On January 26, more than 400 gathered for the 15th annual Exit Zero Burns Supper at Convention Hall. The raucous celebration of Scottish poet Robert Burns featured live music, a Scottish accent competition, and lots of laughter. While only 17 percent of attendees ordered the haggis, the Washington Inn catered a lovely meal for everyone that included shepherd’s pie. The best part? Proceeds benefited wildfire survivors in California, a wonderful Mexican orphanage in Puerto Vallarta and the local Family Promise organization. As they say in the Highlands: Pure barry! (Fantastic.) Top photo: Allison Morgan, Jim Barnes, Shawny Butler and family. Left: Nae Breeks pipe band and event host Jack Wright.

SOME INTERESTING CAPE MAY TRIVIA AND FUN FACTS
Weird Sea Creature
Did You Know?
What We’re Reading
How’d the Dumbo Octopus get its name? Those ear-shaped fins are a dead giveaway. This cutie, who’s found in every ocean, lives between three and five years and is hunted by sharks and killer whales. The species reaches depths of up to 12,000 feet and uses its eights arms, equipped with harpoonlike barbs, for holding onto its dinner — small crustaceans and worms. Oh, and the males also deliver sperm into the females via those arms.
As legend has it, Captain William Kidd may have buried treasure on Cape Island. In the late 1690s, the pirate discovered he was wanted by the British government for looting and pillaging, and he set off for Boston to clear his name. Along the way, he may have stopped off near Lake Lily in Cape May Point, a popular spot for sailors looking to replenish fresh water supplies. In the end, he made it only as far as Long Island, where he was arrested. He claimed to have hidden a large treasure along his journey, but only a fraction of it was ever discovered. Happy hunting!
The Lies We Told by Camilla Way When Luke, a charming, 20-something from a seemingly perfect family, goes missing, his distraught girlfriend begins to investigate. This twisty psychological thriller is the story of her search but, more than that, it’s a novel about secrets, trust and loyalty gone awry.

Where We’re Eating
Here’s what the EZ team had for dinner this week
E
very week, the Exit Zero crew goes for lunch (or dinner or, maybe even on occasion, breakfast) at one of Cape May’s excellent dining establishments. Then we give you the skinny on what we ate, what we talked about (or some of what we talked about) and who spat their drink from laughing too hard, who served us and, you know, the general vibe. The place: Fins Bar and Grille. The server: The last time we ate at Fins for this column we were served by Simba, who was, naturally, born around the same time The Lion King came out. We left in a very hakuna-matata sort of mood (could have been the beers). This time, we sat at the bar where the lovely Les DeRose took care of us. She also plays guitar here and elsewhere on the Cape, and she sings original songs as well as some classic tunes. Delightful server, talented lady. The fish: There is so much that stands out about this place, like the wave-patterned walls, LED-lit glass bar and cozy fireplace. But it might be the fish tanks that are the most memorable piece of decor. Diane felt a little trolled by one fish with a protruding forehead, as she woke up with an unfortunate and egregious pimple between her eyebrows on this day. Send good vibes. The drinks: Manhattans and vodka-cranberries, mostly. Yeah, we know, that last one is soooo 80s. But — trivia! — the New Jersey Pinelands are one of the few places in America where cranberries can grow, so really we’re just showcasing our Jersey pride, you haters! Earlier in the week, the EZ crew also stopped by for a dinner of wings, seafood pot pie and spinach salad. Yes, we know, we’re good at comfort food, thankyouverymuch. The coolest thing: In the restaurant hung one of those giant novelty checks showcasing the fact that Fins has now donated $100,000 to local charities — really! The money’s been raised via Fins’ Sunday Social program, now in its fourth year. Once a week, between 10:30am and 2:30pm, the restaurant donates half its brunch earnings to an area nonprofit. Recently, Les played at the Sunday Social benefiting the Coast Guard, which has a training base located on Cape May’s harbor (and she donated all her tips, too). Congrats to all involved! The takeaway: Good food, good drinks, good music, good philanthropy — good reasons to swim on over, zits bedamned!

