Last month the Mets held a press conference for the man they hope will replace Jacob deGrom as their ace, newly acquired free agent Justin Verlander. While it is to be seen how well Verlander will pitch for the Mets, it is safe to say the team got a personality upgrade. Granted, that is a low bar when compared to deGrom. He told the media how much he enjoys New York City and would spend time here after the baseball season was over.
Justin Verlander grew up near Richmond, Virginia. I asked him if geography played a role in accepting the Mets’ offer over that of the Los Angeles Dodgers. “It was absolutely a factor. It will be a lot easier for my family and friends to see me.” The Mets also frequently play in Philadelphia and Washington which are even closer to Richmond.
Verlander’s agent, Mark Pieper, told me that his personable client has been inundated with endorsement offers ever since word leaked out at the recent baseball winter meetings in San Diego that he would be a Met. Interestingly, Jacob deGrom never seemed interested in doing commercials which has benefitted Mets slugger Pete Alonso who has done television commercials for Citi Cards, Car Shield, and BMW.
BOWLING
BRING IN THE NEW:
So much has been going on in bowling since our last column, we’re going to have to cram all the news into this month’s column like using a shoehorn to make those pesky house shoes fit, so here we go… As always, New Year’s weekend brought the annual New Year’s Tournament for the Long Island Generations Bowling Tour (LIGBT) at AMF Garden City Lanes as a whopping 132 entries packed the center for a four-game event. Kelvin Oats of New York City almost shot a perfect game in the final shootout (finishing with 279 scratch) and took home the handicap title worth $1,000. Finishing in second place (while seeking his second consecutive LIGBT title) was Bill Verni of West Babylon, with a 245 worth $500. Rounding out the top finishers in third place was Nicholas Cirillo of West Islip, with a 234 worth $350, and Calvin Nottingham of Deer Park, with a 225 worth $300. Jose Perez of East Elmhurst shot a scratch 300 game during the competition. The LIGBT rolls on with its schedule of regular sport shot tournaments at Herrill Lanes in New Hyde Park as well as house shot events all over Long Island; to learn more and get involved, log on to ligbtour.com or call (702) 530-0708 …As always, the major bowling ball manufacturers are offering up new releases as the 2022/2023 league season moves into its second half.
The Yankees officially welcomed back Aaron Judge at a Yankee Stadium press conference the day after the Mets held theirs for Verlander. Judge made it clear his intent was always to play his career for the Yankees, but he had to understandably test the marketplace especially after the big season he had in 2022.
Hal Steinbrenner said he made clear to Judge he considered him to be a Yankee for life and asked him what it would take to seal the deal. The answer was a nine-year contract at $40 million per year.
The San Francisco Giants were generally acknowledged to be the Yankees’ main competitor for Aaron Judge, who as luck would have it, grew up a Giants fan in northern California.
I mentioned to Hal Steinbrenner of how John Olerud left the Mets after the 1999 season to sign with the Seattle Mariners as a free agent. Olerud and his wife were from the Seattle area. He told me a few years ago how he and his wife wanted to stay in New York but their parents instilled a ton of guilt on them. They understandably wanted to be near them and their grandchildren and the Mariners were going to make that possible.
I asked Steinbrenner if he was concerned about a similar scenario playing out with Aaron Judge. “I absolutely was worried,” he candidly replied.
Since parents generally act the same way when they can be near their grandchildren, I asked Judge if his parents gave him “the Olerud business.” Judge hesitated to answer but then finally relented, “You know how it is!” he said with a sheepish smile.

The Yankees have done a good job making New York City’s postseason college game, the Pinstripe Bowl, a holiday week tradition. This year Bad Boy Mowers replaced New Era as the game’s corporate sponsor. I asked Yankees president Randy Levine if he was concerned about the viability of the Pinstripe Bowl when New Era its sponsorship commitment. “No, we’re the Yankees. We weren’t worried,” he succinctly replied.

GEORGE JONES: STILL PLAYIN’ POSSUM
As Nancy Jones announced ‘Still Playin’ Possum: Music & Memories of George Jones,’ which will include performances by Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jamey Johnson, Justin Moore, Lorrie Morgan, Mark Chesnutt, Michael Ray, Sam Moore, Tanya Tucker, Trace Adkins, Tracy Byrd, and Tracy Lawrence taking place at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, on Tuesday, April 25th, nobody could imagine the excitement that would surround this event.
