Love Is All Around On The Cape The magazine of AAA, Via, has named Cape May a top romantic getaway, along with Coastal Living magazine. Between the horse-drawn carriage rides and spectacular sunsets, it’s no wonder Cape May ranks among the top three most popular wedding destinations in the nation. Last Saturday, Maddie Von Savage joined the ranks of happy brides who’ve tied the knot here. On the lawn of Congress Hall, she married John Maloy, whom she fell in love with on the Cape. Now, the pair are off to honeymoon in Paris and the Maldives. Congrats, lovebirds! Right: Brice, Andrew, bride Maddie, Julie and Emily in the Boiler Room

SOME INTERESTING CAPE MAY TRIVIA AND FUN FACTS
Weird Sea Creature
The Tassled Scorpionfish is among the most poisonous animals in the ocean, equipped with venom-filled spines used to stun potential predators (or unaware scuba divers). The head and body are adorned with tassels meant to look like seaweed for disguise purposes (some even grow from the lips, creating a funny sort of beard). Then, this bottom dweller uses its large mouth as a vacuum to suck in unsuspecting prey, like crustaceans and other fish.
Did You Know?
The Cape’s running event roster ranges from cute (the Cub Scouts’ annual Glow Run, which raised awareness for pedestrian safety) to solemn (New Jersey’s Run For the Fallen, which honors military men and women who’ve died in service) to politically charged (Senator Cory Booker answering questions from constituents while trotting along the promenade?). Now, for the second year in a row, the island is offering a half marathon. Put on by Cape May Running Company, the October 26 Hallowed Half boasts a fast course that doesn’t leave the island. Costumes optional!

Here’s what the EZ team had for dinner this week
E
very week, the Exit Zero crew goes for lunch (or dinner or, maybe even on occasion, breakfast) at one of Cape May’s excellent dining establishments. Then we give you the skinny on what we ate, what we talked about (or some of what we talked about), who spat their drink from laughing too hard, who served us, who we bumped into and, you know, the general vibe. Where We Ate: The Boiler Room at Congress Hall. The occasion: Sometimes, you just need pizza and wine. The celebrity sighting: We have it on good authority that Candace Bushnell, author of Sex and the City, once (or maybe twice or more) danced the night away until 2am in the Boiler Room. The vibe: Cozy industrial chic. This underground pizzeria boasts mood lighting, exposed brick, metal tables and live music. The farm: Beach Plum! Just a couple of miles away, this 62acre stretch of land in West Cape May provides produce (including those excellent sauce tomatoes) for the Boiler Room and other Cape Resorts restaurants. The app: It’s physically impossible for us to come here without ordering meatballs. And they never disappoint. The meal: We ordered the sopressata and capicola pie, which comes with fig jam, rosemary, red onion, goat cheese, mozzarella and aged balsamic. Yes, it’s as good as it sounds. We also split an anchovy pie. The joke: Why did the hipster burn his mouth on Boiler Room pizza? He ate it before it was cool. (Sorry… too cheesy?). The dessert: Another pizza with house-made pepperoni and jalapeno cream sauce. Don’t judge us! We also got the fresh seasonal farm salad to up the health factor. The crust: Thin, but not too thin. Pillowy yet crispy. We know, we don’t understand how that’s possible, either. The run-in: Tracey and Jeff Martin. Tracey works at Cape Resorts as an executive assistant, while Jeff teaches science at Lower Cape May Regional High School. They also have Aqua Trails kayaking business. And, apparently, good taste in pizza. The conversation: Finishing up the latest Exit Zero color issue, out soon! The consensus: Trust us on those meatballs, Candace!

This week, Sandy Salasin from Elaine’s is up. How long have you been bartending? Three years. Favorite drink to make? I like making margaritas because I make them the way I drink them, really good! What’s your bartending pet peeve? When customers say “don’t worry I’ll take care of you.” It’s the kiss of death and usually leads to a bad tip. Dream job? I love bartending, I had my dream job as a flight attendant, but I prefer this!

