, slightly sweet and full-bodied stout and condition it on locally roasted Avalon coffee. Carries a complex grain bill of pilsner, carafa, caramunich, roasted barley and oats.

Open for DINNER Thursday through Monday

WINE OF THE WEEK Matthew Fritz Sauvignon Blanc California 2014 $12.99 from Sunset Liquors 106 Sunset Boulevard Aromas are dominated by melon and pink grapefruit while richly textured palate shows off elements of spicy pear, with a grassy, white pepper finish. Great with shellfish, chicken, prosciutto and salads.

Cocktail Of The Week He’s regarded as a man who is the epitome of class, who makes all the right decisions, all the right moves, wears all the right clothes, drives all the right cars. So why does 007 buck convention by drinking his vodka martini shaken, not stirred? Any mixologist worth their salt-rimmed glass will tell you that shaking the martini waters down the alcohol. So what gives, James? One theory is that he was trying to lower the potency of his beverage, giving the appearance of heavy drinking, while lulling his deadly rivals into a false sense of security. We’re not sure about that — but we ARE sure you can get a vodka martini done right at the Lobster House, one of Cape May’s most authentic, old school bars.

The Old Fogey

Ah, those good old Cape May days... by Jackson D’Catur

D

id you know that every single citizen (and two-score dogs) in Cape May is licensed to kill? That honor was bestowed because we are the original inspiration and setting for James Bond, following a drunken night in the bar of The Admiral with then up-andcoming writer Ian Fleming. He was initially intending to make 007 a part-time restaurateur with a passion for dominoes, but after a few short hours listening to me and Ernie Hemingway relate tales of derring-do, he saw the error of his ways. There was some spirited debate, too, about the code name to be used. Fleming was thinking Bond’s confidential moniker would be the staggeringly stupid SecretAgent, whereas I was a fan of D’Catur. In the end it was a squiffy Hemingway who, struck by a sudden idea and too drunk to say to clearly, tried to get our attention by slurring, “Oh! Oh!” seven times… and the rest was history. Actually, now I think about it, we were not awarded the license to kill, as that was thought to be prone to misuse, but the much

more useful, though admittedly less sexy sounding, “license to sell overpriced goods and services to unsuspecting visitors”. We have also received visits from every Bond actor, as a rite of passage, with the exception of that Roger Moore chap, who was wrong for the part, and whom we sent to Wildwood instead. I recall that dreadful Scotch one, a boor with an eye for the ladies, who came here and loudly declared, “I don’t shee what all the fush ish! This plasche ish a shi….” Well anyway, no need to go there. We quickly topped up his malt and when he

finally passed out, three days and nights of drinking later, mailed him back to England in a crate. I am constantly turning down requests to have a cameo in one of the movies: I expressed willingness to play a bald villain with a menacing Yorkshire Terrier, a Smersh lackey in coveralls, or a Bond Girl in hot pants, but all they offer is that strange Q inventor, and where’s the fun in that? But don’t give up hope: there is a script in the works for a movie set IN our fair city, where the bad guys have bred a whole town of crazed mutants and plan to let them loose on an unsuspecting Cape May unless we pay them $100. Now I say it out loud, the original script was written in 1945 and might need a little updating. Obviously we need to factor in inflation, though Wildwood has changed relatively little. I am too modest to play Bond, but will be taking the role of a spunky lady pilot, codenamed Female Genitalia, and the movie’s working title is Live and Let Shoebie. Who will play Bond? We audition at the offices of this periodical next Monday! Come in costume!

