Table Talk

Some of my family members had been in FA for many years when their father (my ex) finally decided to join. One day we were having lunch at my daughter’s house, and my ex, being a newbie in FA, got up in the middle of lunch to look at something in the kitchen.

My grandson, who was about seven years old at the time, and had lived with a mother in FA for his whole life, said in horror, “Grandpa, I don’t know if that’s a break, but you can’t leave the table in the middle of lunch!”
