NO ONE SHOULD GO HUNGRY DURING
THE HOLIDAYS OR ANY DAY.
This holiday season 285,000 of our neighbors might not be able to provide a holiday meal for their families. They are our seniors, disabled veterans, newly arrived immigrants, and 89,000 children facing food insecurity every day. No one should go hungry during the holidays or any day. YOU can make a difference by supporting Long Island Cares, Inc. - The Harry Chapin Food Bank. Please consider volunteering, hosting a food drive, or making a donation. TOGETHER WE CAN CREATE HAPPY HOLIDAYS FOR OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED.

Cult Hit Distorted Diznee
Return to The Magical Queendom! The Laurie Beechman Theater continues its reign as The Happiest Place on Earth as DISTORTED DIZNEE resumes performances after its 8-year run began a pandemic-induced slumber in March 2020. Presented by Twizted Sisterz, this non-stop, high-energy, late-night cult hit parody of beloved pop culture princesses and villains began performances October 22. DISTORTED DIZNEE is an outrageous Las Vegas-style parody revue featuring some of America’s most beloved animated classics. Come be Part of Our World as a troupe of fabulous drag queens takes you on a twisted – and very adult – journey, where Evil Queens become Mean Girls, Pocahontas is a proud mary, and a little mermaid yearns for the carnal benefits of being an anatomically correct woman. This 75-minute non-stop extravaganza features high-energy dance numbers, pop culture, comedy, dazzling costumes and lip-syncing “ladies”– with a bit of Cher, Patti LuPone, Idina Menzel, Precious, and Rihanna thrown in for good measure. DISTORTED DIZNEE runs select Fridays at 10pm. The Laurie Beechman Theater is located inside West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street -- at Ninth Avenue, accessible from the A,C,E,N,R,V,F,1,2 & 3 trains at 42nd Street) Tickets are $22 (plus a $20 food/drink minimum). (NYSE: MSGE) welcomes legendary musician Billy Joel back to MSG December 20th when his unprecedented, sold-out franchise run continues with his 121st lifetime performance. Billy Joel is one of the biggest concert draws in the world, selling out arenas and stadiums across the globe. SPORTS BEAT You didn’t have to be Luis Rojas the Oracle of Delphi to predict the New York Mets were going to dismiss their manager, Luis Rojas, at the end of the season. Managing teams in big markets with decent-sized payrolls which finish with more losses than wins for two straight seasons will lead to that outcome. He also made several questionable ingame decisions which were dissected on both the Mets’ radio and TV postgame shows. If that weren’t enough, Mets president Sandy Alderson held a press conference five days before the season’s end. He stated while he was impressed with Luis Rojas’s affability and his ability to keep players from pointing fingers at each other when the season spiraled out of control in the season’s second half, the results have to reflect the process. Unfortunately, they didn’t for Rojas.
I n t e r e s t i n g l y, Luis Rojas may have known he was on shaky ground even when the Mets were in first place, and their first playoff appearance in five years seemed all but assured. I was chatting with Rojas just before the AllStar Game break about what he planned to do with his free time that week. He said he and his wife would Photo courtesy: NY Mets take their son to the Bronx Zoo, the Statue of Liberty, and a couple of museums. I told Rojas it was a shame the Broadway theaters were closed because of COVID-19 concerns but they were scheduled to reopen in mid-September, He and his wife could catch a few shows after the season ended. “My contract expires at the end of the season, so who knows?” he replied.

