ikela Vera es una joven que le gusta estar con sus amigas y familia, y mĂĄs si es en la playa. “El bulevar estĂĄ precioso, hay lugares que rentan bicicletas y puedes tomarte fotos mientras paseasâ€?, comenta emocionada la estudiante de Medicina.

Y es que pasar la tarde en la playa, sentir las olas del mar y comer un helado es una experiencia que todos debemos sentir. La paz que se siente en el bulevar de la ciudad de Veracruz contrasta con el espĂ­ritu de alegrĂ­a que se vive por las noches en la calle MartĂ­. “Existen dos bares que son tradicionales en Veracruz: “La Casonaâ€? y “El Candelabroâ€?; ambos tienen mĂşsica en vivo y Dj, asĂ­ que la buena fiesta estĂĄ garantizadaâ€?, expresa Mikela. “La Casonaâ€? lleva artistas invitados, como ManĂŠ de la Parra, quien estuvo en Veracruz recientemente.

Eso le da un plus a este lugar y por eso ha durado mucho, aĂąade.

ikela Vera is a young woman who enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, especially if it’s at the beach. “The boulevard is beautiful, you can rent out a bicycle and you can take photos while you walk,� the medical student said, excited.

An afternoon at the beach, feeling the waves of the sea while having ice cream, is an experience everyone should enjoy at least once. The peace and quiet one enjoys at the Veracruz city boulevard contrasts with the spirit of joy felt at night on Marti Street. “There are two very traditional bars in Veracruz: “La Casona� and “The Chandelier�; they both have live music and a DJ, so a good time is guaranteed,� Mikela says. “La Casona� often has guest performers, such as Mane de la Parra, who was recently in Veracruz. That gives the place a plus, which has kept it current for so long, she adds.

In this young lady’s opinion, joy, sincerity and warmth are defining traits of the people of Veracruz. Even phrases like “Now is the time! Green chile, you’ll bring flavor to the broth� or “I don’t need you to give it to me, just lead me to where it is� work as icebreakers in any situation. “People are witty when talking and we love having foreigners here, we are very hospitable,� she adds.

That’s why their joyful spirit spreads, and turns a get-together at “La Parroquia� into a party set to the marimba music coming from the main square.

For a romantic dinner there’s nothing like “Bistro Marti,� which offers pastas, salads, crepes and specialties. “Everything is delicious and the place is very romantic. They set candles at the table to create a special atmosphere�, Mikela explains.

Among its best-known dishes there’s the “pescado a la veracruzana� (fish served with olives, onions, tomato, garlic and spices), “arroz a la tumbada� (rice with shrimp, octopus, crab and fish) and “Xico mole� (a creamy mix made with mulato and ancho peppers, bananas, chocolate, pecans, and sugar, among other ingredients).

GASTRONOMĂ?A

En Veracruz la gente disfruta comer marisco, es comĂşn ver en las carreteras a los pescadores ofreciendo pescado y marisco fresco y de buena calidad.

Para las cenas romĂĄnticas nada como “Bistro MartĂ­â€?, que ofrece pastas, ensaladas, crepas y especialidades. “Todo es delicioso y el lugar es muy romĂĄntico. En las mesas te ponen velas para crear un ambiente especialâ€?, comenta Mikela.

Entre los platillos tradicionales estĂĄn el pescado a la veracruzana (acompaĂąado con aceitunas, cebolla, jitomate, ajo y especias); arroz a la tumbada (arroz con camarones, pulpo, jaibas y pescado) y mole xico (mezcla cremosa hecho con chile mulato y ancho, plĂĄtano, chocolate, nuez y azĂşcar entre otros ingredientes).

Hermosillo also provides a space to approach Mexican art through the Art Museum of Sonora (MUSAS), which regularly holds exhibitions, conferences, concerts and film cycles.

Zaragoza Square, the Bicentennial Square, the Catedral de la Asuncion, the municipal market, the state government palace and city hall are all located in downtown Hermosillo. These are great places to explore; the easiest way to do it is on either the Turibus or Trolebus.

ANTECEDENTE DE LA REVOLUCIĂ“N

Uno de ellos es el “Tratado de La Mesillaâ€?, en el cual Sonora perdiĂł la mitad de su territorio ante Estados Unidos. Durante la Reforma (1865) se librĂł la “Batalla de Ă lamosâ€?, cuando fueron invadidos por el ejĂŠrcito francĂŠs.

