WELCOME
DEAR FRIENDS,
Welcome to the 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards! This year the Gospel Music Association is celebrating its golden anniversary—50 years of unifying the music community that changes lives. We’re thrilled you have joined us for this historic event. Tonight the Dove Awards stage is set for Christian and Gospel artists and industry to come together for an extraordinary night of celebration! It’s the annual “family reunion” of trailblazers, musical innovators and visionaries who have dedicated their talent to throwing a lifeline to the
world. These songwriters, publishers, performers and producers have purposed to go beyond entertainment in order to encourage, inspire and spread hope through the truth of the gospel. The artists who take the stage this evening represent a vast and diverse array of music ministries who are faithfully serving in churches, camps, conferences, military bases and street corners. We salute them all and trust that the atmosphere created this evening will be one that makes us all feel connected, not by style or instrumentation, but by the Spirit of God Who binds us together. We congratulate all of our nominees and are delighted to bring so many together for Christian/ Gospel music’s biggest night. We thank the many people who have joined together to make tonight an evening to remember. Now let this golden celebration begin.

WELCOME
FROM THE GOVERNOR DEAR FRIENDS, On behalf of the great State of Tennessee, I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to the award nominees, organizers, and guests of the 45th Annual Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. Tennessee is honored, once again, to host one of gospel music’s premier events. Christian and Gospel music has a long and storied tradition in our state. Many of tonight’s nominees call the Volunteer State their home and much of the music being recognized was made here as well. The Dove Awards highlight the impact of Christian & Gospel music, recognizing the work and talent of outstanding artists. Inaugurated in 1969, and first televised in 1984, this event allows millions of Americans to join in the celebration of their remarkable achievements. I am extremely thankful for the numerous contributions that these artists have made to our great state. Again, welcome to the Dove Awards. Crissy and I send our very best wishes for a wonderful and memorable evening.
Warmest regards, Bill Haslam
FROM THE MAYOR DEAR FRIENDS, As Mayor of Music City, it is a pleasure to welcome you to Nashville as you take part in the 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Nashville is honored to be the host city of this extraordinary celebration of Christian and Gospel music. The GMA Dove Awards is a Nashville tradition that we eagerly look forward to each year. Not only is this Gospel and Christian music’s biggest night for artists and industry professionals, but also for the loyal fans present and watching at home. Congratulations to all of tonight’s nominees. Your songs encourage and inspire us daily and speak to the soul of Music City. I wish each of you a memorable evening filled with superb music and great company.
Sincerely, Karl F. Dean Mayor

SMALL SACRIFICES. BIG IMPACT. JOIN THE CLUB.
WHY MOCHA? Small sacrifices add up to make a huge impact. YOU can make a difference each month by simply giving up the cost of a few mochas. Not “into mochas? How about tacos, manicures, movie tickets... you get the idea.
WHY CLUB? The impact starts with you giving up a few mochas a month. That impact grows when you invite your friends to join you. We can make a difference in Africa by providing clean water, or uniforms and shoes for students to attend school, or supporting a former sex worker going through counseling & job training in Ethiopia. Just imagine all we can do together.
A community giving up the cost of a few mochas a month to support development projects in Africa.

WELCOME
Our hosts are two Texas boys from two different traditions with one common passion. Bart Millard grew up listening to the Gaither Vocal Band and singing hymns in church. Lecrae came up with “Ambitionz Az a Ridah” bumping 2pac and Scarface. But God saved them both and set them on a path to share His
message with the world through music. Today, both men share a passion for using the power of words to paint vivid pictures and bring listeners on an emotional and spiritual journey. Tonight, you’ll enjoy their unit y and diversit y.

