’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it... I have wonderful news this month! A new member, Lisa Wong, has volunteered to take on the newsletter Editor position. She has great skills and experience to take on Going Places. Welcome to the Arizona region! Lisa and I will work together over the next few months as I transition more of the responsibilities over to her. We also have a new Webmaster taking over our club website, Marla McDermott. Marla also just bought her first Porsche and wanted to get involved with the club! How fortunate for us she choose to relocate to Arizona. This month the winner for the Writer’s Monthly Award for Going Places is Robin Grenko for contributing “Treffen at The Broadmoor.” Robin will receive a $30. credit on MotorsportReg, which is good for one year to use on any AZPCA activity. Looks like Robin and Dee had a wonderful time attending their first Treffen event. The next Treffen event is scheduled in September to Bend,Oregon. Registration opens on June 29th at 3 pm EDT (noon AZT). treffen.pca.org These events sell out in a mater of minutes! See the promo on page 35. I appreciate the articles and pictures that members send me because without them there would be no newsletter. Just remember if you want to take a cover worthy photo, it needs to be vertical orientation.