It’s safe to say that New York Yankees CEO Hal Steinbrenner doesn’t believe he has gotten his money’s worth from pitcher Gerrit Cole who signed a nine-year, $324 million with the Bronx Bombers in 2019. Ken Singleton
Photograph © E.H. Wallop
Ken Singleton had a solid 15-year career as an outfielder for the Mets, Montreal Expos,
By Lloyd Carroll and Baltimore Orioles, but he is best known around these parts for being a longtime member of the New York Yankees television broadcast team. Singleton has wanted to retire from broadcasting for a while but his bosses always begged him to return, even if that meant he could make up his own work schedule. He always wound up giving into their wishes. He told YES viewers during the final weekend of the season he had missed too much time watching his grandchildren grow up and this time he really was calling it a career at the age of 74. Speaking of athletes who became broadcasters, former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson, who is both a panelist on “The NFL Today,” and an anchor on “CBS Mornings,” as well as doing occasional work for the NFL Network and the weeknight entertainment news show, “Extra,” is on the cover of the new issue of the glossy “Watch Magazine.” Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Bill Cowher, is a
colleague of Burleson’s on “The NFL Today,” and he has written his autobiography, “Heart and Steel” (Atria Books). Cowher discusses growing up in the Pittsburgh suburb of Crafton where he was a skinny athlete who played nearly every varsity sport and wound up being a linebacker for North Carolina State where he met the love of his life, Kaye. Yes, Cowher recalls his 15 seasons as the head coach of his hometown NFL team and the two Super Bowl rings he received. Surprisingly, he doesn’t spend much time writing about his work on “The NFL Today.” Instead, he details his family life rasing three daughters in his wife Kaye’s hometown of Raleigh, NC, and the pain which came with losing her to cancer in 2010. He ends on an upbeat by writing about finding love again with the woman who would become his second wife, Veronica Stigeler. New “Saturday Night Live” player James Austin Johnson garnered a lot of attention with his take on Joe Biden in the season
opener. His Biden was OK, but his take on Fox lead sports voice, Joe Buck, was truly spot on. Sports betting ads are ubiquitous on television and it’s clear the gambling companies looking for your business are not shy about shelling out big bucks for talent.. Caesars hired both JB Smoove and Patton Oswalt for their ads while PointsBet went after a pair of well-known retired athletes, Allen Iverson and Drew Brees. The premium cable network, Starz, has launched a terrific new series, “Heels,” which looks at the fascinating world of smalltime independent wrestling promotions who are finding it increasingly difficult to survive. Stephen Amell, best known to television viewers as the star of CW’s “The Arrow,” is the lead here as Jack Spade, who doubles as the owner of the fictional Duffy Wrestling League and its number one villainous grappler. “Heel” is wrestling lingo for “ring bad guys.” Another premium cable service, Epix, has launched “NFL Icons” in conjunction with NFL Films. Think of this as the NFL’s version of A&E’s “Biography” series. NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen handles the hosting duties.

LIZZIE & THE MAKERS EERIE HAUNTED At about six years of age, Marshall first fixed his eyes on a piano. Pressing down on the black and white shapes, he discovered a timbre and texture that revealed magical keys to open doors that never close. As time passed, songs were born, flowing with a life of their own. Over the years, Oakman has honed his craft, creating a vast catalogue spanning a lifetime. His compositions showcase vibrant, iconic pop/rock shimmers with Beatlesque harmonies, blending timeless themes, thoughtfully embraced and melded to magnetic melodies. Marshall’s recorded music includes top musicians who have performed and/or recorded with Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Daryl Hall, Madonna, Hall & Oates, Steve Winwood, Jennifer Lopez, Bon
THE INDOMITABLE LITTLE FEAT BY REQUEST Fifty-two years of great music doesn’t squeeze down to a short announcement very easily. “Dixie Chicken,” “Oh Atlanta,” “Willin’,” “Let it Roll,” “Spanish Moon,” and “Fat Man in the Bathtub” are just the merest hint of a repertoire that has inspired more joy and more dancing than you can imagine. Little Feat fused a broad span of styles and genres into something utterly distinctive, a mix of California rock, funk, folk, jazz, country, rockabilly, and New Orleans swamp boogie and more, all stirred into a rich gumbo that can only be Little Feat. In November they’ll kick off their “By Request” tour, where they will perform the songs and set lists that Feat Fans have asked for. For more info on how to take part in the song selection, go to www.littlefeat.net. Bill Payne (keyboards, vocals), Kenny Gradney (bass), Sam Clayton (percussion and vocals), Fred Tackett (guitars and vocals), Scott Sharrard (guitars and vocals), and Tony Leone (drums) are Little Feat in 2021. They’ll be at the Paramount Photo by: Polly Payne November 15th.

