Provided solid proof of energy saving from facade design, the biggest contribution in winning the project. Developed interoperability workflow during SD, ensuring a detailed documentation which thoroughly conveys the design intent. Resolved facade details and code alginment issues concerning facade design.

Developed interoperability workflow and managed BIM coordination through DD. Crafted curtain wall panel families for Rupp Arena facade, and composed Grasshopper/Dynamo/ Python scripts for generating, updating and revising the curtain wall panels. Coordinated with structure and facade consultants on solutions to realize the complex geometries in the facade design. Developed typical details as well as critical connections.

Parametric Structure Solution photoshop file included 100% black and white registration swatches to calibrate the grasshopper value sampling process and maintain consistency between multiple options
Photoshop to Rhino with real time image mapping Panel types are driven by a image created with Photoshop that is referenced into the Grasshopper definition. Panel variations and opening sizes can be “painted” onto the unrolled surfaces - each time the image file is saved, Grasshopper updates the window distribution. CONCEPT & RESEARCH: Our concept was to use agents as tiny pellets to bombard a simple chunk of solid from various directions and under various force fields. We set a rule that allowed the pellets to bounce at most 5 times onto the object, with a power falloff after each time until they eventually diminished, resulting in complex geometry never achievable using other methods.

Our team introduced multiple hierarchies of agents with different designed behaviors, creating a geometry that showed a clear marco flow with intense local details. Different materials were then given to these hierarchies to create this nebulus visualization.

RISE AND FALL OF USURPER A MOD OF SID MEIER’S CIVILIZATION VI PROJECT YEAR: 2017-2019
As a big fan of the famous digital board game Sid Meier’s Civilization series and GRRM’s epic fantasy A Song of Ice and Fire, I created contents of a 9-Leader-Mod-Package themed “Robert’s Rebellion“. In addition to designing the unique traits of the 9 great houses and leaders, I also composed XML database entries as well as lua scripts for the unique trait functionalities. I also modeled the unique districts, buildings, improvements, units and the leaders out of Zbrush, Maya, Rhino and Blender, rigged animations using Blender. This Mod currently has 11,698 subscribers and was played by renowned streamers such as Spiffing Brit. PROJECT METROPOLIS A MOD OF SID MEIER’S CIVILIZATION VI PROJECT YEAR: 2021
Many Civ players enjoy building large cities, including myself. To expand the sprawl from the limits of the original game, I created this Mod that introduces 9 new minor districts (named Quarters). In addition to the functional XML and lua coding, I created all the culturally accurate landmark models for each of the quarter type. For example, if you play China, you will see pitched roof wood buildings, but if you play Rome you will see all mediterranean building blocks instead. This Mod currently has 7,219 subscribers.