Ramblings From The Editor
I
Ideas, idle gossip and occasionally important odds ’n’ ends... by Jack Wright
t’s been a few weeks, but I’m still buzzing from the Exit Zero Burns Supper. Every year, we hear from people that this one was the best ever. Ever! Well, no question, the event we had on January 26 in Convention Hall WAS the best ever. If you were one of the 400 lucky people in there, I’m sure you’ll agree. If you’re worried you are missing out on something, you’re right! Because we could have sold more than 500 tickets, we are expanding the event next year. We obviously haven’t worked out the details yet (give us a chance!), but there will be a Burns Festival, comprising events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This past event raised $12,000 for worthy causes, I’m very happy to say. Thanks to our new sponsor, the Arran Distillery (who produce the Robert Burns single malt), we were able to give $5,000 to help victims of the California wildfires (both human AND animal victims). Thanks to the Washington Inn, $4,000 was donated
to give something either as a one-off or a monthly donation (every dollar really does help), that would be amazing. Speaking of giving to worthy causes, I want to give a HUGE shout-out to the good people at Fins, the Cape May restaurant that has raised $100,000 for local non-profits since beginning their Sunday Social event four years ago. Every Sunday in the winter, a local non-profit is featured and all the proceeds from food and drinks that Sunday afternoon is donated. It’s an amazing achievement. Staying on the subject of Fins, I want to express condolences to owner Jeff Gernitis whose wife Maria passed away last week. I’ve been writing about WAY too many people leaving us, and Maria is only the latest. Last month, we also lost former Cape May mayor Mickey Blomkvest — following from the losses of other mayors Jerry Inderwies and Jerry Gaffney — and another local legend Wayne Wetherill. It’s been a rough 12 months...
³
to Family Promise of Cape May County, a wonderful group that offers real help and hope to families who desperately need it. And we were also able to give $3,000 to an amazing Mexican orphanage my wife and I visited while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta in January. If you’d been there the day we visited, I’m certain you would have been as moved as we were. A few people at the Burns Supper asked for more information — visit the Corazón de Niña website at fundacioncorazon.mx. If you can afford

Bartender Of The Week
THE WINE BAR @ THE WASHINGTON INN
We’re open February 14 - 17 Reopening for the season on Friday, April 5
This week, Matt Nowakowski from 5 West Pub is up. How long have you been bartending? Five years. Favorite drink to serve? A Basil Hayden Manhattan because it’s my favorite drink and I want the customer to enjoy it as much as I do. What’s your bartending pet peeve? The wave! Biggest tip? $100. If you weren’t a bartender, what would you want to be? A food critic.
Chef’s Signature Dish Place: Ugly Mug Chef: Gary Romberger Signature dish: It’s a toss-up. First, there’s the crab cake. “We use little to no filler — only enough to hold it together,” Gary says. But he’s also known for his burger — a 10-ounce beauty made with a special blend of ground chuck, brisket and short rib. “We patty them fresh every day — never frozen.”
Wine Of The Week Sunset Liquors 2016 Francois Boyer Red $16.99 From an organic and vegan estate this wine is intense purple in colour with a pleasant nose of blackcurrant, blackberry and liquorice. On the palate the wine has soft tannins with aromas of red fruits, liquorice, dried violets and spice.

The Discount Deck Ambush
Every week we walk the streets of Cape May, handing out goodies! We like to wander the streets of Cool (or Cold) Cape May, giving stuff away to locals and visitors. This year we are giving away a discount to enjoy at one of the top restaurants, stores, salons or activities, courtesy of the fabulous Exit Zero Discount Deck! If you don’t know what this is, you oughta! We also call it Vacation in a Box because it contains 50 great discounts to one of your favorite Cape May places — from $3 off fudge to $15 off dinner. It’s the real deal, and it only costs $20 for the entire pack. This week we bumped into Linda Gruchowski and Sandra Boyer from Cape May, who were out shopping for shoes at Casale’s. We asked them to pick a card from the deck for them to enjoy. They picked out a $10 discount for Exit Zero Filling Station (really!). And who would they like to share this discount with? Matthew McConaughey! Nice one, ladies. Serving Valentine Specials

