ESPICHE GOLF CELEBRATES CLUBHOUSE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

The three founding members of Espiche Golf were visionary entrepreneurs who visited the Algarve over 20 years ago to look at investment opportunities. When they saw the site at Bago de Uva, they immediately saw the opportunity to create a course that would be unique in Portugal, a natural course that would blend into the landscape. They took their concept to South African golf course architect Peter Sauerman, who designed the course, and with the backing and support of a small group of investors and a handful of dedicated builders, they lovingly built and landscaped the design to blend in with the surrounding landscape.

With an impressive 18-hole layout, this par 72 course offers an unparalleled golfing

experience where challenge and beauty seamlessly blend. Its lakes, streams, and indigenous plantings enhance and enrich the biodiversity of the area.

Espiche Golf is a testament to precision and design. The 5,890 metres (6,441 yards) of meticulously crafted fairways and greens are set against the stunning backdrop of the Algarve’s natural beauty.

Plans are underway to develop a hotel and residential village on the adjacent parcel of land to the golf course. This project is being driven by the same ethical and innovative vision that underpins Espiche Golf, and will feature abundant green spaces and an unusually low build density. The heart and first phase of this eco-resort will be a “Praca”

or village square linking the boutique hotel with a signature lifestyle/cultural centre. The main hotel building will include several luxury suites, a restaurant, sky bar, conference rooms, spa and gym. The majority of guests will be accommodated in one and two-bedroom single-story eco-units set harmoniously into the landscape.

Vilamoura’s golfing gems to sparkle as upgrade to place Portuguese resort among Europe’s best

DETAILS, a newly established, independent sports and hospitality management platform, has assumed control of some of golf’s most famous real estate in Vilamoura, Portugal, with a vision of elevating the destination to the very best in Europe.

It will oversee the assets within the Dom Pedro Hotels and Golf Collection, which have made the Algarve the hottest spot for visiting golfers on the continent, including the famous Vilamoura Old Course.

The move comes as part of a major multi-year development plan, which will see Vilamoura significantly enhanced through a series of ambitious upgrades, serving to further attract travellers seeking the very best leisure and lifestyle experience the Iberian Peninsula has to offer.

In addition to the Vilamoura Old Course, the Dom Pedro Hotels and Golf Collection comprises the highly popular Dom Pedro Portobelo, Dom Pedro Marina and Dom Pedro Vilamoura hotels, as well as the Victoria, Pinhal, Laguna and Millennium golf courses. The Dom Pedro Victoria course hosted the European Tour’s Portugal Masters between 2007 and 2022 and saw victories for the likes of Open champions, Padraig Harrington and Shane Lowry, as well as England’s Ryder Cup stalwart, Lee Westwood.

Away from Dom Pedro, the Palmares, Vale Pisão and Aroeira (Pines Classic and Challenge) golf courses will take the DETAILS golf portfolio to nine courses in total. The Aroeira golf courses will be upgraded in 2024, an investment that aims to improve the quality of play and make this asset a golf destination located just 25 minutes from Lisbon.

Golfers can expect further news in the near future regarding DETAILS’ enhancement plans, which will see returning travellers to Vilamoura delighted by the positive evolution of an already favourite destination.

Palmares feasts on success as clubhouse restaurant retains Michelin Star

Golfers looking to sample the finest that Portugal has to offer can enjoy more than just an exceptional on-course experience at Palmares Ocean Living & Golf as the Algarve resort’s Al Sud restaurant receives a Michelin star for the fourth consecutive year.

One of the most prestigious honours to be bestowed on a restaurant, the team at Al Sud – led by renowned chef Louis Anjos – has once again retained the coveted accolade it first received just six months after opening in 2021.

Situated within the 27-hole resort’s clubhouse, designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize-winning RCR Arquitectes, Al Sud enjoys magnificent views over the Bay of Lagos and the Alvor Estuary and opened to much acclaim. Conjuring up contemporary fine dining with a creative touch, Anjos – who heads out of the kitchen to greet his guests in person – sources ingredients from the Algarve and its coastline to create an array of

Representatives from Palmares and Al Sud were present at the Michelin Guide Portugal 2024 Gala on February 27, an event held in the Algarve for the very first time, to celebrate the news of the restaurant’s continued success.