“Fix My Eyes”
Written by Seth Mosley, Joel Smallbone, Luke Smallbone. Performed by for KING & COUNTRY on Run Wild.Live Free.Love Strong. “Fix My Eyes” has made its home in the Top 5 of iTunes Christian/Gospel singles since its May 1st release. It empowers listeners to honor God, live life, be bold, have compassion and to live by faith. At a very tough time, for KING & COUNTRY was forced to ask some very hard questions. Who are they: as men, as musicians? What are the things they stand for? The answer came in these lyrics: “Love like we’re not scared. Give when it’s not fair. Live life for another. Take time for a brother. Fight for the weak ones. Speak out for freedom. Find faith in the battle. Stand tall, but above it all…”
“Hello My Name Is”
Written by Matthew West, Performed by Matthew West on Into The Light “Hello My Name Is” is an anthem for those whose past is covered by the blood and who find their new and true identity as “a child of the one true king!” On an album filled with the stories of others, Matthew West penned this song inspired by a young man named Jordan who used to introduce himself as a drug addict. West says, “it was during [Jordan’s] time in Teen Challenge that he began to realize that God wasn’t
26
done with him yet, and that all of those defeating titles like ‘addict,’ didn’t have to be attached to his name the rest of his life.” West put pen to paper and the rest is history!
“Hurricane”
Written by Natalie Grant, Matt Bronleewe, Cindy Morgan Performed by Natalie Grant on Hurricane The chorus of Natalie Grant’s latest chart-topper starts out, “It’s never too late, never too far, for you to reach out, and take a hold of love…” With conviction, Grant encourages listeners to look to Jesus in the storms of life. She continues, “Step out on the edge, Don’t be afraid of it, and when you feel the rain, call His name, He’ll find you in the hurricane.” “Hurricane” reminds us that there is hope in every storm, at every place in life. As if being a touring artist wasn’t enough, Grant also hosted the matchmaking GSN show, “It Takes a Church” which was picked up for a second season and made her big screen debut in the movie, “Persecuted.”
“I Can Trust Him”
Written by Wayne Haun, Joel Lindsey Performed by The Perrys on Into His Presence The rich Southern Gospel legacy of The Perrys is alive and well in “I Can Trust Him.” The crowing glory of their Into His

Presence project, this tune is truly worthy of acclaim. “I Can Trust Him” is also fitting in light of group member, Tracy Stuffle’s recent stroke and current recovery as well as the recent departure of their lead singer, Joseph Habedank. It proves that even when life throws us curveballs and downright tragedies, we can still put our trust in an unwavering God. This cover of this Cathedrals’ classic has paved the way of success for the entire Into His Presence project that “no doubt came from the Lord.”
“Lord I Need You”
Written by Christy Nockels, Daniel Carson, Jesse Reeves, Kristian Stanfill, Matt Maher, Performed by Matt Maher on All the People Said Amen “Lord I Need You” rings with the ageold truth of its predecessor “I Need Thee Every Hour” written in 1872, yet encompasses the contemporary sound of modern worship. Written by a team of gifted co-writers for the 2011 Passion Conference, the mission of the song was to lead believers young and old to acknowledge their moment-by-moment dependence on God. As recorded on Matt Maher’s All the People Said Amen, the song features the background vocals of Audrey Assad. A beautiful declaration of dependence and faith, this song is one that individual worshippers and congregations alike can sing with devotion.

“Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)”
Written by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, Salomon Ligthelm, Performed by Hillsong UNITED on Zion This groundbreaking song has spent more than 50 weeks atop Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs and continues to be a personal anthem for many but just as the message of the song is about following God despite the waves of uncertainty, fear and doubt, the sound of this song follows that same trajectory. In a dramatic turn of styles from the rockerstyle worship that Hillsong UNITED had been known for to an electronic sound characterized by synthesizers and bass lines, Hillsong UNITED’s Zion proves that this band is willing to proverbially walk out on unchartered musical waters if that’s where the Master calls them. The therapeutic lead vocal performance from Taya Smith has been emulated in churches and on YouTube accounts everywhere, but it is singularly unique and fitting to the song. “Oceans” is the first #1 Billboard Hot Christian Songs single for Hillsong UNITED.
“Overcomer”
Written by David Garcia, Christopher Stevens, Ben Glover Performed by Mandisa This two-time GRAMMY Award winner’s single “Overcomer” made its debut on Good Morning America on September 5, 2013 and is “all about fighting adversity.” “I’m in a new place and I want to proclaim some things to my listeners and one of them is that they are overcomers,” said Mandisa. She goes on to say, “Whether or not you feel it, it’s
28
a fact…. In John 16:33 Jesus said that He overcame the world… Jesus lives inside of all who have asked Him to be their Lord and Savior…. That is what makes you an overcomer.” “You might be down for a moment, feeling like it’s hopeless, that’s when He reminds You, that you’re an overcomer…” These lyrics remain in our ears and hearts as “Overcomer” hit #1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart!
“Revival”
Written by Kenna Turner West, Karen Peck Gooch, Don Poythress Performed by Karen Peck and New River on Revival “Revival” takes us back to a time of white tents, prayer meetings, kneeslapping, “toe-tappin,’” Holy Ghost services of yesteryear. And yet this bluegrass-inspired favorite is relatable to listeners today. Penned along with veteran songwriters Kenna Turner West and Don Poythress, Karen Peck no doubt reflected on her childhood memories when penning this song. “New River” is made up of Karen’s sister, Susan and tenor, Jeff Hawes. The title track on Karen Peck and New River’s latest album, “Revival” crosses denominational, cultural, and color lines and happily declares the one thing churches everywhere pray for: revival.
“Say Amen”
Written by Jason Cox, Michael Farren, Kenna Turner West, Performed by Brian Free & Assurance on Unashamed “Say Amen” was not long in finding its way to the #2 spot on the Singing News Magazine’s Top 80 Chart. As an extremely emotional piece for the singers and listeners alike, the crowd