Terry O’Brien’s legendary column... social satire, shameless plugs — and general self-indulgence
am coming to you live(ish) again this week from the gas station attendant booth at Exit Zero Filling Station, where the lukewarm air from my heater and the aroma of fresh diesel bring visions of summer. And unicorns. And leprechauns. And it’s possible I’ve inhaled too many diesel fumes. EZFS is currently closed ’til the end of the month for renovations. Why would the brand new Exit Zero Filling Station that only opened last August need renovations, you might ask? Shut up and I’ll tell you, I might answer. Actually, I can’t answer, lest I be drawn and quartered in the Scottish tradition. What I can tell you is this... they’re (we’re?) building a bar in the gift shop. What kind of bar, you might ask? A wooden one, dummy, I might answer. Also, a liquor license was recently procured in West Cape May. But that’s it! That’s all I can tell you. And, honestly, if you can’t figure it out from there, you have bigger problems than I can help you with. Maybe if you ply me with alcohol. (I’ve
said too much…) BEATLES NIGHT ALERT!!! As many of you know, my killer Beatles tribute band, Love Me Dudes, plays every MLK & President’s Day Sunday in what has become something of an off-season tradition around these parts. We spent our formative years filling the Boiler Room at Congress Hall, and moved over to Cabanas two years ago, where the crowds got even bigger. This year we’ve had to make some adjustments. First, I’d like to thank everyone who attended the Seventh Annual Beatles Night,
Cape May (Part 1) on January 20, with special thanks to Carney’s for opening up and hosting us, as Cabanas is undergoing a semi-major facelift of its own. It’s always fun to play a new room, and this was no exception. We were in the Other Room since the Main Room was closed for (surprise!) renovations. But we sound good in any room! We’re also very humble. Faithful stalker Kath Scullion was there with her Lost Boys (Uncle Bob, Cousin Ray, Dean Bloemer). I often envision them traveling to and fro on a pirate ship, pillaging and plundering their way from Carney’s to Cabanas to Beach Shack. Yahr! Longtime friends Chris and Kathy Hein popped in for a set. They were stalwart fans of Bill Caterini and I when we played Carney’s on a semi-regular basis. Bill and I actually reunited for a weekend at Anglesea Pub. It was like getting really drunk and falling off a bike. Laura and David Lastnameunknown (and I’m not even sure I got their first names right) twisted and shouted the night away. They’ve been regular customers at EZFS

since we opened, are nice people (even if he’s a bit of a hippie) and consistently appropriate tippers (which is good, because Laura always gets hot tea, which takes, like, six components and eats up my whole serving tray). And, of course, Randy and Wendy Redelico (DING!). A very sincere [EXPLETIVE DELETED] to the media, specifically every meteorologist, specifically on every channel, specifically for leading every newscast with WORST STORM IN 100 YEARS TO DESTROY NEW JERSEY. I look forward to their follow-up, concern-trolling reports on “Why Winter Tourism is Down in South Jersey. Film at 11.” Kick rocks. So, we were scheduled to return to Cabanas for Beatles Night (Part 2) on the 17th but, as so often happens, their renovations became more extensive than anticipated, which never happens during a construction project. Isn’t that right, EVERYBODY WHO’S EVER DONE A RENOVATION EVER!?! So, sadly, Cabanas will not be ready in time for the gig, which is a real bummer; they’ve been very good to us the last couple years and it’s an insanely fun room to play. So, what is this BEATLES NIGHT ALERT I mentioned six paragraphs ago, you might ask? Zip it! I might answer. The Seventh Annual Beatles Night, Cape May (Part 2) will now (drumroll please…) be (can you feel the anticipation…) held (is the suspense killing you…?) at (did I turn the iron off…?) The Ugly Mug! Woot-woot! A big “thank you very much” to Ugly Muggers Gary Romberger and Amber Slawek for stepping up to save the day. Also, I love the Mug. Sang there with Southwind my very first day in Cape May (May 23, 1993), fronted the late, lamented O’Brien Bros (00-02), and most recently hosted some crizazay Terry O’ke shows (06-09), so I’m thrilled to be returning there with the Dudes to rattle the windows. Show starts at 8 and goes
February 7, 2019 ’til we run out of music (which is usually exactly four hours later.) We love you, yeah, yeah, yeah! The day before this, however, Saturday the 16th, O’Brien & Joyce (formerly TNT Acoustic) return to the Brown Room (if it’s finished) for a 3pm-7pm gig. We’ll be joined by Allison Landon, who will bring a different dynamic to the band (a younger, prettier dynamic) and will hopefully join us for series of summer shows I can’t announce just yet. If December is the Holiday Season then January is Renovation Season. EZFS, Carney’s, Cabanas, Uncle Bill’s, Brown Room; there’s a TLC show in here somewhere. “Cape May Winter Renovations & Great Chili Cook-Off” or some such. And okay, okay, I’ll be the host. What’s it pay? (Please pardon any typos. It’s 8 degrees outside, 12 in the gas booth, and fingers not work good. Now, I have to slice open my Taun-Taun and crawl inside with Han and Luke.) Speaking of construction delays, production of this week’s column was pushed back several days so I could comment on what was sure to be a scintillating Super Bowl LIII. Venerable Tom Brady vs upstart Jared Goff. LA’s high-flying offense, reminiscent of their Greatest Show on Turf heyday, vs a proud, if under-talented Patriots group. Would Brady cement his legacy or would Goff steal the torch? Instead, what we got was a defensive slog, a QB not ready for prime time and a widely derided halftime show (what were you expecting? It was Maroon 5. Maroon 5 did what Maroon 5 does). Anyway, bad game still count, and congratulations to Brady and the Patriots for their unprecedented Super Bowl success. There’s no denying their place in history. Here’s hoping Carson Wentz can be half as successful. ’Til next week, don’t get caught in The Undertow.

