He showed up with termites in his smile and all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile! But even the Grinch was no match for all the joy of the Emlen Physick Estate’s annual tree-lighting ceremony, held last Saturday. The property was open for free, self-guided tours, and visitors brought non-perishable food items for the Cape May Community Food Bank before boarding trolley rides with Saint Nick. In fact, there was so much Christmas cheer to go ’round that by the end of the night, even the Grinch’s heart had grown three sizes. More photos inside!