Vale do Lobo opens new Golf Shop with fresh look and brands

The Algarve’s prestigious Vale do Lobo resort is known around the world for its outstanding golf facilities. Now the legendary resort, owned and operated by Kronos Homes, has opened a new Golf Shop, managed by Vale do Lobo, ensuring players have everything they need to enjoy their game.

The Dunas Course at Terras da Comporta wins new top golf accolade in Portugal

The Dunas Course at Terras da Comporta has achieved a new first after being rated as the number one golf course in Portugal by users of a respected industry website – less than a year after opening.

The spectacular course near Lisbon –architect David McLay-Kidd’s first golf design project in mainland Europe which officially opened on October 5 last autumn – shot straight to the top of the rankings in Leading Courses’ updated ‘Golfers’ Choice Awards 2024’.

Decided by reviews given by the Leading Courses community, each course is assessed across a range of categories including design, surroundings, maintenance, hospitality and value for money, with The Dunas Course scoring highly in each.

The accolade is the latest in a growing list of prestigious honours to be bestowed on The Dunas Course since the par-71 layout opened – including being named as the ‘World’s Best New Golf Course’ and ‘Europe’s Best New Golf Course’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards.

Terras da Comporta sets opening date for second course

Fresh anticipation is starting to build as Europe’s most exciting golf design project prepares to unveil its second 18-hole course next summer.

The Dunas Course at Terras da Comporta has earned widespread global praise since opening last year, and the luxury Portuguese development’s Torre Course is expected to receive a similar reaction when it is unveiled to the golfing world in June 2025.

Created over an area of natural sandy terrain, the par-72 layout is European Ryder Cup legend Sergio Garcia’s first major golf course design project and will measure 6,575 metres from the back tees when it is completed. Terras da Comporta’s expert team of greenkeepers completed seeding on the course’s teeing areas, fairways and greens at the end of last month and the layout remains on schedule to be ready for play at the start of next summer.

Garcia said: “The site is located in striking scenery just a couple of kilometres from the beautiful beaches of Comporta. And the land has all the ingredients for a spectacular golf course.

“We have tried to fit the course as naturally as possible into the landscape in order to give the guests the feeling that the holes were shaped together with the surrounding by the hands of time. Players will find large sandy waste bunkers along the not too overly wide fairways.

“The greens are purposely on the smaller side but should surprise here and there with some character, and the golf course in general will favour precision and shot-making over length and power golf. With six teeing positions on each hole, the golf course will cater to all levels of golf from beginners to professionals and young to old.”

News of The Torre Course’s opening date comes as The Dunas Course continues to receive far-praise from players and the golf industry alike, with the David McLay-Kidd creation achieving a new first recently after being rated as the number one golf course in Portugal by users of the respected Leading Courses website less than a year after opening.

Palácio Estoril

A hotel where history is made

In the Palácio Estoril Hotel you travel back in time, but on a journey that also continues in the present and into the future.

The first 18 hole course of its kind to be built in the Algarve, the Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course started a golfing movement that is, today, famous the world over. A Stunning Transformation in the Southern Algarve

First he introduced thousands of trees and shrubs, completely transforming the landscape into a vegetation rich, lush land, perfect for playing the game of golf. From this initial build, there quickly sprang another 30 courses across the region... with plenty more to come. As the towering pines and eucalyptus trees reached maturity, the course was given a definitive character that remains unmatched across the entire penipnsular of the Algarve.

Sir Henry Cotton: The Man Behind the Vision Sir Henry Cotton was a three times British Open Champion, even winning the competition with an extraordinary 65 in 1934 - which resulted in Dunlop honouring him with his own ball... the ‘65’. Most at home in the Algarve, with the great all year round climate - particularly during Autumn and Winter when many of the UK courses were slightly inclement to say the least, Sir Henry was determined to follow his vision of creating a world of year-round golf... and golfers the world over are mighty pleased that he did.

The Course Today

A major revitalisation project has recently completely transformed both the hotel and the golf course. Prestigious events such as the Daily Telegraph Seniors’ Match Play event (2001), the National Finals of the Audi Corp, together with major international and charity competitions - such as the Sir Henry Cotton Charity Classic - together with the Portuguese Open (1998 / 1999/ 2000 / 2004 / 2006) have all been hosted at the course.

