Well done to everyone in the Upper division for what can only be described as an outstanding triumph with Oliver.Thank you all for your support of the girls who took part and for your very kind comments, which were liberally distributed after the show. Easy to forget that the girls are only 12 and 13 years old.

support of the school, which is so much appreciated by all of us on the staff. I will say more on Tuesday (get your pillows ready) but in the meantime if I don’t see you have a very enjoyable summer break. Good luck to all of our leavers and I wish them every success in the future. My best wishes to all of those staff who will be no longer with us, about whom you will hear more at Prize Giving Day. DG

Godstowe Rocked! A huge thank you to everybody who supported and contributed to Godstowe Rocks on Sunday. The day was a roaring success and the feedback that FOG has received so far is a joy to hear and makes all the hard work over the past seven months totally worth it. The objective at the outset was to stage a family friendly music festival that was fun, laid-back and had something for everybody. We believe that objective was surpassed and judging by the overwhelming amount of positive emails and comments, you feel the same way! So thank you everybody for your willingness to try something new; you all helped make it the success it was. To view photos click here.

Day on Tuesday. If you missed the Festival, or just want more stuff, then please bring cash or a cheque-book with you on the day.

Welly-wanging prizes Winning Child: James who scored 550. He wins a £15 Voucher for the Children’s Shoe Company, Marlow Winning Adults: 1st place: Nick Baker, who wins a limited edition print by Lodge’s own Joanne Herbert 2nd place: Trevor Jackson, who wins a Moët et Chandon limited edition in chiller tube, kindly donated by Mike Stringer

Thank you, thank you, thank you! So this is the last FOG News from me. It has been an enjoyable year as FOG Chair but I am stepping down now along with Anna Welsh (Treasurer). Caroline Taylor Smith (Vice Chair) is also stepping down after several years of service. In our stead we welcome Rachel Parker and Jackie Davey as Chair and Vice Chair respectively. We wish them well and every success with all future FOG ventures - and as much fun as we’ve had! It remains for me to sincerely thank all the Trustees, Class Reps, Godstowe Rocks committee, the Gainers and School Staff for their support and enthusiasm throughout the year.Your guidance and wisdom has been invaluable! Lastly I would like to say a big thank you to Lodge parents (where my daughters are) for all your cheerleading - truly appreciated. And finally...I would like to wish you all a great summer!

Raffle Prizes Most of you will have received them by now, if you haven’t then please do collect them from Main School reception before school finishes.

AGM We held the AGM this morning in the Sports Hall Gallery. It was very well attended and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who came along. Top of the agenda was an overview of FOG’s fundraising activities this year. Copies of the review are on the noticeboards in Main School and in Lodge so please feel free to have a read through. We also had a toast to a successful school year, welcomed the new class reps for September 2014 and voted in some new Trustees (more on that below!).

Last chance for Godstowe Rocks Merchandise We will be selling the water bottles, t-shirts and wristbands at Speech

Teachers taking on the Three Peaks Mrs Laxton, Mrs van Hoegaerden, Mr Ludwick, Miss Balsdon and Miss Hearnshaw (pictured below) are climbing the Three Peaks for charity this month. They will joined by two others, Hilary Third and Rosemary Wright, and will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon for Tujatane School, Zambia, which Godstowe has recently raised funds for. If you would like to sponsor Team Godstowe, please visit their Just Giving page by clicking here.

End of Term reminders End of term for Main School is on Tuesday (8th July). Girls are required to be in school at 9.45am. Prize Giving in the marquee will commence at 10.30am. Parents and pupils are invited to picnic in the grounds following Prize Giving before the End of Year Service, which begins at 2pm at All Saints Church in High Wycombe. Girls will be brought back to school and there will be a Farewell Tea at 3.30pm which all pupils and parents are welcome to attend before departing. Please make sure your daughter comes into school with her blazer and boater. Term ends for Lodge pupils on Monday (7th July) - there is no school for them on Tuesday.

Middles trip to the Mullins’ farm The Middles visited Great Hundridge Manor on Tuesday, as part of their Activities Day. All the girls had a fantastic time, taking part in orienteering, scavanger hunts and learning about different aspects of the farm. Godstowe is very grateful to Mr and Mrs Mullins for giving up their time to show us around and letting the school visit.