The Old Fogey
Ah, those good old Cape May days... by Jackson D’Catur
H
ere we are, a month and a bit into this brave new year, and I must say things are going well: the cannonball I took in the leg at Waterloo whilst leading the final charge to defeat that tiny irritating martinet, Napoleon, hardly hurts, unless I walk past a magnet! And the fashion this year seems to be for tall hats and spats, and …oh, I have mistakenly opened my journal from 1819, not 2019. How time flies! So 2019 has been a moderate disappointment thus far, mostly due to you, dear readers. You know I take a close — some might say unhealthy or obsessive — interest in the personal lives of each and every one of you. And I must say, 98 per cent of you have reneged on your New Year Resolutions already! On January 1, I was thrilled to see a virtual herd of larger citizens tottering slowly along Beach, in various eye-watering shades of lycra, sporting sneakers that resembled tiny sports cars. I was so pleased that I fetched my tricycle and cycled alongside them, shouting encouraging motivational slogans such as, “Well done, that fatty!” and, “Only another 200lbs to go!”
Young Albert, meanwhile, nipped at their heels, both to speed them up, and for nutrition — terriers love a little piece of Achilles tendon. But now, mere weeks later, the only “joggers” to be seen are those waif-like troubled souls who are running away from their lives, at least in my opinion, which is pretty much the same thing as expert opinion. And I am very disappointed. I will not name names, but I am watching you, sir, with the unused new bicycle that has not left the house since December 25, and who keeps looking out the window and
saying, “As soon as the sun comes out, there’ll be no stopping me.” And you, madam, with the silver Honda Accord: Your kids’ school is less than three minutes’ walk away from your home. And while I have you here, let me point out that vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips DOES count as dessert even when eaten straight from the tub in the freezer with a fork, when nobody is looking. Also, my honesty test, whereby I left a total of a dozen trinkets such as crisp new $20 bills, or small pieces of jewelry, lying around Cape May’s sidewalks recently, each with a tiny microchip embedded. To my surprise, not a single one has been handed in to the local constabulary, and so this very day, about the same time as you are reading this newspaper, I will be activating the second surprise in each — a very small and potent capsule of purple dye that will burst out and permanently stain anyone within a few feet. The purple-faced miscreants will be rounded up soon after, and taken to The Point, for the ocean/Old Gods to do with them what they will.