Travis Tritt and Wynonna have been added to the all-star lineup to perform. A special collaboration between Jamey Johnson and Wynonna will honor one of George Jones and Tammy Wynette’s hit songs.
In addition, Nancy Jones will be hosting a VIP dinner the night before the concert event at the Von Braun Center Ballroom. Tickets are $200 and will include a sit-down meal as well as a photo opportunity with Nancy.
JENNA TORRES BRINGS THE HEAT
As we move through the dead of winter, country singer-songwriter Jenna Torres is turning up the heat. “Stirring Embers,” the latest single from her upcoming album Heaven & Hurt, explores what happens when a romantic spark rekindles and ignites a wildfire.
From the opening notes, there’s no denying the Fleetwood Mac vibe of this country-rock stomper. The story will be a familiar one to anyone who’s had a steamy love affair with someone they just couldn’t quit: when that person unexpectedly reappears, it can be impossible to keep your passion in check even when your brain is telling you no.
The song and sensual video move through the spectrum of emotions — the hurt, regret, and determination that quickly dissolve in the face of desire.
From breathtaking highs to searing heartache and hurdles, Torres is known for opening up laying it all on the line in her music, including the recently-released singles, “Prayers Up,” “Just A Mountain,” and “Tennessee Heat.” Heaven & Hurt is the followup to Jenna’s 2021 album, All Heart.
TAYLER HOLDER CMT’S NEXT UP NOW ARTIST
Country Break-out Artist, Tayler Holder keeps feeling the Nashville love with CMT, Up and Country’s Awards and Authority Magazine’s Nashville’s Rising Star.
Holder is settling his proverbial boots in Music City and being embraced by Nashville’s Top Country Music Channel CMT by announcing Tayler as this month’s NEXT UP NOW ARTIST with his new video ‘DRIVE.’ ‘DRIVE’ has felt the momentum from its Nov 11th release, co-written by Tayler Holder, Shay Mooney, Daniel Ross, Benjy Davis, Simon Jay and Luke Shrestha and produced by Daniel Ross and Chapters (Simon Jay and Luke Shrestha). If this wasn’t exciting enough Tayler also was nominated by Up N Country Awards for Top Artist of the Year and Top Male Artist of the Year.
His upcoming single “Marry You” will hit on January 27th. The love song is ripe for being a Valentine’s Day favorite as Holder describes it, “I wrote this song about meeting an individual and falling in love with them. Finding someone I can spend those special moments with for the rest of my life. Getting married and starting a family has always been something I’ve wanted, and I think this song exemplifies that. I truly can’t wait till I meet the girl that makes this come true for me and I hope that my audience can feel the same emotions I do when I hear this song.”

MICHELLE “PULSE”
NYC-based collective MICHELLE released their new single “PULSE” which premiered via Clara Amfo’s “First Play” on BBC Radio 1 in the UK. The track arrives with a visualizer designed by Juliet Bryant (Justin Vernon, Japanese Breakfast, Death Cab for Cutie).
Of ‘PULSE,’ MICHELLE shares: ‘PULSE’ is for release and for some sharp and glowing feeling when you lock eyes with a lover. ‘PULSE’ is for the dance floor. When the heat is cranked from moving bodies and a shared wanting, ‘PULSE’ is playing.”
‘PULSE’ follows the release of four live videos – “MY FRIENDS,” “FIRE ESCAPE, SPACED OUT, PHASED OUT”, and “NO SIGNAL” Directed by filmmaker Greg Corn, the acoustic live takes were filmed on the rooftop and fire escape of band member Jamee Lockard’s NYC apartment.
BROADWAY & OFF BROADWAY: THE
EXPERIMENTAL BAND PURE ADULT
Pure Adult are a Brooklyn-based experimental rock duo formed by Jeremy Snyder and Bianca Abarca. At the centre of their music is the far left political ethos and DIY attitude the pair share. Their new single, ‘Hot Crusade’, is a furiously cynical dismissal of a hope for change. The song is a nod towards the 80s-era evangelical revisionist concept of a “crusade” as well as an indictment of the political centre in how it constantly stalls, choosing momentary safety for themselves at the expense of the poor, both present and future.