Undertow
I
Terry O’Brien’s legendary column... social satire, shameless plugs — and general self-indulgence
t was a music-filled week here at Undertow Central (located in beautiful downtown Erma), so I’ll focus on that instead of my incredibly sore throat because, honestly, even I’m getting tired of my complaining. (But it hurts…) Apparently everyone in Cape May except for me and Tim Joyce knew that me and Tim were moving from Sundays to Fridays at the Rusty Nail, so… you can catch O’Brien & Joyce this Friday at the Rusty Nail, 8-12! This will mark the end of our 2019 summer residency playing the Nail, which any working Cape May musician will tell you is a fabulous venue. We hope to return in 2020 and keep an eye out for some possible Brown Room gigs this winter. And, uh, actually this Friday will be me and Al Olivero. But, you know… Began a new Tuesday night venture at Exit Zero Filling Station with guitarist Bill Caterini. Astute, longtime readers may recall that Bill and I partnered for several years in the early 10s, during my Morey’s Piers Period. (Did that actually happen?) Anyway, Tuesdays at EZFS are Rocktown Tuesdays
(brought to you by Rocktown Vodka) with Rocktown drink specials (brought to you by Rocktown Vodka) and live music (brought to you by Rocktown Vodka). Bill and I play a quirkier, more alternative brand of music which seemed a nice fit for this quirky, alternative vodka (brought to you by Rocktown Vodka). See you there, 5-9! Rocktown Tuesday is one of four theme nights at EZFS. There’s Mango Monday featuring mango-inspired food and drink. Pump Day Wednesday, all Cape May Brewing Co. draft beers $5. And Nauti Thursday,
featuring specialty drinks cooked up by our mixologists using Nauti Spirits, um, spirits. (Some weeks I’m creative, other weeks I’m tired.) Tim and I had another fun night at EZFS on Saturday where we were joined on multiple occasions by Charlotte from Philly. Charlotte is about eight, sings pretty well, plays a mean shaker egg and TOTALLY BELIEVED the white floor tiles were lava. Starting next Friday (10/18), we’ll be there every Friday AND Saturday (for the most part) for the rest of the year and the rest of eternity or until I die or until the nights start losing money or whatever comes first! So, if you’re keeping score at home, that’s three nights a week Exit Zero Filling Station is employing my voice to compliment your drinks and curries. My Beatles tribute band, Love Me Dudes, played a gig at Leisure Knoll (a 55+ housing community) in Manchester, NJ last Friday. Where is Manchester? I don’t know, other than 1o minutes off exit 83 on the Parkway. Other than the PA not working properly and

no one knowing how to make it work properly and having to rig up a sound system using bubble gum and chicken wire (should have called ourselves The Macgyvers), it was a wonderful show for an auditorium full of people who were in their teens and 20s when the lads changed the world. And there’s just nothing quite like closing a show with 250+ people drowning you out on “Hey, Jude”. That gig brought an end to the tenure of back-up vocalist Rachel Husta, which closely followed the departure of guitarist Herb Moore. I cannot thank them enough for their contributions to the band. While I don’t think there’s any way to significantly improve a band after such losses, we are excited to move forward with Maddie Hogan and Barry Siegfried filling those roles. Sorry, Matt Lucerne, but EZFS bartender Shannon Demirel is my new best friend. Why? Because I showed up for work and she said, “Oh my god! You’re so skinny!” I would now carry her to the fires on Mount Doom. Cape May’s most famous Birding Weirdo, Tom “Big Sexy” Johnson, brought a flock of ladies, or should I say, birds (god, I’m clever), in for dinner the other night. Tom leads birding expeditions into the mountains of Cape May, hoping for a glimpse of the elusive Red-Crested Warbler. (I’m sorry, I don’t get birding. Do you, like, catch them and eat them?) It was a very nice group, who went through their Bird Kill Sheets (I guess?) while they pecked (HA!) at their curries. I’d say more, but I gotta save a few of these for next time he comes in. (And thank you for the gratuity on top of the gratuity, Tom!) Tuesday night we served something of a Cape May Bartenders Hall of Fame dinner, with a table led by Tommy Caruso and Katie Repici, and dotted with mixology luminaries like Liam Miller, Emir Santos and Jaime Saporito from the Rusty Nail, and served by fellow legend Tish Roussos. I can’t
October 10, 2019 say much more, lest I never get served another cocktail in Cape May, but suffice to say, some imbibements were imbibed, some shots shot, some bread broken. And, knowing them, probably an 85% tip. If you enjoy the iconic ‘Spout Off’ in the Cape May County Herald but find there’s just not enough unearned moral superiority and humorless scoldery, but also wish it could last all day every day, my friends do I have a place for you! See, there’s this Facebook page called Cool Cape May, an “exclusive” club of 41,000 who like to sniff their own farts. (Not all 41k, but enough to require a digital Green New Deal.) I usually stream music on YouTube when I’m out on my delivery route every Wednesday night/Thursday morning. But this week my phone was dead because somebody (my wife) can’t seem to hang onto a charger for more than two days before losing/breaking it then takes mine because why not? Anyway, tuned in to 101.5 WCFA-LP and caught the end of Rick Ferrante and Sandy McCullough’s show where they played “Captain Jack” and “Pressure” by Billy Joel. This was followed by Ray Crew’s show where he played “Where’s the Orchestra” and “Temptation”, two Billy deep cuts, and I suddenly became very worried that Billy had died and nobody told me. Nope! Just some radio guys playing great songs. Hmmm… maybe I should get me a show on there. They have also, naturally, been playing a lot of Roy Baker shows. And the more I hear, the more I wish I knew him better. Lastly this week, you are cordially invited to join me and my Billy Joel tribute, The Strangers, at Carney’s on Sunday night at 7 for an evening of music from America’s premier pop composer. These shows are always a lot of fun and I can just about guarantee we’re going to play a few songs that make you go, “Man, I forgot all about this one!” ’Til next week, don’t get caught in The Undertow.

