CERTIFIED RESPONSIBILITY Fabbri has always been committed to respecting the needs of all consumers and to certifying this social responsibility. This year we will introduce a wide range of Vegan OK certified products, to fulfil the needs of the increasing number of vegan consumers and their sensibility regarding responsible consumption. With 600 gluten-free products and more than 400 lactose-free items, we can fulfil the requirements of those who cannot or have decided not to consume certain ingredients, without renouncing to the taste and quality of our products. Furthermore, several years ago, Fabbri decided not to use hydrogenated fats or palm oil in its products. We are convinced that responsibility can also be measured by the ability to bring together different needs and cultures. Proof of this are our 400 Kosher-certified products, compliant with the Jewish preparation regulations, and our 250 Halal Italia products, certified by the Muslim institution in charge of such certifications. Our raw materials and suppliers are very accurately selected, to ensure the safety of the production line, in compliance with international standards UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, IFS (International Food Standards) and BRC (British Retail Consortium). Quality and responsibility are two fundamental ingredients of Fabbri products.

Salep and Mastika Salep base Fabbri’s wide range of bases is now even richer thanks to the addition of an ancient specialty that dates back to the Ottoman Empire. Salep is a flavour obtained, to this day as it always has been, from the dried bulbs of different kinds of orchids. It was once considered a tonic or medicine, and it is still used to make beverages, desserts and ice creams. Delipaste Mastika Chios, a small island in the northern Aegean Sea, has been famous since ancient times for its production of mastika. This Delipaste, with a delicate and refreshing taste, is now another Fabbri specialty.
Kaimaki Recipe Kaimaki is the result of the union between Delipaste Mastika and the Base Salep. A gelato with oriental touches, with a rich, slightly rubbery texture. Fabbri now suggests Kaimaki enriching it with the inimitable Amarena Fabbri and Pistacho grains satisfying even the most exotic of tastes.