Unusual Characteristics of a World Famous Course

The course itself is characterised by an unusual grouping of Par 5s, with four

of the five arranged together in pairs in the beginning and end of the back nineproducing a Par 38 as opposed to 35. As you turn home towards the 18th, the magnificent building of the hotel acts as a backdrop to the green and is framed by an amphitheatre of trees - a superb spectator setting. Drive short of the drainage ditch, position the second shot to avoid the bunkers guarding the putting surface... and take into account the pin position on one of the three tiers - and you could well finish with a highly commendable par.

Of the Par 3s, the most memorable is the 13th - voted one of the best 500 holes in the world. A lake borders the right-hand side, coming into play off the back tee, whilst the sloping green is guarded to the front and left by a pair of dangerous bunkers... great fun and a great challenge.

The par-72 Dom Pedro Millennium Golf Course is often asserted that the creation of the Dom Pedro Millennium Golf Course was pivotal in cementing the status of this region as one of Europe’s most-visited and best-loved for golf. DOM PEDRO PINHAL GOLF COURSE

The Dom Pedro Pinhal Golf Course was opened for play in 1976 and owes its personality to both the original designer Frank Pennink, who also turned his hand to Dom Pedro Old Course Golf Club nearby, and Robert Trent Jones Sr., who made a number of significant refinements in 1985. Traversing undulating parkland, many fairways are lined by pine trees. However, perhaps an even more significant challenge is presented by the Umbrella and Atlantic pines which present themselves on fairways and at times on the approach into greens. Length has recently been added on a number of holes, which ensure the test originally envisioned by Pennink is maintained. At a substantial 6,353 metres from the white tee markers, and with a par of 72, Dom Pedro Pinhal Golf Course is certainly no pushover, although golfers will be pleased to learn that the ponds and stream

which come into play on five holes should not, for the most part, present a serious threat. One of the most remarked upon features of Dom Pedro Pinhal Golf Course, in Vilamoura, is the stunning panorama provided from the clubhouse, which extends over the excellent driving range and practice facilities and beyond. Completely renovated at the turn of the millennium, its veranda offers the perfect setting for post-round relaxation. The Ocean Golf Course features undulating fairways which run alongside nature reserve, before leading gently down to the shores of the Atlantic.

Its emblematic holes are two challenging and spectacular Par 4s, the 11th and the 14th - which treat golfers to some of the most spectacular views in the Algarve - and the Par 3 15th, which runs alongside the beach.

The Royal Golf Course was designed by top American golf architect Rocky Roquemore, based on original drawings made by Sir Henry Cotton. It was inaugurated in 1997.

The Royal Golf Course has rolling fairways set amidst pine trees and beautiful lakes surrounded by wild flowers. Its features include the almost island green of the 9th and the famous 16th, with cliff-top carryover – one of the most celebrated golfing images in the world, which has become the veritable symbol of golf in the Algarve.

Established as one of the world’s most popular golf destinations, the Algarve still manages to move with the times. Leading by example, particularly when it comes to sustainability, is Ombria Algarve - the new luxury golf destination only 20 minutes from Faro airport.

Over the years, golf courses have continued to evolve. Whilst, in the past, architects may have prioritised a challenging game, we are now seeing a new generation of golf courses that also put emphasis on sustainability. One such course is that of Ombria Algarve, the new luxury golf resort in the Algarve. Whilst the development boasts an abundance of eco-friendly features, the project team has carved a golf course that is interwoven with the native species. Key design considerations addressed by Ombria Algarve included minimal turf grass surface areas, restoration and integration of the native river landscapes, conservation of the surrounding woodlands for nature and recreation and a highly efficient irrigation system and energy-efficient pump set to cope with the steep terrain. Protection of natural native habitat, cultural remnants of ancient irrigation systems,

water mills, limestone kilns, ancient bridges and stone walling all contribute to the strong sense of place and authentic visitor experience Ombria aimed to deliver.

As a result, the course was recognised with a GEO Foundation certification which is the international benchmark of a responsible golf course; demanding the highest standards of sustainability across six key areas - nature, water, energy, supply chain, pollution control and community.

