We celebrate the Louis Vuitton S/S’25 collection at Joshua Tree.

STEPHEN KAMIFUJI CREATIVE DIRECTOR’S NOTE

Before I share about the unfortunate circumstance of making this issue, let me share a few highlights, beginning with our cover shoot with the beautiful model Mariana Downing. We photographed Mariana at Joshua Tree National Park, one of our favorite backdrops a few hours from LA, where the landscapes from every angle are other-worldly. At times, the desert heat can be merciless, soaring above 115 degrees. Fortunately—save for some threatening clouds—the weather played nice, though we were rolling the dice on another front.

Full transparency: we tried to get a permit to shoot there, but apparently DOGE may have dismantled the department, so it was impossible to get anyone on the phone. Instead, we opted for Rear Admiral Grace Hopper’s notable axiom, “It is better to ask for forgiveness than permission,” and sheepishly loaded up the 36-foot motorhome with our photo team headed by Tracey Morris, and the Louis Vuitton Spring/

successfully (p86).

Summer ’25 collection and successfully forged ahead

Meanwhile, in New York, our Executive Fashion Editor, Mindy Saad, teamed up with photographer John Van Der Schilden (such a regal name, isn’t it?) on a beautiful studio shoot, Sheer Genius, featuring models Adeng, Industry NY, and Toei, with Wilhelmina, NY (p62).

In predictable style, product shooter James T. Murray and stylist Yuco Lacovara produced stunning images, compositing AI-created backgrounds with his real-life jewelry shots (p38).

In our “Ones to Watch” department, photographer Robert Lynden photographed actress Madison Elise Rogers (her first interview and shoot). Her breakout role is as a woman of the night in 1923, the Paramount+ prequel to Yosemite. Makeup artist Amy Chance and hairstylist Robert Steinken were on glam, both repped by the Celestine Agency (thank you, Frank Moore).

When Madison shared that she was from a tiny town in Tennessee and that her go-to charity was caring for and fostering animals, I took to AI to assist in creating a Land of Oz backdrop (p48).

from a tiny town

Our other “Ones to Watch” actor is also another Madison, Madison Shamoun. She has two series acting roles in her IMDB. Her latest is as Kriska Thompson in the tubi comedy series Z-Suite. Photographers Gabriela Oltean, Glen Dandridge, and stylist Jaclyn Eve descended on beautiful Downtown Burbank to the Amarano Hotel—a precious luxury boutique hotel. Veteran hair/makeup artist Barbara Lamelza pulled out her M.A.C. cosmetics and Giovanni haircare to beautify our stunning UCLA Bruin alum (p54).

When our publicist friend Jennifer Gardner told us about a kitschy, fun indoor mini-golf place in Santa Monica called Holey Moley—I took brilliant fashion shooter Holly Parker and super stylist Lisa Smith

Craig, along with makeup artist Monique Mazer and hairstylist Robert Steinken, plus models Brooke Makenzi and Sierra Bloom, both with Wilhelmina, to capture the colorful moments (p76).

And now, the “bad news.” Last week, while scrambling to finish this issue, I had a jewelry shoot with Andrew Matusik, so I took along my external hard drive to work on my files at his studio. In my haste, I hadn’t backed up and, well, you know the rest. Hard drives hate being dropped, and the entire issue was on it. I took it to a data recovery place and begged them to restore my files, and without knowing if I’d ever get them back, I spent the next 48 hours straight (thanks to all who resent their work) rebuilding the magazine that you’re now holding. Truth be told: as unfortunate as the situation was, I enjoyed every second of doing it all over again.

LONG BEFORE WARHOL, THE OG WORKSHOP OF CREATIVITY LIVED HERE AT ASNIERES—ATELIER AND HOME OF LOUIS VUITTON —STEPHEN KAMIFUJI

Welcome to Asnières-surSeine, the effortlessly sophisticated Parisian suburb and epicenter where Louis Vuitton’s legacy is preserved —and perfected—a sacrosanct sanctum where the coveted trunks are manifested with the precision of a Swiss horologist. Each LV piece is a love letter to us, inscribed in the lexicon of craftsmanship, innovation, and the exhilarating frisson of belonging to a coterie of the enlightened.