WHEELS & DEALS STEVE CONTE NEW RELEASE New York City guitarist, singer and songwriter Steve Conte has released “Flying,” the next single off his first solo album in five years, the attitude-infused Bronx Cheer, released Friday, November 5 on Wicked Cool Records. Steve says, “This one goes back to 1994 when Photo by: Anja Van Ast I was working on a band that was never to be with Brynn Arens of Flipp. We jammed on this in my rehearsal studio very organically and I came up with the lyrics later. I did a few demos of it over the years and it never left my consciousness. I always knew it was a winner, and when I played it to filmmaker Peter Perenyi, he fell in love with it and was dying to make an epic video for it…which he has done now! It’s about how in the face of adversity, disappointment and trauma, a person of strong will can keep going for their dreams. Of course, in my case, it could just be that I’m stubborn as hell and can’t do anything else!” Long known for his memorable guitar work as a member of New York Dolls, as well as former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe’s band (with whom he still performs), Steve found international fame in recent years via his collaborations with Japanese composer
and artist Yoko Kanno on the soundtracks to several hit anime series, including Cowboy Bebop. ANNA SUN “MINE” Brooklyn-based indie-pop trio Anna Sun has released the video for their debut single, “Mine,” marrying classic pop aesthetics with adventurous modern production. Originally the bedroom project of songwriter Samantha Aneson, Anna Sun has since grown into a collaborative trio including drummer Nikola Balać and bassist Andrew Shewaga. The first offering from the group, “Mine,” showcases Aneson’s ability to dig deep into the often tricky dynamics of relationships (of all types) while remaining exceptionally catchy. Anna Sun manages to capture the triumphs and anxieties of being alive in such a strange time. Sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes heartbreaking, their songs always seem to find an underlying sense of optimism, a reflection of their writer’s personality. Anna Sun is currently putting the finishing touches on their eponymous Photo by: Dylan Thomas debut EP.

TECHNOBEAT
How are we doing out there Good Times readers? I know many of you have been anticipating the next Technobeat column and I’m here to give it to you! First thing I want to talk about is a festival I’ve been to the last two years that is unique, well organized, and always has an amazing lineup: Hijinx Festival in Philly. Every year this festival goes above and beyond to make sure the sound quality is great, there is plenty of space for people, and breaks in between sets to do all of the things you gotta do and not feel like you’re missing anything. The production is high quality and there’s plenty of lasers to go around for everyone. This year the headliners include Griz, Excision, Alison Wonderland, Illenium, Jauz, Kayzo, and Louis the Child. And to add to the that, the rest of the lineup are all A-list artists that have been at festivals all over the country this year. A short drive or train ride will get you right where you need to be to enjoy an amazing weekend in Philly. And this year, the event lands December 30th and 31st so you know they’ll be bringing in the new year right. Plenty of tickets are still available and if you haven’t been to this event yet, it’s one I highly recommend. I want to take some time to talk about some artists I’ve been playing lately and people that have stuck out to me in the recent months. As my music taste progresses, I find myself delving into weirder and unique styles of electronic music. For me, Meso has been climbing the ranks slowly but surely. Meso focuses on what I’ll call the “bass” subgenre and makes truly mystifying sounds that hit harder than you could ever imagine. His tracks are complex and there is no effort spared while producing. It’s not uncommon to hear obscure noises and wobbles that I truly haven’t heard or seen used in the way that Meso does. I know when a new track comes out by him, I’ll already immediately add it to my liked tracks before I even listen to it. I’d say go grab yourself a nice pair of headphones or speakers, sit back, and let the bass melt you into the couch; that’s what we’re here for, right? Clozee is up next. Having just played her
By Richard Joseph Branciforte
headlining show at Red Rocks with LSDream, Opiuo, Of The Trees, and K+Lab, Clozee is solidifying herself in the scene as one of the best and truly transformative artists. Her sound is somewhat of what I’d call “jungle bass” and walks a fine line between chill, vibey bass music and a sound that will just hit you out of nowhere. Clozee tracks are there for you when you’re feeling down, when you wanna get crazy, and when you just want to sit back and groove to something that just hits different. It’s nature meets bass music and I’m 100% here for it. She’s doing something that no one else has done and her success shows that it’s not just good, it’s great. If you’re looking for shows coming up in the NYC area, I got you covered! Zhu and Shiba San are doing two nights at Avant Gardner on Nov 24th and 26th. They’ll be bringing some goods vibes to the Big Apple and together, that show will be one you don’t want to miss. Jade Cicada will be at the Kings Theatre on Nov 27th. And if you’re looking for some throwback dubstep, MUST DIE! Will be at The Studio at Webster Hall on Nov 19th

and then Feed Me on Nov 20th at the same venue. There’s a lot of great music coming to the area so don’t sleep on these sick opportunities to get back to partying out! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or comments at richiegtechno@gmail. com. Until then, keep raging my friends!

