Thus, right at the start of its market launch, close relationships were established with long-standing partners - including Royal Fruitmasters (Netherlands), Melinda - La Trentina (Italy), AFG - an association of major Styrian apple producers (Austria), Fructícola Empordà (Spain), MEV - Märkische Erzeuger- und Vermarktungsorganisation GmbH (Germany), and VM Marketing (Italy). Further negotiations are underway in Germany, France, the United States and the Southern Hemisphere.

Thanks to its sweetness, aroma, firm consistency and appealing shape, it is well received by customers. In the Middle East and Asia, Tessa® already successfully toured outside Europe in 2021. With a crop of 6,5000 tons of high-quality apples, Tessa® easily meets consumer demand. This compares to 3,450 tons in the previous year. This means that the harvest in Europe has almost doubled in a very short time - and the trend is upwards. The company also plans to make a big splash with the club apple in the future: Its cultivation area is to be increased by 100 hectares per year to raise total production to the currently 350 hectares by and 1,000 hectares by 2030. The brand benefits from the apple‘s producer-friendly growing characteristics and long shelf life, which mean great potential for the global market!

Tessa® put on an energetic brand performance on the supermarket shelf

It shines from all sides in the fruit assortment. Its sustainable packaging design skillfully catches the eye of customers. With their perfect proportions and characteristic red color, Tessa® apples are a real eye-catcher on the shelf. The new packaging can now be purchased in addition to the familiar trays for four, six or eight apples and the boxes at the point of sale. The brand is also successively introducing compostable logo stickers.