Ah, Paris, the city of dreams—once the cerebral repository of maestro Louis Vuitton’s visionary aspirations. By 1854, he transcended

“EACH LV PIECE IS A LOVE LETTER TO US, INSCRIBED IN THE LEXICON OF CRAFTSMANSHIP, INNOVATIO, AND THE EXHILARATING FRISSON OF BELONGING TO A COTERIE OF THE ENLIGHTENED.”

mere trunkmaking to emerge as a luminary, self-anointed as a “packer of fashions”—the progenitor of modern influence. His innovations? The flat-topped trunk, waterproof Trianon canvas, and the Damier check—a triumvirate of ingenuity that left competitors in his stardust. His 1859 relocation to Asnières was a masterstroke (albeit serendipitous) of strategic acumen, leveraging railways and rivers to establish Louis Vuitton’s global distribution nexus.

Today, the workshop resonates with the olfactory signature of poplar and leather—a sensory testament to LV’s enduring allure.

“I FELT KIND OF ODD AS A CHILD AND CONNECTED SO MUCH WITH HIS WORK. MY SISTERS LOVED HIM, TOO. WE WERE JUST LIKE THE BIGGEST TIM BURTON FANS EVER IF I EVER HAVE THE CHANCE TO WORK WITH HIM... I CAN’T EVEN IMAGINE.“

Your GPS: I’m in my new Sherman Oaks apartment.

You’re wearing? A cardigan and a pair of Soffe shorts.

Fashion vibe? I’m a big thrifter. I love when I might be the only one with a special piece. I love vintage—that’s what I like to wear mostly.

Your beginnings? I was raised in a very small town called La Grange, Tennessee, where I went to a little Montessori school. I was homeschooled when I was six, seven, and eight. There weren’t any really great public schools in the area, and my Mom was a stay-at-home mom, so it worked out. I hated going back to public school when we moved to Memphis.

Any siblings? Yes, I have two younger sisters.

Early challenges? Going to public school for the first time was very challenging for me. I remember having to fill in a Scantron on my first day. You’re supposed to fill in the bubbles, but I was checkmarking them. My teacher called me up to the front, saying you must fill in the bubble. And I just lost it. I was terrified and started crying. I remember thinking, how am I going to get through this? So it was difficult for a long time. I would write on a dry-erase board, ‘Please Homeschool Me Mom’.

You’re Shy? I was and still am very, very shy.

Bullying experience? Oh, yeah. I feel like I had a target on my back for bullying. I was bullied for what I wore, for what I said,

just about everything! I was bullied a little bit in ninth grade, and then I ended up switching schools because of it.

Your passion? I’ve been obsessed with acting since I was eight years old. I knew it was something that I would make a part of my life.

Best advice? When I was a senior in high school, my acting teacher said, maybe you should think about going to Los Angeles and train, audition, and see what it’s like. So my Mom—who’s very supportive—helped me move to LA when I was 18.

Acting school? I studied at New Collective. It was very methody school. I loved it and would go five days a week. It helped me understand acting on other levels and helped me figure out my own technique and how I prepare for roles.

First gig? A commercial for Consumer Cellular. It was my first paid job.

Rejection armor? Yes, being an actor sets you up for rejection. It’s a normal part of it. It wasn’t easy at first, but now I try not to get too attached to something I’m auditioning for. I just audition, let it go, try to forget about it, and if something comes from it, great. If something doesn’t, it just doesn’t. It’s fine. Something else is meant to be.

Spiritual life? I consider myself a spiritual person and not religious. My Mom is Jewish, and my Dad is Catholic. So, yes, I celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah. I do both, which was great as a kid.