always responds well to this piece. “If there’s anybody here who’s found Him faithful, anybody here who knows He’s able, say ‘amen,’ and if there’s anybody here who’s seen His power, anybody here brought through the fire, say ‘amen,’ anybody here found joy in the middle of sorrow, Just say ‘amen!” One can’t help but be affected by this piece and really, by God’s faithfulness. This Southern Gospel favorite, sung in perfect quartet harmony, will certainly make you want to “Say Amen.”
“That’s Why”
Written by Ernie Haase, Wayne Haun, Joel Lindsey, Performed by Ernie Haase and Signature Sound on Glorious Day “That’s Why” featured on the Glorious Day project is a beautifully penned ballad, well-suited to this Southern Gospel quartet. The lyrics tell of the redemptive power of the blood and the love of the mighty Savior. “I am living in the promise there is grace for every need. He knew that we needed a Savior that’s why His precious blood flowed and I do believe every drop was for me and that’s why I love Him so.” Ernie Haase and Signature Sound share that they have been very encouraged by their chart-topping numbers as well as the overall response to “That’s Why” and believe that it is a firm indicator they should keep doing what they’re doing!

“ FIX MY EYES”
by for KING & COUNTRY
Dervent/Curb | Producer: Seth Mosley

Through illness, the early years of marriage and family, and the general stress of life and life on the road, the entire team that comprises for KING & COUNTRY was forced to evaluate their lives and the overall purpose of the group. The collective values and priorities which rose to the top of this discussion made their way into songs like “Fix My Eyes.” Their battle became beautiful and is now embodied in the lyrics of this song. “Fix My Eyes” was the first single from their latest project, RUN WILD. LIVE FREE. LOVE STRONG.

“ HURRICANE”
by Natalie Grant

“Hurricane” debuted at #1 on the Top Christian Albums chart and #17 on the Billboard 200 but vocal powerhouse, Natalie Grant didn’t just set out to write hits; she chose to be honest. Speaking of her inspiration for the song, she says, “People think sometimes every life situation resolves itself easily and we come out happy with a little bow on it…. We always want the storm to stop, but instead [Jesus] says that He’ll come to us in the middle of it. That imagery inspired the song.” “Hurricane” reminds us that despite the tumult there is hope and a brighter day is just around the corner.
“ I LOVE THE LORD”

Hillsong Music/Sparrow Records | Producer: Michael Guy Chislett

The chorus proclaims, “And I will call upon Your name, and keep my eyes above the waves, when oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace, for I am Yours and You are mine.” Hillsong UNITED started as the youth band for Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia.
“ LORD I NEED YOU”

Matt Maher’s “Lord I Need You” was an instant favorite! Joining the hymns of the past with the anthems of the present, this song bridges the gap between generations beautifully. Of the song’s message, Maher says, “The whole idea of being dependent on God is just really counter-cultural…but I think that’s sort of at the heart of the Gospel—the way of freedom is through surrender.” “Lord I Need You” and its sincere message of reliance upon God resonates far and wide. Adding supporting vocals and adlib on the song is fellow singer/songwriter, Audrey Assad.
“ OVERCOMER”
by Mandisa
Sparrow Records | Producer: Christopher Stevens & David Garcia