Having grown up in the unusually sheltered environment of a church-turned-cult, Snyder has always found himself drawn to the harsh, dissonant music that was off limits during his formative years. In 2017, he and contemporary dancer and visual artist Bianca Abarca formed Pure Adult, who released their debut EP, Pure Adult I, in 2019. Now they are set to release their debut album, Pure Adult II, on January 27th via Fat Cat Records.
Foregoing the clean polish of professional studios for various bedrooms, basements and empty restaurants along America’s East Coast, Pure Adult’s dedication to creating challenging yet captivating rock songs has earned them an ever expanding following, playing shows across the US as well as touring the UK.
NEW YEAR BEGINS
With 16 shows closing at the end of 2022 into February 2023, including the Tony-winner “A Strange Loop” and “The Music Man,” “Take Me Out” (February 5), “Between Riverside and Crazy” and “Ohio State Murders” (February 12) there are still plenty of new productions to look forward to.
Tony-winners Nathan Lane and Danny Burstein and Olivier-winner Zoë Wanamaker star on Broadway in “Pictures From Home,” adapted by playwright Sharr White from the late Larry Sultan’s 1992 autobiographical photo memoir in which he explores photography’s role in creating familial mythologies, and looks underneath
his picture-perfect family to reveal hidden secrets. (Studio 54) www.picturesfromhomebroadway.com
Academy Award-winner Jessica Chastain returns to Broadway in playwright Amy Herzog’s “radical” new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s 1879 groundbreaking drama “A Doll’s House,” about a wife stymied by gender roles, economic injustice and deceit. “Succession’s” Arian Moayed plays her husband. Okieriete Onaodowan (“Station 19”) Jesmilee Darbouze, Tasha Lawrence and Michael Patrick Thornton round out the cast under Jamie Lloyd’s direction. Previews begin February 13. (Hudson Theatre)
https://www.thehudsonbroadway. com/whatson/a-dolls-house/ Katie Holmes, Sarah Cooper, Lucy Freyer, Dave Klasko, and Eddie Kay Thomas star in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s premiere of Ann Ziegler’s “The Wanderers,” directed by Barry Edelstein. The play explores the relationships between two very different couples – newly married Orthodox Jews and a famous novelist whose marriage is put to the test when he receives an email from a movie star (Holmes) Previews begin January 26. (Laura Pels Theatre) https://www. roundabouttheatre.org
Off Broadway’s Irish Repertory
Theatre presents Samuel Beckett’s 1957 tragicomedy “Endgame,” starring the great John Douglas Thompson as a blind, chair-bound man reduced to living in one room with only his aging, legless parents and his servant (Bill Irwin) as company as he waits for the inevitable end. In the Irish Rep’s studio theater, Michael Mellamphy stars in Ronan Noone’s “The Smuggler” a “thriller in rhymed verse” about an Irish immigrant trying to make it as a writer at a Massachusetts artists’ colony. Hope everyone has enjoyed their holiday season and is ready to get back into the swing of things with some awesome music and events coming their way in the very near future.
If you want something new and fresh, a brand new Brooklyn nightclub called SILO will be opening up in East Williamsburg at 90 Scott Ave. NYC promoter duo Alex Neuhausen and Lilly Wolfson are embarking on a new journey, pouring three years of planning, fundraising and hard work into SILO: an immersive, carbon neutral, multi-genre music and event space.
Opening on February 10th, 2023, SILO has teased an exciting lineup of DJs, including the mesmerizing sounds of Josh Wink, the grooves of acid techno artist Hiroko Yamamura, and a special all-nighter with house music purveyor Eli Escobar.
Though a music venue at its core, SILO is not just a club - it’s a dream in a tunnel, a place for people to experience a temporary suspension of reality. It’s engineered to draw your eye upward, with a ceiling that feels more like sky than an interior nightclub wall.
Alex also holds a PhD in electrical engineering and utilized his experience when building out the sound, lighting, and projection for SILO, designing it to be a sort of human terrarium. The venue is built to give techs control over its internal atmosphere and proportions, with modular fixtures and a malleable layout that lets it be host to as few as 50 and as many as 500 guests.