The Old Fogey
I
Ah, those good old Cape May days... by Jackson D’Catur
have great news for dog lovers, and good news for everyone else. Next week’s Exit Zero (this very rag, which has the highest audited circulation of ANY newspaper in American history) will have a free dog in it, for every reader. And we don’t just mean a voucher for a dog. When we say “every reader gets a dog”, then every reader gets a dog, irrespective of that reader’s wish or ability to have a canine companion. What’s that you say? You need a service dog? No problem: every dog will come with a little waistcoat, which will have stitched on it, “It’s none of your business why the human on the other end of the leash needs me, all right?” I can hear you say, how can a dog fit in a newspaper? Well, of course, that would be silly. No, every dog will come with a newspaper in its mouth, like those dogs from cartoons about small town American life. Of course, our experiments to have Young Albert go and fetch a newspaper from the calloused hand of the brute who owns this majestic organ, were failures. Albert – like all Yorkshire Terriers – is only loosely connected with reality, and
consumes newspapers. In order to read them, one has to get at his poop with tweezers and a magnifier, and assemble all of the tiny letters. And only this very column, which you are reading with slack jaw and eyes blurred from tears of hilarity, is worth the effort. So here’s the even better news, along with a brief and not exactly accurate account of how the contest came about. I had decided to adopt a dog in need, remotely, whereby one can feel better about oneself for a very small dollar amount, and no need to actually DO
anything. Except my Mount Blanc fountain pen smudged a little in the liquid gold I always use (to convey my importance and classiness) and instead of pledging cash, I ticked the box offering to adopt an actual animal. And instead of one, I wrote 3,400. And damn my eyes if the offer isn’t refundable. And the even better news? The dogs are all pit bulls. That’s right, those adorable 150lb piles of muscle with wide smiles and rather more intelligence than a pickup truck full of Wildwooders. Worry not, though: every dog has been fitted with a charming bandana and a new name that suggests old-style values and endless patience. Each one will come with a handwritten tag in first person, suggesting that the dog wrote it. “I love humans, but fly into a rage when I see a balloon or a cloud”, was just one of the endearing little messages I saw. “Don’t touch my ears,” read another. And for those of you reading over a neighbor’s shoulder, smirking, worry not: your pit bull will be in the mailbox when you get home.

Catherine Dugan’s guide to getting out there... this week, pumpkins and Poe
I
’m surprised to find a dearth of pumpkins in the works of Edgar Allan Poe, that godfather of goth. Preparing a lesson on the perfect poet for October, I thought I’d find pumpkin imagery aplenty. Pumpkins are rich in symbolism, standing in for the world, for pregnancy and motherhood, and for prosperity. Pumpkins are also associated with travel, as with Cinderella, and with survival, as in a Noah’s Ark-like legend in which the ark is a giant pumpkin. Dreaming of a jack-o-lantern suggests you should be wary of a false friend. Why didn’t Poe use them? An orphan who also lost his adoptive mother, Poe wrote beautiful poems about mourning and death. In “Ulalume,” as the narrator strolls to a graveyard on a “night in the lonesome October,” he passes “crisp leaves” but no pumpkins. There’s no mention of pumpkins among the rotting reeds and trunks surrounding the House of Usher, and no mention of pumpkin spice enhancing that cask of Amontillado. Had Poe not succumbed to illness — “phrentis” or alcoholism or syphillis or flu or poisoning or a brain tumor or

