ELTC’s New Show Hits The Stage Written by Joseph Kesselring, the 1941 Broadway comedy hit, “Arsenic and Old Lace” is family entertainment at its looniest. The story depicts Mortimer Brewster, played by actor Scott Harrison, spending a memorable 24 hours with his kooky aunts, crazy brothers, new fiancee and a surprising number of dead bodies for a peaceful Brooklyn home. It’s directed by East Lynne Theater Company’s Artistic Director, Gayle Stahlhuth, and runs Wednesday-Saturday until September 1 at First Presbyterian Church on Hughes Street.