The Movie Column
N
Oscar thoughts by Tom Sims of Cape May Film Society
othing picks up a dreary winter better than a flash of gold! In just a few weeks, the Cape May Film Society will host its annual Oscar party. February 24... mark your calendars! Come out and cheer on your favorites. And this year the list for Best Picture is filled with a group of movies that are as worthy as they are diverse. And you would’ve gotten your first look at many of these movies right here in this column. Among the nominations, I can’t say I have a favorite, and they all deserve to be there. It’s notable to see Black Panther receive a Best Picture nomination. This is a first, but there has never been a comic book movie that had the social commentary this one did. If only Stan Lee were around to see this. One of many films I’ll review in the upcoming weeks is Bohemian Rhapsody, which I wanted to love but liked a lot instead. Roma saves itself with a wonderfully dramatic ending and beautiful cinematography throughout, but it was sluggish overall. Spike Lee gets his first nomination as
director for BlacKkKlansman. This is well-deserved, as the film was excellent. Green Book was an exceptional film that picked up a lot of nominations — and I sung its praises in this column last year. Also coming up next week, a review of Can You Ever Forgive Me? and Melissa McCarthy. She did an outstanding job, worthy of her nomination for Best Actress. Her co-star Richard Grant also deserves his Best Supporting Actor nomination. You would think with such talent the movie would have gotten more recogni-
tion. The film deserved it. In fact, I would have placed this on a list of my favorites that got missed (except it got something). So what films did the Academy miss? Every year, there’s always a narrative movie I would rather have seen nominated. This year that movie would be Eighth Grade. Lead actress, a teen named Elsie Fisher, received a Golden Globe nomination for her work. But the Academy did not recognize her or the film. When it comes to other films that got snubbed, Won’t You Be My Neighbor, about public television icon Mr Rogers, should’ve been nominated for best documentary (or something). Admittedly, I didn’t see all the other contenders, but it was remarkable. Science Fair was another noteworthy documentary that did not get nominated. Why not expand the category? So little space, so much more to write (including a review about my favorite animated film about a universe of Spider-Men!). Email me about Oscar picks (what you liked, what you didn’t) to tomhsims@aol.com.

Catherine Dugan’s guide to getting out there... this week, laughing your butt off!
omedy and wine have been linked since ancient Greece, where the god of the grape harvest, Dionysus, was also the god of theater and revelry. Alone among the 12 gods of Olympus, Dionysus, also called Bacchus, was half-mortal, and festivals honoring him celebrated the contradictions inherent in humans. We are high-minded beings capable of great thought, but we are also animals. Comedy serves to reassure us that we are not alone in our weaknesses, helps us to process pain and also defuses conflict. According to Scott Weems, author of Ha! The Science of When We Laugh and Why, humor is “a great way for us to have evolved so we don’t have to hit each other with sticks.” Comedy also serves to hold people in power accountable. Successful politicians tend to have the ability to laugh at themselves — think of Reagan’s operating room quip, “I hope you’re all Republicans;” Obama’s “anger translator” or the senior Bush’s declaration, “I’m president of the United States, and I’m not going to eat any
more broccoli!” The power of comedy is such that governments have long attempted to regulate it. Vaudevillian Sophie Tucker found radio restrictive because of the censors. Lenny Bruce was arrested in 1964 for routines on race and religion. In the UK, the Lord Chamberlain could censor live theater, including comedy, up until 1968. (Some people theorize that the origin of the term “working blue” comes from the blue pencil the Lord Chamberlain used to censor offensive lines, but others credit a comedian who kept his
ribald routines in a blue notebook, and still others the blue covers used on bawdy 18th-century books.) George Carlin’s arrest for obscenity prompted 1972’s Seven Dirty Words routine. All in the Family aired with a warning. Audiences recognized the difference between “punching up” and “punching down” and found their way to the talent. Standup comedy has its roots in American vaudeville and the British music hall. Pioneers like Charley Case performed without props; Moms Mabley and Bob Hope spoke directly to the audience in large venues. Mort Sahl performed before a brick wall, sparking a trend that peaked in the 1980s. At Willow Creek Winery, enjoy a three-course, wine-paired dinner and comedy show featuring three comedians and host. The show is or mature audiences, and you must be 21 to attend. On February 16, seating begins at 6:15, dinner is at 7 and the show begins at 8. Tickets are $65 per person. Visit willowcreekwinerycapemay.com for advance purchase and further information, or call 609-770-8782.