Big break? I’m on a show called 1923. It’s a prequel to Yellowstone. I play a woman named Lindy, who is in a very unconventional relationship with a very wealthy, powerful man. I got the job via a request for a selftape audition that I did. Maybe three weeks later, I found out that I got it. I flew to Montana and filmed a couple of episodes of season one. And I didn’t know if the character would be in the next season. So it’s all been very exciting. So now I’m on season two. Episode one just premiered on Sunday.

ON RUBY: GUESS ECO FLORAL ACTIVE TOP $39; GUESS ECO FLORAL LEGGINGS $49; AND GUESS FAUX-LEATHER JACKET, $79, GUESS.COM

Premiere showing? Yes, it was my very first premiere! So it was kind of chaotic. I didn’t know what to expect, but it was so much fun.

1923 memory? I was waiting for my flight to Butte, Montana, where we filmed. I look over, and maybe five seats away is Timothy Dalton. I had my script open and thinking, is this him? And then he turned and looked my way, saw my script, and I saw him looking at his script, and we just like pointed at each other, and we’re like, you, no way. So then we had a moment together where we just talked. So, it was nice to take away the intimidating factor. It was gone.

Beauty regimen? Oh, I love skincare! I really like Tatcha. I love Rice Milk Cleanser. And then I have a lot of things from The Ordinary. I love when my face just feels hydrated. It’s just a great feeling for me. And then I also love makeup and have way too much of it. When it comes to lip liner, I’m a bit of

an addict. I have like a hundred lipliners. My favorite is from Hourglass.

Favorite lipstick? One from CHANEL that I love.

Best trait? I’m a very loyal friend. I really love my friends and I’m always going to be very supportive of them.

Your heroes? My Mom, and, okay, definitely Tim Burton. I felt kind of odd as a child and connected so much with his work. My sisters loved him, too. We were just like the biggest Tim Burton fans ever. If I ever have the chance to work with him...I can’t even imagine.

Favorite movie? My favorite movie of all time is Edward Scissorhands.

Good manifester? I do think so. I feel like everything’s in alignment with myself and my path. I don’t know; everything that comes to me just makes sense to me.

Give back? I’m very passionate about animals, especially cats. I love them! So, any animal charity is important to me. Right now, I’m looking for an animal to foster.

Your playlist? I’m one of those people who listen to the same songs repeatedly, but I love Frank Sinatra and Lana Del Rey. Something about 50s music feels very nostalgic and comforting to me. My Dad only watched black and white films, so maybe it brings me back to a special time.

Last words? You’re my first interview and my first photo shoot, so thank you! G

“I’VE BEEN AVOIDING WATCHING WHITE LOTUS. I’M WAITING FOR ALL THE EPISODES TO COME OUT SO I CAN BINGE THEM LIKE I WOULD BINGE A WHOLE BAG OF CHIPS—IN ONE SITTING. THAT’S THE TYPE OF PERSON I AM.”

Your GPS? I’m in my house in LA, sitting at my island in my kitchen next to this really delicious, leisurely Muse candle that I lit for good vibes.

Your wearing? I’m in a hoodie that I got with my mom. She grew up in Vermont, so it’s a green University of Vermont hoodie. I’m wearing my very favorite Beyoncé concert T-shirt and some Lululemon joggers. I usually just wear socks around the house so I can slip and slide around.

Describe yourself? In five words, I’m a leader, curious, dynamic, consistent, and ambitious.

Your passion? Besides acting, I’m most passionate about storytelling in whatever way, shape, or form. I did a lot of performative sports and hobbies when I was younger, which transformed into theater on the stage and musical theater.

Alma mater? I went to UCLA and studied acting there.

Current project? I play a character named Kriska Thompson on The Z Suite. It’s tubi’s new original half-hour in-house comedy show. It’s a workplace comedy that captures the divide between Gen Z and Gen X. It’s starring Lauren Graham, Nico Santos, and me.