The number of new venues in this area continuously climbs higher and SILO will be there for you to make a new home.
If you’re craving the wubs, NYC has you covered this upcoming month with a plethora of shows. Barely Alive makes his stop as Webster Hall on January 28 supported by Hi I’m Ghost and Infekt. Barely Alive is one of the OGs in the dubstep scene and the fact he’s still around is a testament to that. Dirt Monkey and Jantsen will be stopping by The Brooklyn Monarch on February 3 to bring their wonky style to the big stage on their full circle tour and man am I excited about this. Two of my favorites coming together to delivery what is undoubtedly one of the best duos of our time. If you want some more unique styles in your life, Boogie T makes his way to Webster Hall on February 17 supported by Notixx and Sodown. These three put together hit multiple corners of the genre. Sodown brings the funk vibes and live saxophone performance to the stage. Notixx makes you feel like your swimming through a vat
of slime being covered in the grimiest of sounds. Check ‘em out, you’ll be glad you did.
For some vibey electronic, you can see Gryffin at Avant Gardner on January 20. One of the early comers in the future bass style, Gryffin knows how to take his audience on a roller coaster of emotions and energy, creating an engaging, uplifting, and addicting experience. He plays a few different instruments including guitar and piano and his sets will have plenty of live features to them to satisfy that itch. If house music is more your style, Christ Lorenzo will be coming through Elsewhere in Brooklyn on February 3 with those hot tracks. Chris Lorenzo is one of a handful of house artists I enjoyed as he is no stranger to superb energy and top tier song selection. The beats will hypnotize your feet to keep them shuffling at 128bpm until the wee hours of the morning.
After not releasing much music in 2022, Skrillex has released his first track of 2023 with Fred again… and Flowdan bringing some stylistically on point production and a bass feel to it. It’s got all the things that we know and love Skrillex for and is a unexpected but welcome surprise. The man has also teased two new album releases this year by cryptically posting “QFF/ DGTC 23” on his social platforms. If the rumor is true, we may have quite a lot to listen to in the coming months.
Hope you enjoyed this one as much as I did. As always, feel free to reach out to richiegtechno@ gmail.com and give me your thoughts. Keep raging my friends!

JAZZ LOFT YOUNG AT HEART SERIES
The Jazz Loft, 275 Christian Avenue in Stony Brook, will be resuming its popular Young at Heart daytime concert series on February 1 when the Loft pays homage to Black History Month with the spotlight on African American women of song—Sarah Vaughan; Billie Holiday; Dinah Washington; and Ella Fitzgerald. The Ward Melville Heritage Organization is a co-sponsor of the concert series.
The band will feature Jazz Loft founder Thomas Manuel and the Young at Heart Trio, with Manuel on cornet; Steve Salerno on guitar; and Keenan Zach on bass. All concerts are from 1-2 p.m. for the discounted price of just $10.
“The contributions by Black musicians, singers and composers to the art of Jazz are infinite,” said Manuel. “We are proud to be highlighting some of the leading ladies of song in February with our ‘Here’s to the Ladies’ Young at Heart concert. The artistry and impact of vocalists like Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Ella Fitzgerald is everlasting.”
The Jazz Loft is located just 90 minutes from New York City and is the only music venue on Long Island that features exclusively Jazz music.
JAZZ QUARTET EAST AXIS
The adventurous New York City quartet East Axis announced that their second album No Subject will be released on January 27 through Brother Mister Productions, Christian McBride’s Mack Avenue Music Group imprint. No Subject will arrive with its first surprise in the line-up, the addition of chameleonic multi-reedist Scott Robinson, who joins founding members Matthew Shipp (piano), Kevin Ray (bass) and Gerald Cleaver (drums) for this exploratory second outing. Along with the announcement, East Axis shared the first single from the record, “Metal Sounds.”
Another major shift from Cool With That, East Axis’ 2021 debut, is the brevity of many of the pieces on the band’s follow-up. The first album included one tune that stretched to nearly half an hour, and only two that clocked in under ten minutes. No Subject comprises a dozen tracks, only two of which squeak past the ten minute mark, with several coming in at less than three minutes.