some other appropriately mysterious cause — at age 40, perhaps he would have found time to include the famous Halloween symbol in his work. Pumpkins grew near each of Poe’s many homes and were a traditional American food. Native Americans made a sort of vegan jerky out of pumpkin, drying strips of the nutrient-rich squash. Pumpkin helped stave off scurvy when food was scarce, and farm families relied upon it to feed humans and animals, especially in late winter. Early-American cookbooks included recipes for pumpkin, including something akin to a crustless pie, but no one was celebrating the golden gourd

— you would have been hard pressed to find Colonial influencers celebrating the return of pumpkin season. Pumpkin was a boring staple, and by the time Poe was writing, it was a food associated with poor people. Perhaps Poe considered pumpkin too pedestrian to mention. Don’t let Poe’s neglect deter you from enjoying pumpkin season. Find your fill of pumpkins along Scarecrow Alley from October 11 to November 3 at the Emlen Physick Estate. Admission is free. Paint a pumpkin at Congress Hall’s Fall Festival on October 19 from 12 to 6 and pose for your Instagram account in front of a pumpkin-filled hay wagon. Then, get spooky with Poe by Candlelight at the East Lynne Theater Company at 8:00 (admission $12), and cap off the night with a pumpkin-themed toast at the Merion Inn. On Sunday, October 20 at noon, watch all the cute little pumpkins in town march in the Cape May Halloween Parade along Washington Street. Prizes will be awarded at the Emlen Physick Estate at the end of the parade. Registration is free.

The Movie Column By Jacquie Sims, guest columnist
C
all this movie #metoofightsback. Hustlers tells the story of a group of strip club dancers fed up with their working conditions. The place has turned seedy, and when it comes to the clientele they’re getting short changed. But these women are capitalists. They take back the power. Jennifer Lopez plays Ramona, a celebrity on the strip circuit. Lopez is amazing as a performer; she has raw talent and core strength... especially on the pole! That’s pretty difficult to pull off at any age — but particularly at 50. She had the best body in the movie. Go, J Lo! The women start a business rolling clients the old fashioned way — by running up big tabs, getting them way drunk, and swiping their credit cards. Was it fraud? Umm, yes. Are the guys are too embarrassed to report the women to police? That’s part of the plan. These business owners mostly took advantage of the rich — but they made mistakes that cost them. In the end, will justice be served?
Constance Wu plays Destiny, a young dancer Ramona befriends. You feel Destiny more than the other characters, her emotions, her depth with struggles and courage to follow her conscious. There are several celebrities in the film as well, but were they utilized fully? Cardi B essentially seems to play herself as far as one could imagine her to be off screen. Lizzo has a small part. There is already Oscar buzz about Lopez’s performance. For me, she should have been nominated for her role as lead in Selena (1997)
for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe. This movie was interesting. It was entertaining. I wanted this movie to be better, maybe even worthy of Oscar, but in the end it didn’t resonate that way for me. The dancing was compelling, but it didn’t make me think about it over and over. So many other films I’ve seen recently still resonate: Phantom Thread (2017), that quirky couple was so real, it was surreal; The Biggest Little Farm (2018), with a life circle as big as the changing seasons; even Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), filled with genuine intergalactic diversity. The dance performances were provocative and the story moved along. There was enough entertainment to make sure you didn’t feel swindled by these hustlers. On October 19, 6pm, West Cape May Borough Hall hosts a screening of Free Solo. The solo climb of 3,200 foot El Capitan in Yosemite by Alex Honnold is chronicled in this Oscar-winning documentary. ARIES: You will hear that Exit Zero’s new fall cocktail menu will be available this weekend. You will get to the bar for a Harvest Manhattan stat. TAURUS: You will buy a new car and, inspired by the Race of Gentlemen, will drag race it on Beach Avenue. You will get arrested. GEMINI: You will play a game of frisbee in Rotary Park. The frisbee will get caught in a tree, which will disturb a migrating raptor, who will land on the head of a nearby woman, who will demand that you pay to get her hair fixed at Artizan Salon, which, lucky for you, is reasonably priced. CANCER: You will get your flu shot because you are a smart person concerned about the health of the young and elderly people in your orbit. You will forget to take off your pirate bandaid before a hot date with your crush, but your crush will find it endearing. LEO: You will go apple picking with friends. These friends will abandon you after your fourth pun about this a-peeling activity, even after you apple-ogize. VIRGO: You will go for a walk in Cape May Point State Park, where you will encounter a white-tailed deer who leads you to a secret, sparkling pond full of magical trolls eating takeout from Nick Filet. LIBRA: You will attend the Nauti Harvest Fall Festival. You will embarrass yourself in pumpkin bowling, but you will kick butt in the corn maze. SCORPIO: In honor of Victorian Weekend, you will sport a full-skirted dress with bonnet hat and lace-up boots. You will begin referring to your hands as “daddles” and asking people if you can “do the bear”. SAGITTARIUS: You will buy a drone and attempt to take aerial photos of the Cape May peninsula. You will accidentally fly it into the water tower where it will spontaneously combust (the drone, not the water tower). CAPRICORN: You will attend Hawktoberfest at Hawk Haven Vineyard and Winery this weekend. You will indulge in the offerings of so many food trucks you will black out into a food coma and not remember dancing on stage with Chris GS and the Ramble. AQUARIUS: You will adopt a dog from Cape May County Animal Shelter. You will name him Ryan Fleacrest. PISCES: You will get lost in the woods behind Higbee Beach, where you will be forced to survive on leaves and berries. You will build a shelter out of sticks and learn to commune with coyotes.