his is the 007 issue. Why, you might ask? Well it’s James Bond actor Daniel Craig’s birthday March 2, and we have no problem coming up with tenuous links to create fun issues. For this week’s interview we were looking for a local company that sells the kind of cool gear that might attract the attention of the world’s most famous spy. And we figured that a place that caters to scuba divers, gun owners and fishermen was the perfect fit for the 007 issue. Which is why we chatted to Sean and Pete Barto, who run the everyday operations at Sea Gear, the iconic outdoors store created by their father Chuck, who is still very much involved. What’s the coolest gadget at Sea Gear? Something that even James Bond could use. SEAN: The inReach Explorer from Garmin. He would love to use the advanced satellite communication when he is outside of the standard phone network. He would be impressed by the fact that it is like a satphone, but you use it to text. That way when one of the Bond girls is a stage three clinger, he won’t get stuck on the phone and miss his chance to save the world. So you guys now have THREE locations, with the opening of the Ships Store at Cape May Marina last year. Talk us through the evolution. SEAN: Sea Gear Marine Supply is our original location. It was conceived with the idea of supplying commercial fisherman with everything they need to make a living. It has evolved into an allaround waterman’s supply house with a kick-ass clothing store. Page 40 original location to bring in new brands and more selections of clothing, so we added a clothing section at Outfitters to give it its own identity. We then added our new armory to defend everyone from the upcoming zombie apocalypse. Of course. And Sea Gear Ships’ Store? That was a collaboration between us and our friends at Cape May Marina. It is our take on a general store for a marina. You can find all the last-minute things you might have forgot on the way to the dock. You can also find a nice cold beer at the Paddle Club. Tell us about the early days of SeaGear. It was founded by your father Chuck. When and how did that come about? SEAN: Chuck was brought into this industry by my grandfather, Gus Genovese, who was a lifelong commercial fisherman. Gus started a supply company with some other fisherman and brought Chuck in to help run the store while they were out fishing. After Gus passed away, Chuck went out on his own and started Sea Gear. What did Chuck do before that? PETE: Chuck started out working under Q but it didn’t last long, as he thought he could drive better than James Bond. After his driving skills led to several blown transmissions Chuck was let go — then he found the right

“Recently, dad caught his first white marlin and reignited his enthusiasm for fish. He does have mad skills but you won’t see him rigging bait any more — he says that’s why he had us. ” — PETE BARTO, SEA GEAR gear and started Sea Gear. [Editor’s Note: Q is the tech mastermind behind 007.] How long has the family been associated with Cape May? SEAN: Our mother’s family moved here permanently in 1963 from Gloucester, Massachusetts. Gus Genovese, our patriarch, was a commercial fisherman his whole life and had been packing fish in Cape May for years before that. Our dad’s family had been coming to Cape May for a couple generations from Pennsylvania. Mom and dad met on a blind date one day on the the Lobster House Schooner. So who’s the best, most eager fisherman between the Barto boys? PETE: Wow, what a tough question! I would have to say that I have caught more species, but Sean is

the most eager as he chases his ever-elusive striped bass almost every evening in the fall. And what about Chuck? Does he still have mad skills? PETE: Recently, dad caught his first white marlin and reignited his enthusiasm for fish. He does have mad skills but you won’t see him rigging bait any more — he says that’s why he had us. How often do any of you get out fishing or hunting in general? PETE: Not enough, but I do cherish my days offshore fishing with no cell service. Wait, you don’t take the inReach Explorer with you? PETE: That’ll allow MI6 or the others to contact me and that’s why I head offshore, to go off the grid for a little. When I’m out there and don’t want to communicate via text but want to stay safe, I bring along my ACR EPIRB, which will send a satellite signal to the Coast Guard or nearby boats if we need to be rescued. We don’t go anywhere without an EPIRB — you never know what will happen out there. There are many successful rescue stories associated with EPIRBs, which is why we sell a ton of them to recreational boaters. It’s a boaters preference on which one they want to go with — personal, manual or automatic. What about you, Sean. Do you get out there much? It’s one of those things where