“ I CAN ONLY IMAGINE”
by Tamela Mann
TillyMann Music Group | Producer: Myron Butler
Tamela Mann’s power-packed vocals and obvious love for God have moved listeners since she first burst on the scene as a member of Kirk Franklin & The Family in the early 90’s. Tampering with a song as inimitable as this one can be risky but Mann’s gospel-tinged rendition of the popular MercyMe hit adds a worshipful dimension to this timeless song that evokes visions of Heaven for the listener. The song build wonderfully as Mann adlibs, “Just to be in your presence Jesus...Just to hear you say well done...To bow at Your feet...I can only imagine.”
“ REVIVAL”

“ EVERY PRAISE”
by Hezekiah Walker
RCA Inspiration | Producer: Donald Lawrence
Hezekiah Walker’s albums are something of a modern day hymnal for choirs around the world! Adding to his repertoire of instant standards, “Every Praise” is quintessential Hezekiah Walker—Christexalting lyrics over catchy grooves. This song is particularly memorable after coming into the national spotlight when 10-year-old Willie Myrick’s defiant and continuous singing of the refrain led his frustrated captor to release him. The simple lyrics say, “Every praise is to our God. Every word or worship, with one accord…” In addition to being an in-demand artist, Walker is the Senior Pastor of The Kingdom Cathedral and host of “The Hezekiah Walker Show” on New York’s WLIB.

ver the past 10 years, no artist has dominated the Christian sales charts like Casting Crowns. Since their Fall 2003 eponymous album debut, they have sold more than eight million records including a string of #1 singles and a perpetual place in the Top 40 Albums and Top 40 Digital Tracks. But, their impact on the charts only mirrors impact they’ve had on the everyday people through their music. Whether singing hardhitting lyrics that provoke listeners to action (“Courageous,” “Jesus, Friend of Sinners,” “Until the Whole World Hears”) or proclaiming timeless truths that call the faithful to worship (“Who Am I”, “Voice of Truth”, “Praise You in this Storm”), Casting Crowns has written and recorded the soundtrack to millions of lives. Their 2014 release, Thrive, continues their rich legacy of impact through songwriting. Like most of Casting Crowns library of songs, Thrive is the fruit of lead singer, Mark Hall’s ministry as a youth pastor. For 22 years, Hall has served in the local church as a youth pastor. ince 1992’s The Power of Your Love, Hillsong Church has been waving the banner of worship from continent to continent and spreading a passion to make Jesus famous from generation to generation. With a style all their own, the Hillsong UNITED band has spread this fire to a new generation and continues to advance their mission: “to write songs that awaken churches and individuals to the fact that we are redeemed and called into the story of God.” Perhaps no song has awakened more people over the past year than UNITED’s “Oceans.” For more than 50 weeks, Oceans has sat atop Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs and been a personal anthem of faith to millions including actress/singer Selena Gomez whose :15 second Instagram rendition resonated with nearly 700,000 people. True to their innovative legacy, UNITED’s ZION introduced a new electronic sound to the Christian music landscape and marked a departure from the up-front electronic guitar riffs that had become a part of their sound. ow could you possibly describe an artist whose album debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200, Christian Albums, Gospel Albums and Rap Albums? The obvious answer is an “anomaly!” That’s exactly what Lecrae is and not just because of the jaw-dropping success of his new album, “Anomaly” but because of his authentic approach to life and faith which is rebranding what it means to be Christian in a world long-since jaded by the religious monicker. “I think success is being exactly what God called us to be and fighting to your death to live that out,” he says. By any standard, Lecrae has had great success in the 10 years since his debut album Real Talk was released by then fledgling, Reach Records with partner Ben Washer. On top of strong sales for each of his independent releases, Lecrae has become the face of “Christian Rap” to the hip hop world and is paving the way for a new breed of rappers who are Christians. His high profile appearances at rap events like “Rock the Bells” or on “BET’s Hip Hop Awards” have introduced hip hop culture to another expression of music that is authentically hip hop and authentically Christian at the same time— a tension as uncomfortable as it is rare.
With grace and integrity, Lecrae is building bridges of relationship with hip hop’s elite and modeling for Christians what it looks like to live like Jesus, including the pain of being misunder-