The Answer Lady
T
he Answer Lady invites inquiries from gentle readers on all manner of relationship quandaries, matters of the heart and ethics. If you’d like to send a query, write to info@exitzero. us. Or, simply sit back, enjoy a cup of coffee and contemplate the wisdom herein. Dear Answer Lady My sister and I hosted a dinner party for my parents’ 25th anniversary last weekend. I’m an artist so I centered the table setting around a color theme. I asked my sister not to bring any serving dishes and if she did to make sure they were white because the tablecloth was red-checkered. My parents met at a church picnic and everything was centered around that theme. Which my sister knew. I also told her the food was taken care of, especially the potato salad which my father is most particular about. She showed up with purple serving bowls, one of which was filled with store-bought potato salad which she ceremoniously plopped down in the middle of table with no regard to table design, which was hung next to the table. How long in my life am I going to be tormented his way? I told my

husband I would refuse to ever host another affair like this again. He says I’m making a drama about nothing. Do you think it’s nothing? — Hassled Hostess Dear Hassled You really need to stop and smell the salt air, not to mention pay a visit to Hawk Haven Winery. Down a couple of sangrias. Enjoy the Sunday afternoon entertainment and FHAGETABOUTIT. Your grand vision was very thoughtful but did not factor in anyone wanting to help. She is your sister, not your employee.
Dear Answer Lady My best friend and I started a little retail business selling pies and cupcakes. We travel around selling at street fairs and outdoor events. We’re one year in and we’ve been pretty successful. Problem is, I suspect she’s gone rogue. Someone called us yesterday to change their order. When I couldn’t find the order, the caller said, “Well is this bleep?” “No,” I said. ‘This is her business partner.” And they hung up. And there have been other odd things. Now, what do I do with that? — Sold Out Dear Sold Out Oh dear. It could be quite innocent or the whole thing could be dodgy. Start making arrangements to go out on your own. Go to a bank or start socking money away to finance the move. Don’t make a scene or mention the phone call. Take this time to keep your eye on things. It’s always good to have a Plan B, even if your suspicions are groundless. What you really need is to brew yourself a good strong cup of coffee. Love the Cook’s coffee beans are they key. Breathe in that lovely aroma and sip away your worries.