First series? No, this is my second time being top-three billing on a show. I was on The Lake, the Amazon Prime video show with Julia Stiles.

Guilty pleasure? Currently, it’s French Fries from everywhere, anywhere. Canada has the best McDonald’s fries and A&W fries. If I’m being super real with you, I love reality TV. It’s my escape. It’s my junk food. So I’ve been binging Love is Blind.

Ketchup dipper? You know, I’m not a huge fan. Something must

have happened with me and ketchup when I was a child. Because when I smell it and see it, I have a visceral reaction to it. I’m more of a barbecue sauce girl.

Your childhood? It was good. I moved a lot because my parents were just funny. They wanted to explore new places.

Setting roots? Once I went to college, I continued to move a lot. I studied abroad in Paris for months and lived there. Then, I lived in New York for a time, moved back to LA, and I’ve been in Canada for a few months every year. I was in Brooklyn for a bit, so I have carried that torch of constantly moving.

Binge-watching? The Kate Hudson show on Netflix, Running Point. I’ve been avoiding watching White Lotus. I’m waiting for all the episodes to come out so I can binge them like I would binge a whole bag of chips—in one sitting. That’s the type of person I am.

Karaoke song? I will go to some Beyoncé, I love Hold Up, and I love her song with Ed Sheeran. I’ll do Billie Eilish if it’s a moody, dark karaoke bar vibe, and I’ve been loving Sabrina Carpenter because all her songs are lively, pop, and loud.

Beauty secret? I drink a lot of liquids and hydrate on a cellular level. If I’m not getting a lot of sleep—which happens when you work in this job—then to combat puffiness or that dehydrated look, I drink a lot of water and electrolytes, potassium, and magnesium. I feel like my skin looks better when I get all that good stuff.

Beauty products? I love this brand called Living Libations. And I love this other brand called Eminence ‘cause I’m kind of a clean girly, so I like to use all organic, natural products.

Spirit animal? A cat, for sure. They’re very independent. They want you when they want you, and they can take care of themselves. I’m definitely a bit of a feline.

Any pets? I have a cat named Arthur, who I rescued. I grew up with a lot of animals. Our family back home has two dogs, four cats, chickens, and peacocks.

Favorite getaway? Ooh, I love New York. If I have a free weekend, I like to go there, see a Broadway show, get some good Italian food, get my 20,000 steps in a day, and see my friends.

Best trait? I’m a big sister in my family. I like to take care of people and show up for them. I’m protective and supportive. I think my friends would say that I show up for them.

DNA change? Sometimes, my OCD can get the better of me, so I’d love to be able to relax more and surrender and let go.

Latest obsession? Making a good matcha latte. I bought all the different tools and types of matcha. I’ve been playing around with the various ratios to get it perfect.

Unusual talent? I can hum and whistle at the same time. I’ve been doing that since elementary school.

ON RUBY: GUESS ECO FLORAL ACTIVE TOP $39; GUESS ECO FLORAL LEGGINGS $49; AND GUESS FAUX-LEATHER JACKET, $79, GUESS.COM

Switch places? I love Beyoncé. She’s got the most fabulous closet, and she’s always boppin’ around. I’d love to wake up as her and just see where she’s at in the world that day.

Biggest regret? I believe in the butterfly effect in a way. What’s meant to be will be. Who knows if I’d be exactly here, right now, talking to you if I had regrets?

Risk taker? I’m like a controlled and calculated risk-taker. I’m type A, so I’m very organized, purposeful, and deliberate. I make a lot of lists. Once I know what outcomes are possible, I’ll take the leap. I love heights, and I’ve gone hot air ballooning, bungee jumping, ziplining, and flying in a helicopter. Last week, I played with wolves. In April I’m going skydiving.

Great escape? I went to an elephant sanctuary in Thailand, where we fed and cared for the elephants for the day. You have to ride them bareback without a harness up the mountain to get to the spring, where they can be cleaned and drink water.