you work so much to help everyone else enjoy fishing and hunting that when you finally get a day to go, the weather or the couch usually works against you. Tell us about the process involved in becoming a firearms dealer? PETE: It would probably be easier to be cleared for MI6. There were several government agencies and regulations to be approved by. It was a long, tedious adventure, but worth the wait. Was that a big game changer for the business? PETE: Yes, it’s pretty cool that we now have the opportunity to cater to our customers year round. We follow the seasons with the different hobbies — fishing and boating during the summer season and hunting in the offseason. And zombie hunting, as you mentioned earlier? Yup, there’s the year-round business of supplying the preppers with survival weapons for their arsenals in case the apocalypse hits the cape. How would you say your customers are divided between locals and visitors? PETE: We get a lot of local summer people who spend lots of time at marinas and on their boats. We do get a good amount of new customers during the peak season who were referred by locals, but usually once people find our stores they come back time and time again. What a lot of people don’t realize is that we don’t just cater to fisherman — we cater to those who have a love for the ocean and being on the water. It’s a lifestyle here and we are always carrying all the new top brands that help people enjoy being on the water. What’s the furthest people come to shop at Sea Gear? SEAN: We have customers who come here all the way from Alaska. Of course, not just to see us, but when they are on this coast they usually stop by for what they need. Let’s say some of our readers have little to zero experience in fishing and hunting but want to get into it. What advice would you give them, since coming into an expert place like Sea Gear might potentially be a little intimidating? PETE: I would stop in Sea Gear Outfitters and ask one of our friendly staff, though they would probably tell you to book a trip on one of the local charter or party boats. There you can get a nice fishing trip while learning tips from the crew while staying on a budget. And it will allow you to enjoy being out on the water and seeing Cape May from the ocean. Then there’s always the local tackle shops that are full of knowledge and have everything you need to catch dinner. You’ve got the cutest one-eyed dog on the island (okay, apart from the EZ mutt, April). What happened to Opie? SEAN: He was on a secret mission at a local horse stable. He was captured by the evil horse villain Goldtrigger and was just about to be killed by Goldtrigger’s death ray gun when he sacrificed his eye to direct the beam back to destroy the death ray, and make his escape and save the day. You guys are getting a little carried away by the Bond theme, but that’s okay. Does Opie hunt? SEAN: Only for sexy Bond Girl dogs. Okay... so what are your favorite things about Cape May in the summer? SEAN: Long days, warm water, Harry’s, Beach Shack, Schooner. Who am I kidding — everything about summer here is great. Even when the traffic gets bad and there are no parking spots. That just means this place is so cool that everyone wants to enjoy it. And Cape May in the offseason? PETE: It’s a little slice of heaven — quiet and peaceful. The offseason brings out our next favorite season, hunting, which means we’re out in the fields shooting skeet. For the most part I find that we really have a 10-month season, starting on Valentine’s Day and going until Christmas. There might be slower times, but Cape May has done a great job of making it more than just a beach resort. interview by jack wright

Catherine Dugan’s guide to getting out there... this week, grab a cold one, for a good cause!

t’s nice to do a good deed. It’s even nicer when the good deed is as easy as sipping a crisp, cold beverage in a frosty mug. In Cape May, charity begins with beer. Charitable brewers follow a long tradition linking beer with philanthropy. A millennium ago, European monks brewed beer to serve to travelers who came to their monasteries seeking a safe rest stop. The fees these travelers paid supported the community. Water was a risky beverage, so they washed the road dust from their parched throats with beer. As paying guests, travelers drank beer with 5% alcohol, from the monastery’s first run. The monks themselves usually stuck to 3% beer — from the second run — for their everyday beverage. They would then use the third run on the same mash to brew weak beer to donate to the poor. Over time, savvy monks realized that travelers favored the monasteries with flavorful, strong beer. Then, as now, travelers shared reviews, and the word-of-mouth version of Yelp brought more travelers, and more resources,

to monasteries with better beer. Trappist monks gained a reputation for outstanding brews, along with other quality fermented products. Eventually, as inns and taverns competed with monasteries for customers, counterfeiters tried to capitalize on the Trappist brand. The monks created a set of standards to ensure that Trappist beer — or wine, cheese or bread — is produced by actual monks and that profits are used for charity. There are two local breweries in Cape May. As far as we can tell, the brewers are not monks, but they do have a reputation for

generosity. Cold Spring Brewery, located at Historic Cold Spring Village, hosts Thankful Thursdays from 4-8pm. through March. Proceeds will be donated to a different local charity each week. The brewery, located at 733 Seashore Road, just outside the living history village, is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 8pm. For additional information, call 609-898-2300, extension 10 or email to 4info@hcsv.org. Cape May Brewing Company, at Cape May Airport, also supports a number of local causes. Check out their website, capemaybrewery.com, for information. The website also shows the schedule of free guided tours and $10 tour-and-flight packages, and there is usually a fancy soda on tap for teetotalers. Kids are welcome to tour but not sample, of course, and you may bring your own food if you’d like a snack. No dogs. Or try Fins for Social Sundays. Each Sunday from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Fins will donate a portion of their proceeds to a local charity. Support a Cape May cause — it’s as easy as raising a glass.