En la ĂŠpoca de la RevoluciĂłn, el Estado fue cuna del primer movimiento obrero, con la huelga de Cananea en 1906, lo que dio paso a la huelga de RĂ­o Blanco en el estado de Veracruz y, en 1910, la RevoluciĂłn Mexicana. Esto es muestra de los momentos de gran relevancia en MĂŠxico en los que Hermosillo ha estado presente.

Al visitarlo hay diez cosas que tienes que hacer. Si vas con la familia tienes que conocer el parque La Sauceda y La Burbuja Museo del NiĂąo. El primero es un parque recreativo con ĂĄreas verdes, alberca, canales y palapas, perfectos para pasar una tarde en familia. En el segundo, los niĂąos podrĂĄn ver exhibiciones interactivas distribuidas en seis salas.

Para conocer la flora y fauna del Estado visita el Centro EcolĂłgico de Sonora, en la que podrĂĄn aprender sobre los animales del desierto, selva, sabana y bosques. En verano se recomienda ir en la maĂąana y en invierno, cuando haya sol.

Con el objetivo de que los mexicanos se acerquen al arte, Hermosillo invita a conocer el Museo de Arte de Sonora (MUSAS), espacio dedicado a exposiciones, conferencias, conciertos y ciclos de cine.

En el centro de Hermosillo se encuentran la Plaza de Zaragoza, Plaza del Bicentenario, la Catedral de La AsunciĂłn, el mercado municipal y los palacios de Gobierno y Municipal, lugares ideales para disfrutar de un paseo, y la forma mĂĄs cĂłmoda de hacerlo es en TuribĂşs o TrolebĂşs.

ull of history, flora, fauna and culture, Hermosillo is a place you’ll love. It is important to note its important role in Mexican history, as for centuries it has been witness to several important events.

BEFORE THE REVOLUTION

One of them is the “Treaty of La Mesilla�, in which Sonora gave up half of its territory to the United States. During the Reformation (1865), the “Battle of Los Alamos� was fought, during the French army invasion.

By the time of the Revolution, the state was the birthplace of the first labor movement with the Cananea strike in 1906, which led to the Rio Blanco strike in the state of Veracruz and finally, in 1910, to the Mexican Revolution.

This is but a sample of the many events of great relevance for Mexico that have had their origin in Hermosillo. When you visit there are ten things you have to do. If you’re traveling with family you have to visit the La Sauceda park and La Burbuja Children’s Museum. The former is a recreational park with green areas, pool, canals and palapas, perfect for an afternoon with the family. In the latter, children will have fun with interactive exhibits in six halls. To explore the regional flora and fauna, visit the Centro Ecologico de Sonora, where you will learn about desert, jungle, savannah and forest animals. In the summer morning visits are

PASEA POR EL ESTADO

DespuĂŠs de visitar Hermosillo, conoce algunos lugares turĂ­sticos del Estado como la BahĂ­a de Kino, donde se juntan el mar, el desierto y la ciudad. De frente tendrĂĄs a la Isla TiburĂłn, en la que habita el borrego cimarrĂłn y el venado bura. Cerca de ahĂ­ se encuentra Punta Chueca, reserva de la etnia Seri.

A 20 kilĂłmetros de Hermosillo se encuentra San Pedro de la Cueva, el lugar ideal para comer platillos tradicionales y pasear a caballo entre las casas de campo. Los platillos que tienes que probar son el caldo de quelite (hoja comestible), menudo con pata (caldo con panza de res), caldo de calabazas, pozoles de res y de trigo, enchiladas sonorenses (tortitas de masa y queso baĂąadas en salsa de chile ancho), sopa de elote, carne con chile colorado, machaca (carne de res seca), carne seca y tripitas asadas, entre otros.

Y despuĂŠs de la comida, ÂżquĂŠ tal un cafĂŠ con un dulce regional? prueba la pipitoria, cubierto de viznaga, cristalizado de naranja y limĂłn, conos de dulce, trozos de caĂąa, dĂĄtil en miel, empanadas de calabaza y guayaba, coyotas (tortillas de harina doradas rellenas de piloncillo o cajeta), ponteduro (piloncillo con maĂ­z) y pastel de elote. Para finalizar tu recorrido regresa a la capital para ver una panorĂĄmica espectacular de Hermosillo, en el Mirador Cerro de la Campana. Sin duda es una buena manera de despedirte de la ciudad y regresar a casa.

