Villa de Vallecas Social Analise Villa de Vallecas is one of the 21 districts of the city of Madrid, Spain. It divided in three neighborhoods Casco Hist贸rico de Vallecas, Santa Eugenia and Ensanche de Vallecas, which administratively belongs to the historic center of Vallecas. This district is in full expansion , since south of the old town has been built Ensanche de Vallecas, which occupies the surface separating the hull of the M-45 (Vallecas) and part of the surface between the M-45 and M-50 ( PAU Valdecarros ). This widening remains of the old town from the administrative point of view , but can be considered as another neighborhood district.
Villa de Vallecas is one of the best connected outlying districts with the city center by rail and bus. In 1999 came to Villa de Vallecas Metro, specifically Metro line 1 runs the District of Madrid with six stations (three from 1999 and three from 2007).
Social Indices The district of Villa de Vallecas have a good education facility. There are at least 15 private preschools (0-3 years) and 4 public nursery schools (2 municipally owned and 2 of the Community of Madrid), 9 public preschools and primary schools (CEIP), 2 secondary schools, as well as several private schools teaching. Very close to the metro station Sierra de Guadalupe is the South Campus of the Polytechnic University of Madrid that although it is very close to Villa de Vallecas district actually located in the neighboring district of Puente de Vallecas. This campus is a School of Telecommunications Engineering, a School of Engineering, a School of Engineering in Geodesy and Surveying and the Center for Design and Fashion. In addition, there is the Institute of Automotive Research at UPM and a business park of new technology companies linked to the UPM. Furthermore, there are two hospitals in the public health network of the Community of Madrid. Hospital Virgen de la Torre is located in the Old Town and the Infanta Leonor Hospital, built in a very close to the Metro station Sierra de Guadalupe plot.
