The fashion industry is a product of the modern age. They need to devote displaying clothing & other fashion items, such as advertisements or fashion magazines. This is the reason photography has became integral. Over time, fashion photography has developed its own aesthetic in which the clothes and fashions are enhanced by the presence of exotic locations or accessories. Fashion umumnya berarti pakaian, akan tetapi sebenarnya adalah sesuatu keistimewaan & kebiasaan seseorang berpenampilan seseorang yang kemudian menjadi gaya yang popular. Termasuk fashion dalam sepatu, asesoris dan make up. Industri fashion adalah sebuah produk dari era modern. Mereka membutuhkan ruang pajang pakaian dan produk fashion lainnya, seperti iklan atau majalah fashion. Ini adalah alasan mengapa fotografi menjadi tidak terpisahkan dengan fashion. Pada awalnya saya masih menggunakan kamera kompak, saya masih ingat pertama kali saya mengunjungi Kathmandu , Nepal, pemandangan gunung Everest begitu menakjubkan. In 2005 I was introduced to shoot models in the studio, since then I realized that my passion are with models and fashion. I had my first commercial shoot of pre-wedding, wedding and honeymoon in Europe 2008. Now I am focus on model or personal portfolio. My works was including models from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Germany, Brazil, Russia, Singapore, China, UK, Spain, Ukraine, Mexico, India, Australia, Netherlands & Morocco. Pada tahun 2005 saya pertama kali di perkenalkan dengan foto-foto model didalam studio, dan saya menyadari kesukaan saya ada di model dan fashion. Pada tahun 2008 Saya mendapat pekerjaan pertama untuk melakukan pemotretan pre-wedding, wedding dan honeymoon ke Eropa. Dan saat ini saya focus pada pemotretan model dan mengumpulkan portfolio pribadi yang melibatkan berbagai model antara lain dari Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Germany, Brazil, Russia, Singapore, China, UK, Spain, Ukraine, Mexico, India, Australia, Netherlands & Morocco. Membandingkan Nikon D4s dan Nikon D4 pada bagian badan kamera tidak nampak beda, hanya terletak pada grip yang lebih besar, joystick yang lebih kecil, bentuk penutup memori yang sedikit berbeda dan layar monitor yang lebih besar (3.2 inch). D4s menggunakan baterai baru yaitu EN-EL 18a yang dapat digunakan sampai 3020 kali lebih banyak dibandingan baterai model lama EN-EL18 hanya 2600 kali, namun tetap kompatibel untuk digunakan.

Comparing Nikon D4s and D4 on the surface don’t look so different, aside from a redesign of the bigger grip, the smaller joystick controls on back, new design of memory card’s door and bigger LCD screen (3.2 inch). The D4s takes a new battery, the EN-EL18a, to extend use time out to 3020 shots, up from 2600 from the older EN-EL18, but it still remains compatible. 11 frames, compared to the 10 frames per second of the D4, may not seem like a huge difference. But it was so amazing when I was shooting 11 RAW file frames per second without ever once stopping for buffering. 26

EXPEED 4 processor brings the biggest change in D4s. The sensor and EXPEED 4 processor makes D4s has wider ISO range. It allows the camera to shoot with a native ISO range of 100-25.600 and an expanded range of 50-409.600. It has also reduced viewfinder blackout time, made transitions more ‘smooth’ when shooting timelapse. The addition of a small RAW file size allows you to shoot 12-bit uncompressed RAW files that are much smaller than the regular full-sized RAW files.