The Answer Lady
T
he Answer Lady invites inquiries from gentle readers on all manner of relationship quandaries, matters of the heart and ethics. If you’d like to send a query, write to info@exitzero. us. Or, simply sit back, enjoy a cup of coffee and contemplate the wisdom herein. Dear Answer Lady My husband and I married in December — my second, his third. We met while he was still married and there was tension between him and a friend, who attended the wedding, which I was surprised about. My husband noticed he didn’t give us a gift and called him about it — against my wishes. The friend said it was an oversight and he would send it right out. But he didn’t. It was clear he was just saying that to avoid a full argument. My husband wants to confront him again, but I have put my foot down. I want to move on. What can I say to convince him? — Movin’ On Up Dear Movin’ The Answer Lady is sympathetic to your husband’s annoyance with the fact that a friend showed up to the wedding to partake of the food and booze, but his conscience kicked
Wise answers to perplexing questions
into gear when it came time to pony up. But, you are quite right as well. Better to let it go and move on. The main argument against further confrontation is that it is to no good end. Your husband made his point with the first call and the friend volleyed back with a face-saving lie. Game over. Get into the Valentine’s Day spirit with a visit to Cape May Day Spa and sign up for the Sweet Escape For Two experience. Dear Answer Lady Our granddaughter’s birthday is coming up. She is five and we are tired of buying
plastic toys that end up covering her bedroom floor and us stepping on them in our bare feet. Alternatives? We combed the discount stores at Christmas in search of the perfect gift and now they are thrown in a forgotten corner and really did nothing to stimulate her imagination. — Toying with Our Patience Dear Toying Give a gift of experience. Let her and her parents pick but there is much to choose from. Dance lessons at Joanne Reagan Dance Studio; gymnastics at Jersey Cape Dance & Gymnastics or voice/piano lessons from Dr John and Judy Curtis. The Center for Community Arts offers art and photography classes throughout the year. The Nature Center of Cape May has a wonderful array of activities ranging from crafts to birding to kayaking when the weather warms up. You are wise to go another direction and one which your granddaughter will remember and carry with her. Board games are also great gifts that will encourage you to participate as well. The Toy Shop of Cape May and Dellas Five and Dime can help you there.

Bird Droppings
Dispatches from the nation’s birdwatching capital… by Seymore Thanu
B
rrrrr. It might be winter, but even now the earth is ever inclining toward spring. There are birds in Middle America fattening up for the epic journey ahead. Migration is a strategy that allows those creatures that can exploit a seasonal bounty of food and avoid competition with other species. The Ruby-Throated Hummingbird that visits your garden is one of them. And while hummingbirds are not due back until April, many other species will be returning to Cape May in the weeks ahead. One of them is Forster’s Tern, whose arrival is often as early as late March, followed by Laughing Gull. These two summer breeders don’t winter in the tropics but just south of here along the Atlantic seaboard. Able to forage as they migrate, there is no need to lay down the fat reserves that birds like Sanderling and Eastern Kingbirds rely upon. Hummingbirds? To be honest, these tiny dynamos can hardly sip enough fuel to keep functioning. Laying down fat reserves are quite beyond their capacity, despite a staple
diet of sugar. Hummingbirds need to gorge themselves on nectar every ten minutes or so. How does this bird, weighing slightly more than a penny, fly across the Gulf of Mexico? It’s a mystery. No, they don’t ride on the backs of other birds as has been suggested. The downside of migration? Great risk. The cardinals in your yard figure it’s not worth it. They and many other species are “permanent residents.” As such, they avoid risk and are better able to start the new nesting season as soon as warmer temperatures
provide. This is March in our region and males sometimes vocalize earlier than this Heck, even in this bitter cold snap, we had a male House Finch singing outside the sunny side of our house in late January. Now, about that two-faced Pennsylvania rodent? It was German immigrants who imported the Groundhog Day legend to our shore. In the Druid tradition, any old hibernating animal was a worthy stand-in for the celebration. Druids figured one shadow was as good as another. Bears, badgers? All ideal candidates. Why February 2? It’s halfway between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. There IS some meteorological truth to the legend. If he sees his shadow, it means the sun is shining. In our region, clear winter skies are associated with cold Arctic air. Since these patterns tend to persist, a sunny day on Groundhog Day portends a late Spring. Here in Cape May, Groundhogs are rare. It’s why we rely on birds to forecast the future. Right now, looking a bird-impoverished landscape here in Goshen, I think the birds are saying: “Sorry. Late Spring.”

THEA is a young adult- about 1.5 yrs old. She came to the shelter because her owners could not care for her. Thea happily runs around the yard chasing balls. She is very affectionate once she gets to know you. When she would like a treat, she sits very prettily and offers her paw to shake. Thea enjoys long walks and would make a great companion!
KIPPER arrived at the shelter as a stray but has quickly become a favorite. He seems to get along with dogs, children and cats making him a wonderful family pet. Kipper is a well mannered, mature gentleman who would thrive in an environment that would give him care and exercise. At only 24 pounds, he is a nice medium sized companion. Adopt!
LUNA a young girl looking for owners that are experienced with the border collie breed. She is quick to learn but came from a busy household that didn’t have the time to train or give direction. Two most important things to Luna. So if you are an adult home that has the time and energy to keep up with her adopt Luna today!