Bird Droppings
T
Dispatches from the nation’s birdwatching capital… by Seymore Thanu
he recent news article of last week disclosing that North America has lost nearly three billion birds in recent decades came as a shock to most Americans, but not to bird watchers who have witnessed the decline. Bobolinks, which once massed over the skies over Cape May are now reduced to a trickle. Shorebirds which massed in Cape May’s marshes are a shadow of their former abundance. Several years ago I judged that the number of Greater Yellowlegs passing through Delaware Bay’s marshes in March and April have declined by 80%, a figure collaborated by surveys on winter territories in South America. But when it comes to assessing declines in songbird numbers, one of the best metrics is the Sharp-shinned Hawk totals from the Cape May Hawkwatch. Once so numerous the birds could scarcely be counted, these bird eating northern forest raptors have been declining for decades, As goes prey, so goes raptors that
depend upon them. Climate change and the environmental changes it fosters is the likely cause of the declines in bird numbers but climate change is merely the latest manifestation of challenges our species has levied upon the world’s other denizens. In the nineteenth century, it was market gunning. In the 20th Century, it was DDT and always it is our species growing domination of the planet. Simply put, were hogging the planet.
Unless we change our suicidal course, the result will be a biologically impoverished planet and while we have safeguards in place that respond to species so numerically bankrupt that their existence is imperiled. There are few mechanisms to insure biological richness. That is where we come in, because there are steps everyone can take to help safeguard birds, an obligation that is magnified by our residency at a migratory bottleneck like Cape May. Steps to take include: Having outside screens on windows to reduce fatality caused by bird strikes. Keeping Cats indoors. Maintaining native vegetation in your yard. Lending your financial support to organizations committed to bird conservation. Finally, go out and engage birds yourself. Become familiar with those creatures that not only enrich our world but serve as our planetary safety net. Our canaries in a global coal mine.

Three beautiful dogs from the Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center... call 465-8923
MISSY is an eight year old lab mix who has experienced quite a bit of upheaval in her life. She is looking for a stable home that will return the affection she is anxious to give. She does well in the company of other dogs and will greet people happily when they approach her respectfully. Missy would thrive living with a family that gives her much needed attention.
MAXINE is a two year old German shepherd who lived with a family including children before coming to the shelter. It is reported that she was good with everyone in the family, but was not comfortable with outsiders. Maxine will be shown to potential adopters with an approved application and by appointment only. Give Maxine a second chance and adopt!
Robert Panaccio, VMD Robert Moffatt, VMD Nancy Reilly, VMD Patricia J. Link, DVM
LAUREN is a brown and white beauty who arrived at the shelter when her owners moved and couldn’t take their dogs. She lived in a household with other dogs but is enjoying being the focus of attention at the shelter. She loves human attention and frequently solicits petting and praise. Lauren is an affectionate, sweet girl looking for a loving and active companion.

Three beautiful cats from the Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center... call 465-8923
JULIET came to the shelter after her and her friends couldn’t live at their house anymore. She is very friendly, sweet and the prettiest one out of the bunch. Juliet gets along with other cats and dogs, and can adjust to any kind of home. Come meet Juliet at the shelter and find out if you’d like her as much as she’ll like you. Adopt this cutie today!
ITTY BITTY got brought to the shelter when her owner couldn’t take care of her anymore. She’s an older girl who has been through a lot, but she’s used to other cats, dogs and even birds. Itty doesn’t like being picked up too much, but loves to be pet. If you have room in your home for an old gal like Itty Bitty, come meet her at the shelter!
TYBALT and his friends all came to the shelter from the house where they lived for five years. Tybalt is handsome, friendly and loves to play. He even gets along with other cats and dogs. If you’re looking to take home a new cat, consider Tybalt and maybe one of his friends too!

Come see this luxury oasis at 3 Robin Lane, located in the heart of Cape Island
One of the most beautiful areas of Cape Island is known as Cold Spring, South of the Canal. It provides a quiet, rural respite from the busy, more populated areas of our island. Cold Spring shares its borders with Cape May, West Cape May and Cape May Point. On a quiet cul de sac in Cold Spring, at the heart of the island, is where you will find this beautifully constructed luxury home. You are just a short bike ride away from the beaches, historic district, local farms, winery, lighthouse, nature trails and wildlife preserves. With 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, you will have plenty of room for everyone. The living room and great room each have a gas fireplace and cathedral ceilings. The well-appointed kitchen has granite counters, breakfast bar and stainless steel appliances. Dine in the formal dining room or the casual dining area. The first floor master suite is spacious and has a luxury bath with heated floor, plus an oversized walk-in closet. Crown molding, hardwood floors, finished basement, front porch, rear deck, 2-car garage, perennial gardens, lush landscaping and many more desirable features make this a must see! $895,000