Tapi sangat menakjubkan ketika saya memotret 11 file RAW fps tanpa pernah stop untuk buffering. Prosesor EXPEED 4 yang membawa perubahan besar di D4s. Prosesor EXPEED 4 membuat D4s memiliki ISO range yang lebih lebar. Kamera ini bisa memotret dengan ISO aslinya di range 10025.600 bahkan mencapai range 50-409.600. Pengurangan blackout time pada viewfinder, membuat transisi lebih halus pada saat memotret time-lapse. Tambahan RAW file kecil mempermudah kita untuk memotret file 12-bit uncompressed RAW yang lebih kecil dari file RAW yang umumnya. Even though I’m primarily a photographer, I tried to test out some video’s capabilities of the D4S. The biggest changes are the addition


of 50 and 60 frames per second in full HD 1080p quality, as well as the ability to select between full frame (FX), crop sensor (DX), and 2.7x crop while in live view. Movie aficionados will also enjoy the ability to use Auto ISO when using manual exposure, audio range and level adjustment, and the ability to output uncompressed video over HDMI while simultaneously recording to a memory card. Walaupun saya pada dasarnya adalah seorang fotografer, saya mencoba beberapa kemampuan video D4s. Perubahan terbesarnya adalah tambahan 50 dan 60 frame per detik dalam kualitas full HD 1080p , kemampuan untuk memilih full frame (FX), crop sensor (DX) dan 2.7x crop pada saat live view. Para pencinta video akan sangat menikmati fasilitas Auto ISO saat manual exposure, audio range dan level adjustment, serta kemampuan untuk menghasilkan video HDMI yang belum dikompresi bersamaan saat merekam ke kartu memori.

He began photography in 2009. In 2010, he started a workshop called “Sense of Colours” Since then, the participants of the workshop has reached more than 1,500 people. Due to the success of that workshop, he created another called “Toxic”, in which until now, the participants has reached more than 400 people. Both workshops not only attracted participants from many provinces of Indonesia, but also those from Malaysia, Singapore and India.

Ia memulai fotografi pada tahun 2009. Pada tahun 2010 membuat workshop berjudul “Sense of Colours”. sampai saat ini, peserta yang pernah mengikuti kelas workshop tersebut telah mencapai lebih dari 1500 orang. Kemudian melanjutkan kesuksesan workshop tersebut, dia membuat workshop berjudul “Toxic”, yang sampai saat ini pesertanya mencapai lebih dari 400 orang. Peserta tersebut tidak hanya berasal dari beberapa propinsi di indonesia tapi juga merambah sampai negara Malaysia, Singapura dan India.

Jakarta, Indonesia Antonius Widya Ismael was born in Jakarta, September 17th 1975. He developed an interest in art at a very young age, since his parents were hosting a traditional dancing & painting studio at their house. He was introduced to photography in his high school years and then he went to RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) taken Bachelor of Art in Photography studies.

Antonius Widya Ismael lahir di Jakarta, 17 September 1975. Sejak muda Anton Ismael sudah tertarik pada dunia seni, orangtuanya memiliki sanggar tari dan lukisan di rumahnya. Anton diperkenalkan pada dunia fotografi sejak masih di SMA, kemudian ia melanjutkan ke RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) jurusan fotografi.

He started his career as a professional photographer in 2000 and then later he worked his way to commercial photography. He has also worked with many fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Amica, Dewi, and other magazines like Rolling Stone & Versus Magazine.

Ia memulai profesinya sebagai fotografer professional pada tahun 2000, dan kemudian melanjutkan menjadi fotografer komersil. Ia juga bekerja sama dengan berbagai majalah fashion antara lain Harper’s Bazaar, Amica, Dewi, juga majalah lainnya antara lain Rolling Stone & Versus Magazine.

He enjoys mixing media, like using watercolor paint with his photographs, he has done several artworks involving visual projection & installation in exhibitions around Jakarta. He also loves to work with motion pictures and stop motions. Nowadays we can see music videos & TV commercials that he directed playing on local television.

Ia suka menggabungkan beberapa media dalam karyanya, misalnya penggunaann cat air pada karya fotonya, beberapa artwork yang berhubungan dengan seni visual dan Instalasi untuk pameran di sekitar juga dikerjakan. Ia juga suka bekerja dengan gambar-gambar bergerak dan gambar tidak bergerak. Saat ini kita dapat menikmai berbagai video music dan iklan iklan TV local yang di arahkan olehnya.