And an exciting challenge is almost guaranteed! Ombria’s 18-hole golf course is a 5 800 metre, par 71, boasting two 9-hole loops that are set in quite different terrains. The front nine are laid in the base of two untouched landscape banks with a ‘wall to wall’ design and very well-defined grass limits that create an ever-changing look throughout the seasons. Magnificent holm trees, preserved inside the playing areas, are an integral part in the course strategy and work as hazards.

The #1 tee welcomes the player with stunning views down the valley, this short part 5 offers a comfortable tee shot for all levels of golfers. Presenting arguably the most challenging par 5, however, is the #2 hole. With a length of

518 meters, slight double dog-leg, it invites players to a gamble with the stream several times whilst the preserved old rock noria may block the view of the approach shot. The front nine loop ends with a true championship par 4 sandwiched between a lake on the left and the stream on the right that will reward players with picturesque views of the surrounding nature.

The back nine holes feature a very different, wider scenery. The #10-hole fairway is framed by two holm trees and is free of bunkers on the landing area which should provide a comfortable start of the back nine loop. Moving along the remaining holes of the back nine, golfers can expect different challenges that require finesse and know-how. Afterwards, players may wish to visit the onsite Clubhouse which was built into the castle-like walls of an existing ruin. From professional tuition to the latest equipment, here you will find everything you need for a splendid day on the course including a sports bar and restaurant, pro shop, swimming pool, sauna and gym facilities. QUINTA DO LAGO NORTH COURSE

Built to the highest specifications, the North Course was totally redesigned in 2014 by renowned architect Beau Welling, in conjunction with former European Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley.

While many modern-day developments tend to focus on length, Welling and McGinley were keen to design a golfing experience where accuracy and course management are the key factors, and a course that is playable and fun for golfers of all abilities. All the greens, tees, bunkers, irrigation and drainage systems and cart paths have been re-built using innovative technology. Four sets of tees have been introduced on each hole to accommodate players of all levels. Golfers are challenged by a combination of undulating

greens, well-positioned bunkers and water hazards.

A low-cut Bermuda grass approach has been introduced around greens to create recovery shot options, therefore encouraging all levels of play. Through the introduction of seasonal rough grass and the planting of specimen trees, the aesthetics and environmental impact of the par-72 course has significantly improved. The renovation has allowed for water recycling, solar energy while the grassy areas will encourage new ecosystems.

The South Course is the crown jewel of Quinta do Lago. Designed in 1974 by William Mitchell, who introduced American-standard greens, tees and bunkers to the Algarve. The course was renovated in 2020 – with a €7 million investement.

A favourite among European Tour professionals, the South Course calls for accurate drives and precise shots, but rewards players for their efforts with the stunning backdrop of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Regularly included in the Golf World magazine’s ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in Europe’, the par-72 layout has received widespread praise for its strategically-placed hazards and varying difficulty across the 18 holes. Having hosted the Portuguese Open on no fewer than eight occasions, the South Course is regarded as one of Portugal’s premier golfing venues.

The recent upgrade of the iconic layout formed the centrepiece of a multi-million euro golf improvement plan announced by this top Algarve destination resort.

As part of the South Course’s major overhaul, all fairways, bunkers, tees and green surrounds have been revamped, as well as subtle changes made to a number of holes to enhance the playing experience. From Faro Airport: Leave the airport and drive approximately 3 km until you see signs for Faro and Portimão. Turn right towards Portimão. This will bring you to main road - EN 125. Continue for approximately 4 km and then turn right direction to Portimão. Keep driving for approximately 3 Km and turn right to Almancil. The San Lorenzo Golf Course was opened in 1988 and takes advantage of wonderful topography on the Quinta do Lago estate, winding its way gently over undulating pine woodland. The 18 holes lie in the unspoilt South east corner of Quinta do Lago, bordering the Ria Formosa Estuary and salt water lagoons.

The course was designed by the American golf architect Joseph Lee and the beautiful Bermuda grass fairways provide perfect playing conditions.

The San Lorenzo Golf Course is laid out in a figure of eight and at the heart lies the San Lorenzo Clubhouse with a golf pro shop; comfortable changing facilities; welcoming bar and restaurant.

The fifth, the shortest hole on the San Lorenzo Golf Course, open up a magnificent vista with the backdrop of golden beaches and the Atlantic Ocean. Drama begins to unfold at the sixth hole where the San Lorenzo Golf Course borders the estuary and great demands are put on accuracy.