LONG ISLAND SOUNDS INDIGO GIRLS AT THE PARAMOUNT The folk-rock duo Indigo Girls are an iconic presence in the LGBTQ+ community. Known for their vocal political and social lyrics, they remained radio silent free of commentary and audience banter during their Long Island kick-off performance at Huntington’s The Paramount recently added show to their east coast stint. The lack of interaction was evident - the mixed crowd of concert goers mulled about the bars, gabbing and laughing while the Indigo Girls played in the background – akin to an Alexa device blaring through a mixed playlist. At a time when people are feeling disconnected and isolated from the pandemic and finally emerging from the doldrums to attend live performances, connecting isn’t something, it’s everything. Perhaps their latest 2020 studio album release, “Look Long” was the culprit as more seasoned fans were eager to dive deep into a plethora of nostalgic lyrics and harmonics – though at times, vocals suffered, too.
ERNIE AND THE BAND AT BEAU’S
On Halloween eve in quiet Greenlawn, where Beau’s Bar is the coolest hippie hangout this side of Cucamonga, up and coming stars Ernie and the Band debuted numerous brand new songs along with sizzling classic cut covers that excited and delighted the packed house of costumed crazies. Dressed in orange prison jumpsuits, Ernie and the Band aptly opened the show with a quickie campy version of Thin Lizzy’s “Jailbreak,” which steamrolled into new song “Everyone’s a Winner,” which exploded into The Band’s “The Shape I’m In.” With all the Ernies dancing (Fans of the band are called Ernies) the next hour plus jam featured an “Eyes of the World” tease into a raucous “Not Fade Away” into a second “Eyes” tease into “China Cat” into lead singer, guitar slinger John Witt’s gritty soaring vocals on “Midnight Rider” into another melodic original, “Pride” into a Promontory Rider/I’m Getting Closer mashup, back into “China Cat” and finally “I Know You Rider” with ringleader, host Beau onstage singing along. The entire set tighter than Lizzo in spandex. The second set opened with bassist Rob Seck’s frenetic scat vocals layered neatly over creative Zappaesque changes subtly laced by the guitar mastery of
When long-time collaborators Amy Ray and Emily Saliers dug into their near four-decade songbook, the classics, “Closer to Fine,” “Least Complicated,” and “Galileo” a spark ignited and woke the often-subdued crowd. With the energy peaking at the encore, and the audience finally on their feet, the overall performance was rocky at times, and satisfying at best. Twenty-four hours changed everything. During Wednesday’s performance (a previously re-scheduled pre-pandemic show) the girls opened with “Least Complicated,” and The Paramount became energized. Pulling from their earlier albums, “Rites of Passage” and “Swamp Ophelia,” the Indigo Girls of years past emerged and so, too, did their fandom – with forgiveness to Emily for several failed efforts in reaching a sustained falsetto. Something magical happened on night two - fans were singing, some were belting lyrics, and all that was wrong in the world seemed to be all right, even if for only 90 minutes. - Jennifer A. Uihlein
Will Bart, all climaxing in the catch phrase of new song “You’re Freakin’ me out.” This morphed into Talking Heads “Crosseyed and Painless” into beautiful new song “Antonia” featuring keyboard wizard Alex Diachok on lead vocals. Then “Jack Straw”raced into a “One Way Out/ Goin up the Country” mashup into “Lovelight.” Ernie and the Band steadfast originals “Dead Man Walking”
and “Oh Yeah” finished off the stellar 4 hour performance. With a growing catalogue of intricate original songs, all anchored by rock solid drummer Anthony Damato, it is only a matter of time before Ernie and the Band are electrifying much bigger crowds. Who’s Ernie? You are. You just don’t know it yet. - Henri@Deadventures.com