DAVE STRYKER TRIO “PRIME”
Fresh off their summer tour opening for Steely Dan, Stryker releases Prime—the first recording featuring his working trio. Along with Jared Gold on organ and McClenty Hunter on drums, Stryker offers eight new compositions and the beautiful standard “I Should Care.” From the burning title track “Prime” to songs penned for his first boss Jack McDuff (“Captain Jack” and “Dude’s Lounge”) as well as “Mac” for his drummer and the original trio version of “Hope”.
“In October of 2020 my long-standing trio of organist Jared Gold and drummer McClenty Hunter was booked to play a concert out of town. Due to the pandemic, in lieu of traveling we were given the opportunity to tape a show that could be streamed by the venue. Inspired by getting the chance to play together again after eight months in lockdown and knowing we would be in the studio, I was motivated to write an album of new music—my first featuring this trio exclusively.” Stryker recalls.
“We decided we would record live in the studio with just one take per song and no overdubbing. The connection, interplay and fire of the group was captured on that day and we’re happy to now share with you the music of our trio.”

OBITUARY ‘DYING OF EVERYTHING’
Legendary Florida Death Metal stars OBITUARY return with their highly anticipated new album, ‘Dying of Everything’, out January 13 on LP/CD/CS/Digital via Relapse Records!
Like just about every album in OBITUARY’s vast catalog, ‘Dying Of Everything’ is instantly memorable; it’s a skill that OBITUARY have only improved upon over the years. It’s unusual for a band that’s been around since the ’80s to be doing some of their best work in the 2020s, but that’s exactly what OBITUARY have accomplished through their do-it-yourself attitude and relentless touring on a worldwide level.
Obituary
‘Dying Of Everything’ destroys in the time-honored tradition of early OBITUARY classics ‘Slowly We Rot’ and ‘Cause of Death’ while maintaining the killer studio sound that the band has been perfecting in their own studio since 2007’s monstrous ‘Xecutioner’s Return’.
POLKA PUNK/SKA RUSSKAJA
The holidays are over, so get up, couch potato! High voltage party polka virtuosos RUSSKAJA provide the perfect soundtrack to get you moving with their new album, ‘Turbo Polka Party’, out February 3, 2023 via Napalm Records. Once again mixing elements of punk, ska, polka and metal, the upcoming record is their most danceable and hard-hitting studio album to date.
Russkaja adds a perfectly addictive new track “Shapka” (the name for a Russian fur cap)! The multinational musicians conjure the likes of nu metal legends Limp Bizkit in their MTV heydays, blending addictive beats, chunky riffs and raucous rap interludes with upbeat potete and tuba blasts - uniting the best of both worlds. Along with a new lyric video, the catchy single lines right up with RUSSKAJA fan favorites.
Is it the mighty Fred Durst you can hear in RUSSKAJA’s new single “Shapka”? Or is it guitarist/songwriter Engel Mayr giving the song an unmistakable nu metal twist with his voice? Check it out and let us know if you can find Fred Durst in the brand-new track!
METALLICA 72 SEASONS NEW ALBUM
Metallica 12th studio album: 72 Seasons will be available April 14th via the band’s own Blackened Recordings. Produced by Greg Fidelman with Hetfield & Ulrich, and clocking in at over 77 minutes, the 12-track 72 Seasons is Metallica’s first full length collection of new material since 2016’s Hardwired…To Self-Destruct. The album will be released in formats including 2LP 140g black vinyl and limited edition variants, CD and digital—for a full listing of configurations, pre-orders and further information, go to metallica.com/72-seasons-info.
72 Seasons is heralded by first single “Lux Æterna,” a short, sharp blast that distills 40 years of Metallica into three and a half minutes. “Lux Æterna” is available now to stream and download, and as an instant grat track with all pre-orders of 72 Seasons.
Speaking on the concept of the album title, James Hetfield said: 72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.”

BONO ‘STORIES OF SURRENDER’
Live Nation announced a Spring 2023 run of eight dates for Bono’s critically acclaimed ‘Stories of Surrender’ at New York’s iconic Beacon Theatre, starting April 16th.
The announcement of Bono at The Beacon comes following unprecedented demand for ‘Stories of Surrender’ - a show that left both audiences and critics cheering for more.