Embarrassing moment? On my last show, I had taken a nap during lunch, woke up, and walked outta my trailer wearing just my underwear. I had forgotten to put my pants on! I got to the hair and makeup trailer, and they were like, um, do you want pants? And I was like, oh my God, yes I do. And I ran back and put some pants on.

Your playlist? Oh, well, postSuper Bowl. I’ve been re-listening to all things Kendrick Lamar, of course. A little bit of Bad Bunny, Doechii. And then SZA, of course. I’m also a show tunes girly, so I’ve been really into Sunset Boulevard, the Nicole Scherzinger cool musical.

Favorite charity? I love the LaBelle Foundation in LA. They are an animal rescue shelter, so mostly dogs and animals that have been surrendered or are about to be put down. I’ve fostered dogs and helped them find forever homes alongside the LaBelle Foundation.

Five years? I hope to be living bi-coastally in New York and LA and working on projects I’m passionate about with people I love, and we’re telling stories that are important to us, and I hope that everyone in my life is healthy and happy. G

A LOVE LETTER TO NURSE FREAKING JAMIE!

BARREL ON MY BABY!

Stupid, silly, fattening and never will that barrel stay barreled after ONE wash... NEVER!! Wrong, wrong and wrong! Not only is it slimming in a pretty fashion-forward way... they look so good dressed up and dressed way down. From Amazon to Alaia, this jean trend is here to stay... at least through 2025! My personal fav is the Free People, $98. ( freepeople.com ) I just ordered the LOEWE pink cotton for spring, $1300 ( loewe.com ), and thinking about the Alaia, $989, (alaia.com ), just to mix it up!!

I went to see the famous Nurse Jamie a couple of months ago... ONLY to walk out of her office looking like a million dollars! I have not had time to go back, but remembered a couple of days ago that she gave me, The Nurse Jamie UPLIFT. I have noticed in photos lately that certain areas of my face look puffier than others, then... it hit me like a ton of BRICKS!!! That's what the UPLIFT is for! To move and flush this nasty, unsightly, and VERY unwanted fluid that is making my face look not only unsymmetrical... but a heck of a lot older. This morning, I finally pulled the magical lil roller out and got to town... yep, IT WORKS!!! I am actually beside myself with JOY this morning... because not only does it work... but it's so simple, painless and it's NOT surgery!

THE LOUIS VUITTON CAPUCINES: A LEATHER-BOUND REBELLION IN THE AGE OF SILICON

At a time where algorithms dictate desire and AI threatens to turn luxury into a mass-produced farce, the Louis Vuitton Capucines bag stands as a leather-bound rebellion—a time machine disguised as an accessory, a portal to when craftsmanship was king and robots were relegated to the realm of science fiction. ➢

SHOPGENLUX

Imagine a young Louis Vuitton in 1854, setting up shop on Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, blissfully unaware that his name would one day be uttered with the same reverence as holy scripture in the church of high fashion. Fast forward to 2025, and we find ourselves face-to-face with the Capucines, a bag that carries more history than your great-grandmother’s hope chest and twice the style.

In an ironic twist that would make even Oscar Wilde raise an eyebrow, this paragon of old-world craftsmanship finds itself at the forefront of the resistance against the AI revolution. While silicon chips threaten to replace human hands, the Capucines stands as a leather-clad middle finger to the notion that luxury can be reduced to ones and zeros.

Each Capucines is a symphony of 250 elements. These bags aren’t born; they’re orchestrated by skilled artisans who master the painstaking steps required to craft each uniquely bespoke handbag.

The Taurillon leather, carefully selected and treated, is like a fine wine—it gets better with age, and develops a patina over time, telling stories like the moss-covered stone walls of a Tuscan village.