The eighth hole turns inland and is without a doubt one of the most spectacular par 5s, bordering the largest of the inland lakes and forcing the third shot to carry water to a tight

but beautifully positioned green. With the lake to your right, the tendency is to favour the left side; however bunkers and encroaching pines lie and wait on this side.

It is difficult to describe the breathtaking finale that awaits you at the eighteenth hole. Here without a doubt is one of the finest finishes in golf that you will ever experience, and has become world renowned. There is no escape from the water here and the prefect drive merely lessens the challenge of a shot

across water left and right, back and front to a tiny targeted green.

The San Lorenzo Golf Course is simply spectacular, and is contiunually improved to add to its natural beauty wherever possible. Benamor Golf is a superb 18 hole Golf Course located on the South of Portugal, Algarve, just a few kilometres east of the ancient city of Tavira. In the nearby foothills of Barrocal, you will enjoy some of the best mountain and sea views the Algarve has to offer. But maybe most enjoyable of all, are the peaceful surroundings of a construction free resort. Possibly the only one on the Algarve.

The decision to build a golf course, on the land of Quinta de Benamor, in Tavira, Algarve, was made in 1986. The Owning Martins Dias family invited the late Sir Henry Cotton to make a concept design for an 18-hole course. Sir Henry Cotton was inspired by the beautiful old church next to the site of the Clubhouse and by the spectacular location.

The final result is a delightful par 71 golf course of 5,500 metres (6,100 yards), which offers a pleasant playing experience, to players of all standards. The course is undulating but not hilly. The views of the mountains to the North and the Atlantic Ocean to the South are stunning. The indigenous olive, cork, carob, fig and almond trees, many centuries old, feature aesthetically and in playing terms. Water hazards and sand bunkers are located to test the strategy and striking ability of the player.

The Penn A4 greens and tees are simply superb. The fairways of Bermuda Sahara and cool-season grasses, provide good lies for wood and iron shots.

The Benamor Golf Driving Range offers a complete practice facility on a nice and pleasant natural setting whether you are an experienced player or total beginner. It has 16 mats at front end of Driving Range and practice grass at top end with target flags and distance markers.

A Chipping and Pitching green is also located

at top end with a bunker to practice from. For players who wish to concentrate on their putting we have a lovely 9 hole Putting Green situated between Clubhouse and Driving Range.

The Benamor golf course offers several spaces for visitors. Driving directions from Portugal

Travelling east on the motorway A22, exit at the Tavira junction 16, and follow the signs to Tavira. At the main roundabout on the EN125, take the 3rd exit towards Vila Real Stº António. After 6,3 km, on the 4th roundabout (golfer roundabout) at Conceição de Tavira, take the 3rd exit to enter Benamor Golf. 600m ahead you’ll find Benamor Golf’s car park.

While the holes of the original course wind their way through pine-clad hillsides, where ball placement is paramount, those of the subsequent nine ‘The Grouse’ - bring with them a greater sense of space, since the land is somewhat less wooded.

Here fairways are more generous and the greens markedly larger, important contributing factors to a greater sense of freedom when teeing off.

Situated in a secluded coastal setting on the edge of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, The Dunas Course is the first of two 18-hole championship layouts that is being built at Terras da Comporta.

Created over 84 hectares of natural, sandy terrain by acclaimed golf architect McLayKidd, the par-71 course has been built using the highest sustainable practices and is quickly becoming one of Europe’s mustplay golfing venues after being officially inaugurated in October 2023. As with so many of McLay-Kidd’s more

recent creations – he admits that he had a rethink about his design philosophy in 2009 after realising that his first courses were too hard for the average golfer – strategy and playability are the keys, especially from the tee. Lower handicappers may well prefer to take on the tiger lines which, executed properly, will leave the best chance for birdie but the architect has also been keen to offer plenty of room on the fairways so that higher-handicap players can gain just as much pleasure and satisfaction from their course experience.

This course, opened in 1929, was refurbished and extended to 27 holes in 1936, by McKenzie Ross. The Quinta da Marinha Golf Course, in Cascais, has 18 holes with 5.870 meters of pure nature and big challenges. This par 71, designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, offers fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Sintra Mountains.