The Movie Column

T

By Tom Sims of Cape May Film Society

hank you to everyone who came out to the Cape May Film Festival Oscar party on Sunday — what an amazing event! Cold Spring Brewery was an outstanding venue, Will Knapp was on his game for trivia — and what spectacular food! Special shout out to Veronica and Jerry, who get our deep appreciation award for their culinary creations. Our new president and her husband set the stage and raised the bar for future parties. The gift baskets were stunning, and the favors beautifully crafted. If you missed the event this year, you must join us next year. Up until now, my column has featured a review of each film nominated for Best Picture except one, Hacksaw Ridge. I saw this film at the eleventh hour, which means I was still watching it while celebrities were walking down the red carpet last Sunday. There were parts that were difficult to watch, for sure, but as the end credits rolled I had a new favorite for the top Oscar. Hacksaw Ridge tells the story of Desmond Doss (played by Andrew Garfield), who

The inspirational Hacksaw Ridge enlisted in the army to fight in World War II despite being a conscientious objector. He suffered ridicule and outright hostility from his commanding officers and fellow soldiers for taking his stand. The battle scenes were gruesome, as director Mel Gibson pulled no punches in demonstrating the horrors of war. Doss embodied the soldier’s spirit under a medic’s marching orders. He proved that one can be passive by conviction yet brave beyond comprehension. His devotion to god, country,

and his fellow soldier was nothing short of inspirational. This film deserved the highest recognition from the Academy if not for its superior storytelling than simply to honor a great man and his great generation of sacrifice. It did receive two awards for editing and sound. My previous favorites for Best Picture were Hell or High Water (which received four nominations, no awards) and La La Land (14 nominations, five awards). I’ve seen both of those films several times. Each of the films nominated this year was remarkable in its own way. In recent years, seems I question why so many films need to be nominated for Best Picture — this year, no question. Lucky us. So it was another “something for everyone” year at the Oscars (for the most part). The debacle with Warren Beatty reading the wrong Best Picture recipient aside, the real winner was the rich diversity of films and filmmakers and actors. This is especially true of Best Picture, Moonlight, and even Best Animated Film, Zootopia (the latter was my favorite). When the award goes to openness, understanding and acceptance, we all win.

The Answer Lady

T

he Answer Lady invites inquiries from gentle readers on all manner of relationship quandaries, matters of the heart and ethics. If you’d like to send a query, write to info@exitzero. us. Or, simply sit back, enjoy a cup of coffee and contemplate the wisdom herein. Dear Answer Lady My mother is angry with me for not sending her flowers for Valentine’s. I sent her a card though I was out of town, but my attention was on my new girlfriend. It was our first Valentine’s and weren’t going to be together so I sent HER flowers and I know my mother got wind of it. I feel guilty but I don’t think I should. When can I safely stop sending my mother flowers? I’m 27. — Thorny Rose Dear Thorny When can you safely stop sending your mother flowers? Never. Just because you have a new girlfriend, don’t dismiss your mother without so much as a by-your-leave. Your thoughtfulness has set a precedent which you are obligated to follow through with unless you have a good excuse. Pick up the phone.