After visiting Hermosillo, don’t miss out on tourist spots such as Kino Bay, where the sea, the desert and the city converge. From there you will see Isla Tiburón, home of the bighorn sheep and mule deer. Close by lies Punta Chueca, a Seri native reserve.

20 kilometers away from Hermosillo lies San Pedro de la Cueva, a perfect place to try traditional food and go horseback riding among the cottages. Some dishes not to miss include quelite broth (edible leaves), menudo con pata (beef belly broth), pumpkin soup, beef and wheat pozoles, Sonoran enchiladas (corn dough and cheese patties in chile ancho sauce), corn soup, beef with colorado chile, machaca (dried spiced beef), dried meat and grilled tripe, just to mention a few.

How about ending your meal with coffee and some regional candy? Try pipitoria, cubierto de biznaga, crystallized orange and lime, sweet cones, trozos de caña, honey dates, pumpkin and guava empanadas, coyotas (fried flour tortillas stuffed with whole cane sugar or milk caramel), ponteduro (whole cane sugar with corn) and corn cake. To complete your journey, travel back to the capital for a spectacular view of Hermosillo, in the Mirador Cerro de la Campana. It is certainly a great way to say goodbye to the city before you go home.

any dream of visiting Buckingham Palace, if only to have their picture taken with its seemingly petrified guards, looking at the Big Ben or riding a double-decker bus. The one detail to consider, and not necessarily a negative one, is the cold atmosphere, due both to the rainy weather and the behavior of the locals.

But that will change this summer with the Olympics. as Brits hold little back when it comes to sports, and we’ll see proof of that between July 27 and August 12.

In fact, the party began with the passage of the Olympic torch.

The relay, covering every continent, will make it to London on July 22 to visit six points of the capital, before finally entering the Stratford’s Olympic Stadium on opening day. We know to expect an unforgettable show. Although little is known, legendary rock band “The Rolling Stones” and “Coldplay” are expected to perform, and there are rumors that actor Daniel Craig, playing the quintessential English character, James Bond, might make an appearance.

From that moment on, music and sports will converge to offer visitors a unique moment. Hyde Park and Victoria Park, two of the largest parks in London, will hold concerts, with free access to tennis courts, basketball courts and trampolines. Moreover, both will broadcast Olympic events on giant screens. La casa cuenta con un deck de madera tropical de la región que se encuentra en el exterior y tiene perforaciones para respetar el paso de los árboles.

Como está entre los árboles, la casa pasa inadvertida e incluso la piscina, que está cerca del campo de golf, remata en un talud que le da privacidad.

a principal virtud de esta casa es respetar la naturaleza, norma que sigue el despacho Muñoz Arquitectos. Antes de construirla se hizo un análisis de los árboles que se encontraban en el terreno que resultaron ser de 52 variedades.

La residencia se divide en tres áreas separadas. En un área se encuentra el cuarto de servicio y el lavadero, en el segundo espacio están las salas de estar, recámaras, cocina y comedor, y en el último cerca del campo de golf, están la terraza techada y alberca.

Parte importante de la decoración son las esculturas, que fueron elegidas por los dueños y que dan más vida al lugar. Para crear unidad en la vivienda se trazó un eje que recorre el terreno de Norte a Sur. Así, al recorrer la casa, uno atraviesa zonas arboladas y se logra la idea del respeto y sensibilidad hacia la naturaleza.

Se usó concreto prefabricado aparente en los muros y losas de vigueta y bovedilla, para darle un acabado blanco. Los pisos interiores fueron tratados con la corteza del “chucum” (árbol endémico de Yucatán), lo que da un @LILO MB@RIF>O V JijP BI>PQF@FA>A M>O> BSFQ>O ȵPRO>P

eaujean Project está formado por las hermanas, Jenny e Ingrid Beaujean, quienes desde muy chicas se iniciaron en la música. En una entrevista para Destinos y Hoteles, las gemelas se turnan espontáneamente el teléfono para hablar de su carrera.

Muchos les preguntan si la vena musical viene de familia, pero no.

“En realidad nacimos cantando” expresa entre risas Ingrid, pero “nuestros padres no son músicos”.