SHOPGENLUX

THE ARTIST’S HANDS THE LOUIS VUITTON TEAM CAREFULLY AND METICULOUSLY CRAFT THE TAURILLON LEATHER AND DURABLE HARDWARE INTO CAPUCINES BAGS. WORKS OF ART—MADE TO LAST FOR GENERATIONS.

SOME CAPUCINES BBS FROM L-R: 1. M24976, $6750; 2. LV X TM M14100, $7800; 3. LV X TM, M13253, $7450; 4. M23845, $10,500; 5. M21043, $6750; 6. M24233, $7000, LOUIS VUITTON BOUTIQUES, AND LOUISVUITTON.COM

The Capucines bag comes in a range of sizes, each with its own personality: Capucines MINI : For those who believe good things come in small packages and aren’t compensating for anything, thank you very much. Capucines BB : This size is the sweet spot. Not too big, not too small, it’s juuuust right. The BB lets you carry your essentials with style and a touch of playfulness. It’s the Goldilocks of handbags! With a cute top handle and a longer strap for when you need to be hands-free, it’s ready for anything from brunch to a gallery hop. And, the Capucines MM : Because sometimes you need to carry more than just your ego.

All three sizes offer more versatility than a Swiss Army knife, transforming from hand to arm to shoulder to crossbody with ease.

In an age where ‘luxury’ is often just a fancy font on a mass-produced label, the Capucines remains steadfastly, almost stubbornly, authentic. It’s like finding a unicorn in a field of My Little Ponies, a Stradivarius at a garage sale.

The ArtyCapucines collection takes this rebellion a step further, turning the bag into a canvas for artistic expression. In the end, owning a Capucines is like carrying a piece of the Louvre on your arm— if the Louvre were made of leather and could hold your lipstick. It’s a statement, a companion, a confidante, and quite possibly the only inanimate object that could give you a run for your money in a battle of wits.

So, as AI threatens to turn us all into perfectly optimized, soulless automatons, the Capucines stands as a beacon of imperfect, glorious humanity. A silent protest against the tyranny of the algorithm.

As our tech giants race towards General Intelligence, the Capucines dares to be beautifully, irresistibly human. And in that, dear friends, lies its true luxury—and its most delicious irony. G

The Vitamin of Youth

I want to share my favorite items that will bring out your best holiday glow. You’re also in luck if you’re still searching for the perfect gift for the skincare aficionado in your life. - Ninka B - Genlux Beauty Advisor & Aesthetician @ninkabskin

Vitamin C is called the vitamin of youth—one of the most effective and best-studied skin rejuvenating ingredients. It quickly brings visible results by improving the quality and appearance of the skin. Because of its truly amazing skin benefits, it’s an irreplaceable part of your daily skincare regimen. Below are the five most important facts that you should know about vitamin C. -Ninka B @ninkabskin

BEST UNDER EYE PATCHES

1. ANTI-AGING ACTION

I’m often asked how to effectively hydrate the thin skin around the eyes. It’s prone to dehydration, making it hard to treat effectively. My go-to favorite

The Blossoming Glow

Spring brings the spirit of renewal. The skin and its renewal process brings a fresh glow to the surface. When working with our skin and the right products, you can reveal your best skin yet. I’m sharing my must-haves with you! - Ninka Baprawska, aesthetician advisor at GENLUX Beauty

1.TONER WITH ACIDS!

Toners can come in many forms, and since we are in the theme of renewal, I will focus on a toner formulated with AHA’s and BHA’s acids. Apply the ZO Skin Health by Zein Obagi Renewal Pads after cleansing in the morning and evening. The pad exfoliates dryness and dullness and helps to bring fresh skin cells to the surface. My favorite acids are Glycolic and Salicylic. Glycolic Acid works on the surface to brighten, and Salicylic Acid works within the pore, clearing and preventing acne and congestion such as blackheads. This acid duo also works anti-aging, making the surface of your skin smooth and ready for serums!