Wise answers to perplexing questions

Call Kate’s Flowers or Cape Winds Florist and send that woman some flowers with a card that says, “Every day is Valentine’s Day when you have a great mother like you.” And introduce her to your new girlfriend so you don’t create an atmosphere of animosity. Dear Answer Lady My husband and I are Hispanic and decided to send our first-grade daughter to a Christian school, at some expense. We both work two jobs to pay for the tuition, thinking our daughter would be in a more Christian

environment. We were so disappointed when our daughter met with unkind remarks, especially telling her she will be deported. Which is absolutely not true. It was really only two students and we do not want any trouble but it is so hurtful to see our daughter experience this. Should we ignore it and hope that the children can work it out? — Distraught Dear Distraught Try to remember that hate usually starts at home, but children are still open to an attitude adjustment, especially at that early age. First, you and your husband must speak to the teacher and principal and make them aware of the situation. They are in the best position to know how to educate and deal with such problems. Secondly, the Answer Lady believes in the power of sweets. Go to the Original Fudge Kitchen and buy an assortment of candies to bring to class, with the teacher’s permission, and share with the students. Those two actions plus the kindness and dignity your daughter shows to those who are not as enlightened will work wonders in dispelling those ridiculous stereotypes.

Bird Droppings

Dispatches from the nation’s birdwatching capital… by Seymore Thanu

hat goes down must come up. This inverted truism applies to birds and hopefully economies too. Everyone knows that Cape May hosts one of the planet’s greatest autumn hawk migrations with approximately 50,000 birds tallied annually. It is a spectacle that draws thousands of visitors August through November and earned Cape Mat the title Raptor Capital of North America. But what about spring? Reason dictates that the Cape should not enjoy a spring rebound, that the bay should block northbound raptors just as it concentrates them in fall. The reality is quite different. On February 19, under clear skies and north northwest winds, there were over a dozen Red-tailed Hawks over Cape May Point. This is far more Red-taileds that are wintering locally. Flying west off the South Cape May Meadows just as they do in fall, the birds were clearly migrating. Bolstering this supposition is the understanding that late February and early March is the peak

migration period for this burley buteo. How did they get here? Don’t be obtuse. They flew. And while the volume of hawks passing through Cape May in spring is only a fraction of those tallied in the fall, the fact remains that given northerly winds and sunny skies, Cape May will concentrate soaring raptors any month of the year, particularly during peak periods. This means Cooper’s Hawks, Osprey and Red-shouldered Hawks in March, harriers, kestrels and Sharp-

shinned Hawks in April, Mississippi Kites and Broad-winged Hawks in May. Swallow-tailed Kite? You should be so lucky but these southern beauties have occurred between March and June and are now accounted an annual visitor. So if you love raptors and simply cannot wait until August, watch the weather channel, grab your binoculars and head for the Hawk Watch Platform when winds turn NW to northerly. Flights are also likely on warm southerly or westerly winds but birds don’t linger, they go with the flow and head north. Another fine vantage point is Stevens Street in West Cape May. Many birds, drifting south on northerly winds choose not to be ferried all the way to the Point so cut the corner on the peninsula, passing over the Rea’s Farm. Spring hawk watching in Cape May. Be one of the first. You can save yourself a drive to Sandy Hook, the state’s spring migration hotspot, and be an ornithological pathfinder.

GUS is an eight-month-old rat terrier mix who is hoping to go to a nice home so he doesn’t have to grow up in a shelter! Gus loves to play with toys and run around the yard with his friends. He is still learning some basic puppy manners, but Gus is an excellent student! Stop by the shelter today and give this young pup a loving home!

ZEKE is a young shiba inu mix who lived with another dog in his previous home, so no need to worry about owning another pooch. Zeke is also crate trained, which makes transitioning into a new home much smoother. He already knows how to sit when asked but forewarning that he will expect a treat afterwards! Adopt Zeke today!

KYLO-REN is a senior Lab mix with a lot of luster left in his life! His favorite thing to do at the shelter is play fetch in the yard with his beloved tennis ball. He walks very nicely on a leash and does know sit and paw. Kylo-Ren is house broken and politely whines to let you know he has to go outside. Come in to the shelter today and meet this sweetheart!

My Buyer Clients Said: “Heijung was able to quickly assess our housing needs and only showed us homes that fit that need. When we finally settled on a different home, Heijung was instrumental in satisfying demands from the insurance and mortgage companies on our behalf due the great distance between our primary home and secondary home in West Cape May. She clearly went the extra mile for us for which we are truly grateful. Without her help, satisfying closing requirements would have been extremely difficult for us. Heijung is a lovely, caring woman that anyone would be proud to call a friend.” Jackie M.
