PNC FIESTA BOWL PAR 3 CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY CHAPMAN AUTOMOTIVE
The PNC Fiesta Bowl Par 3 Challenge presented by Chapman Automotive is a three-day annual hole-in-one contest unlike any other. Played at the breathtaking Short Course at Mountain Shadows, it is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year with all proceeds supporting Fiesta Bowl Charities. In this scramble style tournament, foursomes compete for closest-to-the-pin and hole-in-one prizes on every hole, including cash, cars and experiences. After every round, one golfer had a chance to putt for $10,000, followed by four golfers taking a shot for $1 million. 40 • Fiesta Bowl
The Media Shootout paired eight media personalities with nonprofits for a closest-to-the-pin competition. Participating nonprofits were in attendance to cheer on their golfer: Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus Pine Council, Special Olympics Arizona, A New Leaf, Southwest Human Development, Homeward Bound, Child Crisis Arizona and Junior Achievement Arizona. Scott Pasmore from Arizona’s Family 3TV had the winning shot, which resulted in $2,000 for Child Crisis Arizona.