In 2005, Anton dare himself to start his own photography studio named “Third Eye Studio.” Third Eye is known as the inner eye that symbolizes a state of enlightenment or evocation of mental images, it also has deeply personal spiritual or physiological significance.

KelasPagi become a place for Anton Ismael to share his knowledge to those who are interested in learning more about photography. This free-of-charge course obliged its student to complete a one-year curriculum ended with a closing exhibition. Seiring degan berjalannya Third Eye Studio, memungkinkan Anton untuk mengadakan kelas fotografi yang di beri nama “ KelasPagi�. KelasPagi merupakan satu wadah bagi Anton untuk berbagi pengetahuannya bagi yang ingin belajar lebih banyak mengenai fotografi. Program kelas ini tidak dikenakan biaya, namun para siswa diwajibkan untuk menyelesaikannya program selama 1 tahun dan di akhiri dengan pameran foto.

Enrich the Idea. Browse some books or magazine about lighting, posing, hair styling, make up, editing, etc. The more you see the more you get to build your concept.

2.

Build the concept. Fashion photography is obviously a team of fashion designer, make up artist, hair stylish, stylish and lighting assistants. Suggestion & idea are opened, but be sure you take control of it.

Engage the model. Don’t forget to communicate & make the subject feels comfortable and involved. You can direct ff-magazine

Get the model moving. Posing is beautiful, but moving is another challange to get stronger image.

Break the rules. You must know the rule in order to break it.

Eksperimen pencahayaan. Cahaya alami, cahaya flash, lampu bohlam atau lampu stuido, bisa anda pilih dan menggabungkannya. Anda dapat mengatur pemotretan dengan mengatur kecepatan lebih lama dari biasanya dan mendapatkan bias cahaya. Cahaya menciptakan drama!

Manny Librodo started to like photography since 1997, in which during the time, he practiced travel photography. In 2001, he won a photography competition that encouraged him into grasping photography as a profession. He deepens his skills through questions and discussions with other fellow photographers. Photography became a part of him, and a necessity that cannot be live without.

Awal mula Manny Librodo mulai menyukai fotografi sejak tahun 1997, pada saat itu ia banyak memotret travel fotografi dan kemudian setelah tahun 2001, ia memenangkan sebuah kompetisi fotografi. Sejak itu ia semakin serius menekuni fotografi. Ia terus medalami dunia fotografi secara otodidak dan dengan cara banyak bertanya dan berdiskusi terhadap sesama fotografer. Bagi dirinya fotografi sudah menjadi sebuah kebutuhan yang sangat mendasar dan sudah tidak bisa ditinggalkan. ff-magazine

Librodo majored in History and minored in psycholoy, receiving Bachelor of Arts & Social Science degree. He taught psychology at Ruamrudee International School in Bangkok, Thailand for 12 years. Since then, he began to photograph his students while incorporating certain concepts into his works.

Because he is well-rounded when it comes to psychology, it is natural for him to push emotions into, and pull emotions out of those who enjoys his works. His main inspiration has been his own brother, Jose Librodo, an art teacher and Steve McCurry, a travelling photographer. Latar belakang pendidikannya sebagai Bachelor of Art & Social Science mendalami History, khususnya psikologi. Ia mengajar pskiologi di Ruamrudee International School di Bangkok, Thailand selama 12 tahun. Dan pada saat itu ia mulai memotret muridmuridnya dan kemudian berkembang memotret dengan menggunakan konsep-konsep tertentu.

Manny Librodo yang saat ini menjadi duta SONY Philippine selalu mempunyai prinsip untuk memotret dengan hati, ia menyarankan untuk tidak terlalu sibuk dengan peralatanperalatan kamera sampai kita lupa untuk memotret dengan hati.