Aunque cantan jazz, se dedican más al pop experimental con tintes de jazz. Ambas decidieron dedicarse a la música y estudiar en la Escuela Nacional de Música de la UNAM y fue en esa época cuando un amigo las animó a escuchar música de Sarah Vaughan, y así se enamoraron de este género.

Sin embargo, sus primeras interpretaciones fueron “Señora, señora” y “Eres tú”, que interpretaban en los festivales del Día de las Madres.

Posteriormente fueron canciones de música clásica en el Coro Infantil y Juvenil de México.

Estudiaron la Licenciatura de Jazz en la Escuela Superior de Música, una muestra de que el éxito que han ganado ha sido MLO PR BPCRBOWL #PQL PB @LKȵOJ> @LK PR M>OQF@FM>@FŃK BK I> FD Band Jazz de México.

“A los 18 años nos invitaron a cantar en la Big Band Jazz de México, ya que nos vieron en uno de los festivales que realiza la Escuela Superior de Música”. Participar en los conciertos les abrió el panorama de presentarse ante grandes escenarios. Incluso han participado en el Festival de jazz de la Riviera Maya, lo que a su consideración marcó el rumbo de su carrera.

Ellas mismas componen sus canciones, y aunque todas sean especiales, hay algunas que les gustan más, como “Amartya”, para Jenny, y “Sueños bizarros” o “Mi día” para Ingrid.

Este año se encuentran trabajando en la pre-producción de su segundo material.

They have even participated in the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival, which they believe helped consolidate their career.

They write their own songs, and while they are all special, they do have some favorites: Jenny’s is “Amartya”, while Ingrid is undecided between “Sueños bizarros” and “Mi dia”. This year they are working on pre-producing their second album as Beaujean Project.

“We like to show what we are, and the fact that people like what we do is a plus,” says Ingrid, as she hands the phone to Jenny. Being twins makes them accomplices at times, and

a nueva tecnologĂ­a, sin embargo, permite la introducciĂłn de sistemas de ahorro energĂŠtico basados en el uso de paneles solares. Si bien la tecnologĂ­a no es nueva, la diferencia radica en que desde 2007 la legislaciĂłn mexicana permite a cualquier usuario del sistema elĂŠctrico nacional generar electricidad mediante el uso de sistemas fotovoltaicos.

La corriente eléctrica continua que proporcionan los módulos fotovoltaicos se puede transformar en corriente alterna mediante un aparato electrónico llamado inversor e inyectar en la red eléctrica.

Este sistema permite reducir el consumo de electricidad, pues cada casa o negocio “crea” su propia energía y, además, está en disposición de devolver a la Comisión energía limpia que podrá utilizar en otras casas.

El componente principal de la energía fotovoltaica es el silicio, un material que posee como característica fundamental una gran conductividad. er papá no es fácil. “Yo quiero quedarme así, como estoy”, piensas millones de veces, pero en meses te conviertes en el antagonista de un hombre enfocado en su trabajo.

Donde antes estaba mi maletín, la computadora portátil, los documentos de la junta pasada, una agenda y un perfume -por si las moscas-, ahora, sin quererlo, está lleno de comprobantes de pago de leche sin lactosa, estados bancarios para ver cómo pinta el panorama, un lacito para el pelo y varias recetas médicas con fármacos que en mi vida había escuchado y que creía que eran puros mitos.

Y todo eso se une a una mente a punto de explotar, a la que antes sólo le cabía mi esposa, problemas laborales, proyectos para el futuro y, por supuesto, la idea de ser papá algún día. Ahora, como los pulmones, mi mente se ha expandido y le caben todas las etapas de la leche y las marcas de los pañales absorbentes, absorbentes plus, ultra-absorbentes o bio-absorbentes. E incluso ahora soy el rey de las secciones infantiles de las tiendas de moda.

Después de vivir hace siete meses la experiencia de ser papá, he aprendido que el verdadero reto no es tener dinero para comprarles todo lo que necesitan o desean, no es saber lo que quiere por el tono del llanto, sino que el reto es no dormirte en las reuniones de las 8 a.m., no pensar que el día va a ser soporífero luego de despertarte tres veces en la noche, que las ojeras no te lleguen hasta los pies y que el cabello se mantenga en su lugar, sin tener que rezar a diario para que así suceda. Y lo más importante, consumir tantas cremas para la cara y cuerpo para disminuir los daños de las malas noches.