Ninka B. recommends: ZO Skin Health by Zein Obagi Renewal Pads, $63, zoskinhealth.com

3. AT HOME PEEL!

Treating your skin to a safe and effective at-home peel will keep your skin in tip-top shape. You can do this between your regular facial appointments to ensure your skin keeps the afterglow. The iS Clinical Active Peel System consists of 2 Steps. The 1st step gently and effectively exfoliate with a blend of acids. The 2nd step will neutralize and, at the same time, provide nourishment to your skin. One of my favorite ingredients in the 2nd step is the Copper Tripeptide-1. Copper peptides are a brilliant invention of cosmetic chemists and incredible for the skin!

Ninka B. recommends: iS Clinical Active Peel System, $96 dermstore.com

2.TREATMENT MASK!

I love having special treats for my skin in my beauty cabinet—something I can pick up when the skin appears fatigued and needs extra vitality. Treatment masks are one of the best things to do to add radiance, as they have fast-acting ingredients. The Valmont Renewing Pack rebalancing treatment mask gives skin an instant beauty boost. Apply a thicker layer of the mask for 20-30 minutes or a couple of times a week as a sleeping mask. Voilà! Your skin will thank you. Ninka B. recommends: Valmont Prime Renewing Pack, $280, lamaisonvalmont.com

4. COLLAGEN SUPPORT!

Certain

skincare ingredients work like magic! It’s all about the quality of ingredients. I have always been a fan of peptides. There are many di erent types of peptides, each with a specific function. The Le Mieux Collagen Peptide Serum contains Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, which stimulates elastin production essential for skin firmness. Another highlight of this particular peptide is brightening the skin by inhibiting the production of uneven pigment. Renew and rejuvenate your skin with wonderful serum! Ninka B. recommends: Le Mieux Collagen Peptide Serum, $95, lemieuxskincare.com

Taking care of the skin is an ongoing balancing act. It’s essential to keep the cell renewal up to speed. At the same time, treating the skin to much-needed nourishment with serum or a treatment mask. Wishing you a blossoming Spring! - Ninka

Mountain Majesties

Rugged peaks frame my unforgettable experience at the Dolomites. —Samia Arslane

The Dolomites are an enchanted place when seeking natural beauty, adventure, and cultural depth. It’s where rugged peaks and rich traditions converge to create a profoundly out-ofthis-world experience. The area is influenced by both Italian and Tyrolean traditions, which are reflected in the region’s languages, cuisine, and festivals. In 2009, UNESCO recognized the Dolomites as a World Heritage Site, celebrating their natural beauty and geological significance.

MUST STAY:

My hotel pick is the Chalet Mirabell. It embodies the spirit of the Dolomites, blending relaxation, luxury, and adventure. It provides a memorable setting for those seeking to connect with nature and experience the unique culture of the Italian Alps in a secluded, serene environment. hotel-chaletmirabell.com

is a masterpiece of indulgence, where every bite was a de light. Fluffy, golden waffles drizzled with rich syrup, artisanal cheeses, and an array of Alpine specialties—all paired with the aroma of freshly baked bread. Each morning felt like the beginning of a new culinary adventure—an irresistible way to start the day.

MUST

DINE:

Unique dining with llamas is an unforgettable experience. The beautiful llamas, both inside and outside the dining area, made for a magical and surreal atmosphere that was fun and strangely peaceful.

MUST GIVE:

Chalet Mirabell is doing their part to help our environment by employing an autonomous energy supply (their own wood chip plant), natural thermal insulation, energy-saving heating, use of rainwater for flushing toilets, e-charging stations, BMW i7 all-electric rental and use of solar energy to name some of their efforts.

RELAX

Unmissable Spa Experience. The 64,600 square-foot worldclass spa offers an array of indulgent amenities, including a traditional Finnish sauna, rejuvenating steam baths, soothing whirlpools, tranquil relaxation zones, and a stunning 25-meter outdoor pool. Every detail is meticulously designed to promote deep relaxation, and my massage was extraordinary.