In this course you can really see the style of Robert Trent Jones in the elevated greens and tees, with many bunkers in play and, as expected, some water hazards. Every hole is different, you will have to use all the clubs in the bag and play with strategy to make a good score. Some of the holes you won’t forget are: Hole 3, Par 4, it is one of the most famous holes of the Portuguese Golf, with view to the Atlantic Ocean, its picture was used for many years to promote “Golf in Portugal” abroad. Hole 4, Par 3, played over a natural ravine to a quite demanding Green. Hole 13, Par 3, you play over a big lake to an elevated green well protected with 4 bunkers. Hole 18, a beautiful Par 5, with two lakes, all shots have to be well

thought to make sure you are not penalized by the water.

Quinta da Marinha has been host to many high profile professional competitions, such as the Ladies Masters in 1988, won by South African player Laurette Maritz-Atkins. In 2002, the PGA Seniors Tour Championship was won by Denis Durnian after a dramatic suddendeath play-off with the former Ryder Cup star, Eamonn Darcy. And in 2007, the Challenge Tour, was won by Ross McGowan, shooting 66 to beat former Ryder Cup player Peter Baker who was leading the after round three. With five tees per hole, it is suitable for the majority of players and offers the opportunity to score well providing you can negotiate the wide, tricky greens and avoid the well-placed bunkers and numerous water hazards, most notably on the risk-and-reward par-four 14th hole.

Ribagolfe Oaks

A shorter test than Ribagolfe Lakes but still measuring more than 6,800 yards, Ribagolfe Oaks (formerly called Ribagolfe II) was designed by former Ryder Cup player Michael King in collaboration with European Tour Design.

Blessed with the same indigenous cork oak canvas, King has crafted a more forgiving but equally appealing golf course with wider fairways and landing areas. The huge, moderately contoured greens, however, provide a stiff test if you’re to score well here. All this is in a perfect environment for golf practice, surrounded by nothing but nature where you can only hear the chirping of the birds.

An 18-hole par 71 course of 6005 meters, Ponte de Lima Golf Club was inaugurated on the 15th of September 1995. Located on the rural area of Ponte de Lima, the golf course is a mix between level and hilly, the first nine holes being hilly and the second nine level. These unique characteristics in the northern region delight players with the fantastic views over the Lima valley as well as having contact with the typical Minho countryside. In the middle of the course, between holes 1, 10, 9, 18, is situated the Clubhouse where various services, such as reception, golf shop, hire of equipment, restaurant, bar, terrace,

saunas, pool, television room and three padel courts, are available.

Several hotels serve the region, the closest being the AXIS Ponte de Lima Golf Resort Hotel situated in the golf course and The Manour House “Casa do Anquião”. At the moment in the North of Portugal there are 7 golf courses within a radius of about 70 km, all with access to the motorway (4 in North of Portugal and 3 in North of Spain). In the town of Ponte de Lima, besides the golf, there are three equestrian centres, a racecourse, water sports centre as well as various river beaches.

The Estela Golf Course is located in P6voa de Varzim. If you are arriving from Porto via A28, take a right turn towards Estela after the P6voa de Varzim exit. Afterwards, just follow the signs and you will easily find us after approximately 3 Km.

VIDAGO PALACE

The award-winning Vidago Palace Hotel Golf Course was redesigned by the firm Cameron & Powell from an original by Mackenzie Ross built in 1936. The course has now been rebuilt from scratch to meet USGA specifications for greens and tees and has been transformed into a par 72 course.

The Vidago Palace Hotel Golf Course is a course of striking contrasts, all with a particular respect for the natural surroundings. Distinctive features of this course include the support walls of all the tees, which are made of local stone, and the century-old trees, almost all of which have been preserved.

The first four holes, played within the Centenary Park of the Vidago Palace Hotel, anticipate the next 11, newly built in the Oura valley. The last three are played in the upper part of the Centenary Park, and afford

magnificent views to the neighboring hills and villages. Every hole is a challenge and each of the last nine is completely different from the one before, giving golfers the opportunity to deploy their full range of shots.

The comprehensive nature of the Vidago Palace offering has been demonstrated by it hosting the Portuguese Senior Open in 2014 –part of the European Senior Tour – as well the Bonallack and Patsy Hankins Trophies in 2016, the international amateur match between Europe and Asia- Pacific.