Y es que la vida es tan diferente según quién la explique. Utilizando recursos hollywoodenses, cuando nació Ximena, mi hija, me sentí como “Un papá en apuros”; luego de su primer cambio de pañal me sentí como el protagonista de “Tres hombres y un bebé”. Hoy, luego de siete meses soy un Will Smith en “En busca de la felicidad”, con una hija que me quita la vida y

el tiempo, y con la que las horas extras sin pagar y los cambios de rutina son más dulces y no importa saber lo que va a pasar cada día, cada minuto.

Ya me acostumbré a cambiar pañales en el cuarto de baño de los caballeros, mirando de reojo a todo aquel que osa mirar a Ximena desnuda; a pelearme en la fila de las cajas del supermercado con 20 señoras sin nada, absolutamente nada qué hacer, para que me dejen pasar las tres papillas y las dos bolsas de pañales que llevo.

eing a dad is not easy. “I want things to stay as they are”, you think a million times, but in months you become the antagonist of man that only focuses on work. Where once were my briefcase, laptop, documents from the last meeting, my planner and cologne -just in case-, now there are receipts for lactose-free milk, bank statements to have a clue as to what the future holds, a hair ribbon and several prescription drugs I’d never heard of in my life, and which would have sounded fictional if I had anyway.

Add all that to a mind ready to explode, where there used to be room only for my wife, work problems, plans for the future and, of course, the thought of someday being a father. Now, just as lungs do, my mind has expanded and will fit all the stages of formula and the brands that carry absorbent, ultra-absorbent and bio-absorbent diapers. Now I’d even say I’m the king of children’s sections in boutiques.

After seven months of experiencing being a dad, I’ve learned that the real challenge isn’t having the money to afford everything they need or want, it isn’t not knowing what they want from the way they’re crying; the challenge is not dozing off at 8 am meetings, not thinking how sleepy you’ll be all day after waking up three times at night, keeping the dark circles under your eyes from dragging to your feet and getting your hair to stay in place without having to pray every day that it be so. And most importantly, to use up as many face creams and body lotions to reduce the damage of a terrible night’s sleep.

And the thing is that life is so different depending on who explains it. Using Hollywood resources, when

ecientemente, el gigante informĂĄtico se valiĂł de su red social Google+ para hacer pĂşblicos los detalles de lo que se conoce como Glass Project.

MostrĂł imĂĄgenes en las que se presenta un diseĂąo minimalista, con un micrĂłfono y una pantalla parcialmente transparente en la que se coloca la informaciĂłn para que pueda ser vista por el ojo derecho del usuario. TambiĂŠn se subiĂł un video con demostraciones de lo que podrĂ­a llegar a hacer si el proyecto sale a la luz. En ĂŠste se muestran varias posibilidades: las gafas le recuerdan al usuario una cita cuando mira a un muro vacĂ­o y despuĂŠs, que la probabilidad de lluvia es del 10% cuando mira por la ventana.

The images showed a very minimalist design, with a microphone and a partially transparent screen where information is displayed so it can be seen by the user’s right eye. They also uploaded a video demonstrating what the project could do if it were to come to light.

In it, several possibilities are shown: the glasses remind the user of an appointment when he looks at a blank wall and then state that the probability of rain is 10% when he looks out the window.

The glasses include the Google Maps function, which shows the user the most accessible route to reach his destination. They can take pictures of anything the user can see to share with friends, and even hold video hangouts. And though the glasses do not seem to have headphones, you can also listen to music through them. An alert pops up when a friend sends a message suggesting they meet, and as he dictates a response, an overlaid microphone icon appears.

Since that post, details of these augmented reality glasses have gradually been revealed.

U

na vieja rockola es lo primero que aprecio al entrar. Suena un antiguo éxito bohemio y, en eso, un hombre que parece haberse bebido todo su pasado se acerca para darle un golpe a la máquina. Una robusta mesera se acerca, y en lugar de preguntarme qué deseo, me ordena pedir de beber. Las paredes tienen huecos que delatan las otras cuatro capas de pintura que hay debajo. Cuando llega mi bebida, tibia y sin hielo, no puedo evitar preguntarme cómo es que acabé aquí, y sonrío: estoy en el mejor peor lugar del mundo. Y no tenía una sensación tan satisfactoria desde que vi una película de Ed Wood.