‘Stories of Surrender,’ produced by Live Nation and directed by Willie Williams, marks the release of a memoir in which one of the world’s most iconic artists writes for the first time about what and who brought him success, while at the same time revealing his “...childhood insecurity, which is your only security” as a performer, and the faith that sustains him.
Bono will once again be joined by musicians Gemma Doherty (Harp, Keyboard, Vocals) and Kate Ellis (Cello, Keyboard, Vocals), as well as Musical Director Jacknife Lee for an evening of “words, music and some mischief...”
Tickets are available at: www.ticketmaster.com/bono. All tickets purchased online will be delivered as secure mobile tickets. There will be a four-ticket limit per person.

THE BAD ENDS DEBUT ALBUM
The Bad Ends released their debut album, The Power and the Glory, on January 20th via New West Records. The nine-song set was produced by Mike Albanese of Maserati and The Bad Ends in the band’s hometown of Athens, GA, a city that remains a breeding ground for all things alternative (and is the famous homebase of B-52’s, R.E.M, Pylon, The Elephant Six Recording Company, and more).
The Bad Ends feature Mike Mantione of 90s Athens favorites Five Eight on vocals & guitar, Dave Domizi on bass & vocals, Geoff Melkonian of the Josh Joplin Group on keyboards & vocals, Christian Lopez on guitars & mandolin, and in his first full-time band since leaving R.E.M. in 1997, Bill Berry on drums. The debut album was recorded, produced, mastered, and manufactured entirely in Athens, GA and also features appearances from Sean
Dunn of Five Eight and John Neff of Drive-By Truckers.

MARIAH CAREY COMIC BOOK
“Female Force: Mariah Carey,” written by Michael Frizell, with art by Pablo Martinena, is a 22-page comic book available in print and digitally on multiple platforms. The book is available in hardback with a cover by famous comic book artist Joe Phillips and paperback with a cover by Nelson Hernandez. The book is also available in a 28-page expanded holiday edition featuring a themed cover by Marvel Comics artist Yonami.
American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey is known for her dynamic onstage presence, perennial “All I Want for Christmas is You,” and her impressive fiveoctave range. Often called the Queen of Christmas and the Songbird Supreme, Carey’s rise to stardom was not without pitfalls. Read her inspirational story and see why TidalWave includes her among the other dignitaries featured in their famous Female Force series.
“We wanted to time this with the world celebrating the self-proclaimed ‘Queen of Christmas.’ As fans of Mariah Carey’s since day one, we are excited to have her be part of the Female Force line of biographies. She has an inspiring story, and to release it for the holidays seemed to be a perfect fit”, said Publisher Darren G. Davis.
MOBY WITH AMBIENT 2023
Moby returns with his semi-annual tradition of releasing a new album of ambient compositions, with ‘Ambient 23,’ a 16-track exploration of the weightless form that is ambient, weaving improvised drifting sonics out of his collection of analog gear.
Moby reflects on how he created the album: “It’s a bit different than some of my more recent Ambient records because it’s almost exclusively made with weird old drum machines and old synths from my collection, inspired by my early ambient heroes.”
In 2022 Moby launched his new label Always Centered at Night to do something uncompromising - to make emotional, atmospheric, and potentially beautiful music. With this ethos, the label brought us its debut release “Medusa”, a collaboration between Moby and Grammy-nominated artist collaborator Aynzli Jones, “On Air” with serpentwithfeet, “Fall Back” with Akemi Fox. and most recently the beautiful stripped-back orchestral “Ache For”, with José James.
BRUCE COCKBURN RARITIES
On Rarities, Bruce Cockburn is finally sharing sixteen rarely heard and newly mastered recordings with digital music consumers. These include: Two previously unreleased songs that are not included on the Rumours Of Glory limited-edition box set. It includes four remastered tracks that only appeared on tribute compilation albums dedicated to Gordon Lightfoot, Pete Seeger, Mississippi Sheiks and Mississippi John Hurt “Twilight On The Champlain Sea” featuring Ani DiFranco, was originally intended to be on Life Short Call Now and used on the Japan-only release 1966 demo recording of “Bird Without Wings,” the oldest Cockburn demo from his personal vault, later recorded by Ottawa’s 3’s A Crowd and produced by The Mamas & the Papas’ Mama Cass.