WOMEN WHO ROCK journey and are set to lay waste to North American venues. What a tour this was! For JINJER, this run was important on so many different levels. For one, they were one of the first tours to cross borders since the pandemic started - and many shows we were the first full capacity shows for promoters and clubs since then as well, or the first metal shows.
Amanda Cooksey
AMANDA COOKSEY RETRO MUSIC VIDEO Keeping with her signature 90’s throwback vibe, Amanda Cooksey is releasing a captivating music video for her latest single “Wish You Were Here.” From the TV set fish tank in the opening scene, to the oversized set of dice, this video is as entertaining visually as the track is musically. Directed by Kolby Copeland, viewers experience a dayin-the-life of someone just trying to make it through a breakup without leaving the house. However, if you lived in this house, why would you ever leave? Her willingness to take risks and carve out new areas of artistry places Amanda into a special category, among many of her genrebending inspirations like Taylor Swift, Julia Michaels and Walker Hayes. She has seen success with recent releases, including “What’s His Name” and “In Denial,” both of which have garnished support from Spotify and will be on her debut concept album Him.
Jinjer
JINJER NORTH AMERICAN TOUR After dropping one of the most anticipated metal albums of the year, Wallflowers which commanded the charts worldwide by achieving #1 and top 10 rankings in the US, UK, Canada, Germany and beyond JINJER wasted no time hitting the road in Europe, once again proving that if there is a chance to tour, even in these strange times, JINJER will risk almost anything to give their fans a show to remember. Now, the band has successfully completed this leg of their
MADAME MAYHEM NEW SINGLE MADAME MAYHEM released her new single “I Am More” to all digital platforms! The single was co-written by Madame Mayhem and Keith Wallen (of Breaking Benjamin). “I Am More” is very much about self empowerment, standing up for yourself and telling the world not to underestimate you. It’s a song that really gives confidence. We are all stronger than we know” says Madame Mayhem. Those who yearn for the electric catharsis Madame Mayhem of loud guitars, driving rhythms, hypnotic hooks, and the strength of shared experience have a new muse in Madame Mayhem. The Manhattan born singer/songwriter takes charge of her own anxiety, hurt, and alienation, crushing it with sheer force of will, then channeling the remaining ether into pulse-pounding anthems, instantly connecting with anyone who has struggled. She’s shared stages with Sevendust, Memphis May Fire, Fozzy, Nonpoint and Doro. Across three exceedingly wellreceived albums – Ready for Me (2017), Now You Know (2015), and White Noise (2012) – Madame Mayhem worked with Russ “Satchel” Parrish (Steel Panther), Written By Madame Mayhem and Keith Wallen, produced by Johnny K and includes Keith on guitar, Billy Sheehan on bass and Jason “JBomb” Harrison on the drums. MAJA FRANCIS EMO COUNTRY POP In taking a step back from her signature synthladen, sparkling pop music, Swedish singer and songwriter Maja Francis rediscovered her roots— Maja Francis and her piano—while writing songs for her full-length debut album A Pink Soft Mess. A Pink Soft Mess finds the daughter of a record store owner embracing her melancholy and emotional country-pop sound which matches brilliantly with the album’s shimmering pink design themes—fitting for an artist often described as “Emo Dolly Parton.” Recorded with and produced
by Johannes Runemark and David Wikberg together with Maja Francis. A Pink Soft Mess opens with the previously released single, “Anxious Angel,” which fans may have heard on Netflix’s acclaimed series Love & Anarchy. “This song is to all my fellow anxious angels,” says Francis. “To make us feel less lonely.” “Tiny Tornados” comes next; the first song Francis wrote on her way back to loving music again. “I opened up to fall in love with writing songs and singing them again,” she recalls of the writing of “Tiny Tornados.” “It’s also kind of a tribute to my ADHD, and how it feels to live with the constant ups and downs.” When it’s all said and done, A Pink Soft Mess is distinctive, emotional, personal; the result of a variety of strong sources of inspiration, experiences, and collaborations. With this new material, Francis has abandoned the world where music creation is captivated by demands and expectations and where commercial success becomes the only significant point of assessment. Now, when Francis returns with her new music, it comes straight from the heart. ELKE PERFORMING AT ELSEWHERE Elke is the moniker of Nashville musician and model Kayla Graninger. Her debut album No Pain For Us Here marks a colorful artpop rebirth for the singer-songwriter Elke who let go of her creative crutches after working with producer/ multi-instrumentalist Zac Farro (Paramore, Halfnoise). On previous releases – 2018 debut EP Bad Metaphors (produced by Shawn Everett: The War on Drugs, Local Natives, The Killers) and last year’s follow-up EP Visitors – Graninger aimed to break down barriers of gender roles, utilizing the low end of her vocal register, inspired by songwriters like Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen. Graninger has been writing music since her freshman year of high school and made a pivotal move to New York City at the age of 17 where she quickly immersed herself in the East Village and Lower East Side scene, playing gigs under a handful of monikers while making money as a professional model. “When I started adapting my writing into my music as an adult,” adds Graninger, “I knew I had something I could be proud of, and chase to no end.” As she discovered her artistic voice, Graninger arrived at Elke, the name of her mother and grandmother who had passed before having the chance to ever meet her.