Nacido en los años veinte, Edward Davis Wood Jr. creció leyendo las baratas revistas conocidas como pulp fiction, la antesala de lo que hoy conocemos como el cómic. Wood amaba las películas también. En su infancia y juventud solía ir a ver los westerns y, más tarde, su pasión por el séptimo arte le hizo idolatrar a la figura de Orson Welles, a quien consideró su ejemplo a seguir, e incluso llegó a compararse con él, por ser también un “todólogo”, quien no sólo dirigía, sino también escribía, producía, actuaba y editaba sus filmes.

n old jukebox is the first thing I see as I enter. An old bohemian hit is playing, and then, a man who seems to have drunk his entire past comes along and hits the machine. A robust waitress approaches, and instead of asking me what I want, she orders me to order a drink. The walls have holes that reveal four other layers of paint underneath. When my drink arrives (warm, no ice), I can’t help but wonder how I ended up here, and I smile: I am at the best worst place in the world. And I hadn’t had such a satisfying feeling since I saw a movie by Ed Wood.

Y ES QUE HASTA PARA HACER LAS COSAS MAL… SE NECESITAN NEURONAS. Born in the twenties, Edward Davis Wood Jr. grew up reading cheap pulp fiction magazines, known as the prelude to what we know today as comics. Wood loved movies too. In his childhood and youth he used to go to see westerns and, later on, his passion for cinema would make him idolize Orson Welles, whom he considered a role model and then eventually a peer, as he became a jack-of-all trades who not only directed but also wrote, produced, acted and edited his films.

Se dice que la madre de Wood, Lillian, siempre quiso tener una hija, por lo que siempre vestía a Ed con faldas y blusas hasta que éste cumplió los doce años. A pesar de ser heterosexual, esto sería un aspecto importante en su vida, considerando que su primera gran oportunidad dentro del mundo del cine fue hacer una película sobre un transexual, que a la larga se convirtió en una película semi-autobiográfica llamada Glen or Glenda, que él mismo actuó y dirigió.

Gran parte de su fama se la debe al actor húngaro Bela Lugosi, un ícono del cine de horror por sus anteriores interpretaciones en Drácula y Son of Frankestein. Actuó en las obras más importantes de Wood, como la anteriormente mencionada Glen or Glenda, y Bride of The Monster, de 1956. Ahí interpreta a un científico loco que quiere crear un ejército de hombres atómicos.

En esa película también hay un pulpo atómico gigante y hay un efecto especial en el que un hombre hundiéndose en arena movediza es atacado por un cocodrilo. Por supuesto, no es más que la fotografía de un cocodrilo.

En 1980, dos años después de la muerte de Wood, el crítico de cine Michael Medved hizo un libro llamado The Golden Turkey Awards, en donde “premió” a Wood como el peor director de cine de toda la historia. Fue el principio de lo que conocemos ahora como los Razzies, que son unos “reconocimientos” a lo peor de la industria cinematográfica.

Actualmente, incluso las películas malas carecen de imaginación.

Los que normalmente ganan el Razzie son producciones que trabajan con fórmulas demasiado utilizadas, que ni siquiera se emplean de buena manera, como es el caso de la “ganadora” de este año, Jack and Jill, de Adam Sandler. Ninguna película nominada al Razzie tiene una pizca de imaginación de la que tenía Ed Wood, ni está hecha con las mismas agallas.

It is said that Wood’s mother, Lillian, always wanted a daughter, so she would have Ed wear skirts and blouses until he was twelve years old. Despite being heterosexual, this would become an important aspect of his life, especially considering his big break into film was a movie about a transsexual, which eventually became a semi-autobiographical film called Glen or Glenda, which he acted and directed.

Ed Wood owed a large part of his fame to Hungarian actor Bela Lugosi, an icon of horror cinema thanks to his previous performances in Dracula and Son of Frankenstein. also a giant atomic octopus and a special effect in which a man who is sinking in quicksand is attacked by a crocodile. But, or course, only the picture of a crocodile.

That was the beginning of what we now know as the Razzies, the “awards” given yearly to the worst of the film industry.

Nowadays, even bad movies lack imagination. Razzie-winning productions are those who abuse over-used formulas, such as this year’s “winner”, Adam Sandler’s Jack and Jill. Not one film nominated for a Razzie has even a tiny speck of the creativity Ed Wood had, nor is any of them made with the same guts, with that instinct that made him become the king of unintentional humor and an undeniable topic in film schools syllabi everywhere... when discussing what not to do when making a movie.