andisa has turned her struggles into empowering songs of victory that resonate with millions of fans. Indeed, “True Beauty,” “Victorious,” “Stronger,” and “Overcomer” are more than cathartic personal memoirs; they have become anthems for people of every gender, age and race who relate to her pain and find hope in the promises of healing and freedom woven into her songs. Mandisa’s name means “sweet” but her life story is filled with bitter realities. Mandisa has boldly shared her stories of being called “Medusa” by mean school children, of struggling through the aftermath of her parent’s divorce, of overcoming the emotional toll of being molested and raped, and of being publicly insulted before millions of people on American Idol. Yet, despite her painful past, Mandisa is known for her beautiful personality and irrepressible smile—not to mention her powerhouse vocals! For a person who has endured so much pain, her loving, gracious temperament is a gleaming testimony to the power of God and the freedom that comes through forgiveness. Leveraging her life for other’s good and God’s glory, Mandisa has discipled many by teaching
them to pick up the Scriptures to find their identity rather than comparing themselves to the images portrayed in the media. She has also become a rallying point for holistic living including a healthy lifestyle. EEDTOBREATHE is a happy mixture of Southern charm, rock-and-roll, and Jesus all rolled up into one. After almost succombing to the pressures of fame and nearly ending the group, NEEDTOBREATHE is back, better and stronger than ever! Their “wasteland” experience has become a wonderful journey that their loyal listeners can not only relate to, but benefit from. The group formed of born-and-bred Charlestonians, Bear and Bo Rinehart, as well as longtime friend, Seth Bolt, maintains a delicate balance between Christian and crossover, all without compromising their message. Unfortunately, they learned the hard way that their faith needed to come first in both music and business. Bear Rinehart told RELEVANT Magazine, “Things had gotten a little bit too big for us to handle, to be honest with you… Or I don’t know if it was the size of it, but it was how we were handling it. We needed to step back and make some priority changes, and we hadn’t taken the time to do that, so the pressure was just getting too great.” This misplacement of priorities which almost brought them to their breaking point has, instead,
became a catalyst into a better, clearer, focus in every aspect of their career and lives. Many of NEEDTOBREATHE’s latest songs were birthed during their cloudy-to-clear time. Longing to make a lasting impact, the group rediscovered their true calling to influence people, not just to good, but to God. Returning to their spiritual roots, NEEDTOBREATHE’s latest project Rivers in the Wasteland, based on a verse in Jeremiah, truly proves that the groups lyrics have transitioned from a place of light, inspirational tunes to deep, penetrating

For a long time, home was a place of failure because it meant that we didn’t have any shows… When you drop out of college in your early 20’s and all your friends are getting jobs and you’re the guy who lives with his parents, it’s way better to be on the road. 1 GIRL NATION Reunion Records
From coast to coast, girls (and guys!) are loving the God-honoring message and fresh youthful sound of 1 Girl Nation (1GN). Group members–Lauryn Taylor Bach, Lindsey Ciresi, Carmen Justice and Kayli Robinson–were chosen to form the new group after a nationwide search and since being selected from 15 finalists, it’s been a whirlwind of music, ministry and good times! 1GN is currently headlining the “While We’re Young Tour” joyfully sharing the message of their lead single “While We’re Young:” We’re going to save ourselves the heartache! We’re not looking back on what we wish we’d done! We’re gonna risk it all for one thing and live for Jesus while we’re young! Their eponymous debut album, released in 2013, is filled with dance-able grooves and hope-filled lyrics. Amazingly, it was recorded in just 9 days! Equally at home dishing on fashion must-haves or talking about their identity in Christ, these young ladies are a positive force for good that is reaching the hearts of young people across our land.
HILLSONG YOUNG & FREE Hillsong Music/Sparrow Records
Meet the next generation of the venerable Hillsong musical legacy: Hillsong Young & Free (Y & F). “Young & Free” is more than a catchy buzzword, its the missional message these young followers of Christ hope to infect the masses with! Y & F is an extension of Australia’s Hillsong Church’s youth group and music department. Over pulsing beats and blaring synthesizers, this talented group of singers is encouraging young people far and wide to “not despise their youth” as the Apostle Paul once said but to show others that they can be free, awakened to purpose, and committed to follow God wherever He may lead them. The Hillsong Young & Free project was announced at Hillsong’s 2013 Colour Conference and released in October of the same year. Since then, they’ve racked up slots on the U.S. Billboard charts including debuting at #22 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart. Their popular singles include “Alive,” “Wake,” and their first Spanish single, “Vivo Estás.” Hillsong Young & Free, like its predecessors, is setting the tone for worship for a new generation.

