YOUTH NEW! Superhero Programming
An introduction to coding and robotics by creating animations, games, music, and videos of superheroes. Students will develop into logical thinkers, problem solvers, and creators through imaginative coding projects using Scratch. Students will collaborate and share projects online with real-time coding using the Micro:bit, a mini robot. Groups will be divided by age and skill level. No prior coding experience needed. Youth Soccer
The “all ball” approach will foster skill improvement and build player confidence. NEW! Creative Robotics & Engineering
Students in this class will focus on engineering, physical science, technology, mathematics, and language projects. Hummingbird Kits and a Micro:bit programmable micro-computer will be used to unleash their creativity to craft robots and animate them by using both block and text-based coding languages. Students will use VEXcode VR to code a virtual robot, which will teach them about project flow, loops, conditionals, and algorithms. Groups will be divided by age and skill level. Red Tiger Karate - Juniors
This white through black belt program teaches American Karate as well as anti-abduction and bully self-defense.