RHYTHM TRACKING
With Jimi LaLumia
CHARLIE WATTS The recent death of Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts came as a surprise even though it shouldn’t have been; the band has always been a death defying, hard living ensemble who serve as a stereotype of the rock and roll lifestyle, a position that they earned the hard way; by actually living it instead of just posing to maintain the image. Watts style was focused, dynamic and ultimately iconic, and he was never one who seemed to crave the spot light; that had always been Jagger’s domain, and then, later on, Keith Richards’. RIP Charlie. MCCARTNEY SAYS Paul McCartney has tossed his hat back into the ring recently , resuming the decades old, ‘does anyone care anymore’, Beatles vs. Stones saga. In a case of bad timing, recent statements appeared in the same time frame as Charlie Watts’ death. In an interview which brought up their old rivalry, Paul dubbed The Stones “a blues cover band”, perhaps trying to stoke up some attention- getting and some headlines, which seems to have worked, but this has been going on for quite some time, actually since the mid 1960’s. I recall an interview in Hit Parader Magazine back then in which Paul was asked if he was concerned about The Stones being Beatles rivals for hits on the singles chart, and he dismissed them as rivals, saying he was more concerned about The Supremes, who were indeed the biggest challengers to The Beatles in the 60’s when it came to the #1 position on Billboard’s Hot 100 (To this day, The Supremes still have more chart topping hits than any other U.S. recording group in chart history, and they knocked The Beatles out of the #1 spot more than once in the 1960’s.) SONNY VINCENT New York icon Sonny Vincent is making big noise with a great auto bio called “Snake Pit Therapy” published by Far West Press, and a banging new album with the same title. Vincent has been on the scene downtown (CBGB, Max’s. etc) since the world changing 1970’s, and it is great to see and hear him back in action while sharing a dynamic, must read history that really makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of everything. The album is on Spotify and also available in physical format (Vinyl of course..) and the book can be found via Far West Press. Great stuff, especially the ‘good old days’ recollections.
Jimi LaLumia Publicity/PR I made “Death To Disco”/Psychotic Frogs an international sensation, and work with worldwide icon Jayne County. I am available for consult on publicity/media angles for bands, actors, politics, and more. Facebook/lalumi-dia public relations

GRAMMY Award-winning southern rock, blues and country group The Kentucky Headhunters announced their latest album, That’s A Fact Jack!, released on Oct. 22 via BFD/Audium Nashville. The project marks the Headhunters’ first album of brand new material in half a decade. Blame it on the shutdown. When The Kentucky Headhunters watched their 2020 dates go up in smoke, they knew with or without live dates, they’re a band, and bands have to play. After a half century of coming together at Mama Effie’s Practice House, first as Itchy Brother, then The Kentucky Headhunters, as well as watching next generation hard rockers Black Stone Cherry come into their own sound, the idea of not making music wasn’t something they could stomach. From the first drum crack and building pound of the title track, “That’s A Fact, Jack,” there’s a plea to come to our senses, drill down and find ways to come together. That notion of coming together informs the hip-checking shuffle of “How Could I,” a more personally beseeching song of apology and fixing it with some searing guitar and a tumbling backbeat. Indeed, That’s A Fact Jack! may be The Kentucky Headhunters’ most coherent, yet eclectic album ever. Whether the creeping blues-burner “Gonna Be Alright,” the sinewy, sensuous “Susannah,” the slow turn reckoning “We Belong Together” or the dynamic minimalist reflection “Watercolors In the Rain,” the Heads continue sowing the good vibes, the better guitar sounds and enough groove to keep the room rocking.

BITS & PIECES OZZY AND LEMMY REUNITED
OZZY OSBOURNE and his longtime friend and colleague Lemmy Kilmister of MOTÖRHEAD are reunited one last time in the new animated clip for their mash-up duet of “Hellraiser.” The clip is an homage to their decades-long friendship. Produced by Hey Beautiful Jerk and directed by Mark Szumski and Gina Niespodziani, the video opens with OZZY and Lemmy hanging out at the infamous Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset Blvd. (Lemmy’s unofficial second home) surrounded by friends. The two are transported from a calm day playing video games in the bar to a post-apocalyptic world where they battle evil forces before ultimately returning to the bar, where they pick up their video game as if nothing had occurred. The never-before-released “Hellraiser” mash-up with Ozzy and Lemmy was recently included on the digital 30th anniversary release of OZZY’s classic album No More Tears, released via Sony. In addition, “Hellraiser” will be issued as a stand-alone release on OZZY’s birthday, December 3. The special 10” black vinyl single features three versions of the song: the classic original OZZY track with MOTÖRHEAD’s version of the same song as the B-side.