NEW ARTIST OF THE YEAR NOMINEES
ELLIE HOLCOMB Full Heart Music
Ellie Holcomb has hit the ground running! Her freshman and sophomore indie projects, Magnolia EP and With You Now, respectively hit #1 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel chart preparing listeners for her debut album, As Sure as the Sun this February. Holcomb’s music is a wonderful marriage of simple instrumentation with sincere and observant lyrics that reflect her sensitivity to the human condition. Holcomb sings about love, loneliness, worship and wonder in a way that makes it easy for listeners to sit back and take in all the truth packed into her songs. “I love sitting in God’s Word and letting music come out,” shares Holcomb. “It feels extravagant and it’s become one of my very favorite things to do.” Ellie is no stranger to good songwriting—her father is award-winning songwriter/producer Brown Bannister and her husband, Drew Holcomb headlines Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors with whom Ellie has also recorded music. A capable singer and songwriter with a heart for God and people, Ellie Holcomb is a new artist we hope to hear much more from!
LOVE & THE OUTCOME Word Entertainment
Love & The Outcome seemingly came out of nowhere, yet with their firm faith and pop tunes, they are certainly making a home for themselves in the Contemporary Christian music world. The duo comprised of husband and wife, Jodi King and Chris Rademaker, initially met while touring with Jon Buller, a fellow Canadian Christian singer. It was with him that they learned all they needed to about a singer/musician’s life on the road. And it was this knowledge that readied them to sell the bulk of their worldly possessions and maintain their true possessions: each other, their songs, their dreams and their trust in God. Jodi takes the lead on vocals and also plays keys while Chris holds down the bass guitar and adds in background vocals. It’s truly a beautiful marriage of sound and spirit. Their faith has been well-rewarded. Love & The Outcome placed #18 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers Album chart and their popular singles “He Is With Us” and “King of My Heart” have been favorites at radio.
ANDY MINEO Reach Records
New York emcee, Andy Mineo, is on the scene and already making waves for his clever flows, artistic flair and firm gospel convictions—that’s not a combination you see every day! As a rapper, Mineo’s quick wit and imaginative word-play keep listeners on edge as he takes on light-hearted topics and more serious fare with equal effect. Mineo has been a strong advocate that “Christian rappers” should be accepted in the broader hip hop community as simply rappers with a different perspective, and that his music should be judged alongside his peers for its artistic merit rather than marginalized solely because of its Christian worldview. Mineo’s Neverland debuted at #1 on iTunes, #1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart and #2 on Billboard’s Rap Albums chart, showing just how far his music’s reach has expanded since he started crafting beats and rhymes in his basement as a teenager. Mineo was made for the 21st century; he utilizes social media, online contests and YouTube for such inventive things as his “Saturday Morning Car Tunez” series which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look into his interesting world.

He set us up to win.’...God’s given us all the things that pertain to life and godliness.” With guest appearances from Fedel, Serge, KB, V. INSPIRATIONAL FILM OF THE YEAR NOMINEES
GOD’S NOT DEAD
Director, Harold Cronk | Pure Flix Entertainment

The cast of talented actors includes Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Shane Harper (Good Luck Charlie), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), and David A.R. White (Jerusalem Countdown) as well as cameos by mainstay Christian band, Newsboys, and Willie and Korie Robertson of Duck Dynasty. Standing up for his faith, the student accepts the challenge to prove to the entire class that God is, in fact, not dead. Faith is put to the test as Josh sets out to honor God and therein lies the beauty of this powerful apologetic. It has already captured the hearts of unbelievers and Christians alike. Son of God grossed more than $26 million in its opening weekend, and has grossed more than $65 million to date.
