Inauguramos un formato nuevo y actual con un diseño mucho más moderno y visual que permitirá una visión más amplia y dinámica de todos nuestros contenidos e imágenes. También agracedemos el esfuerzo y la colaboración de nuestros distribuidores BDP y Relay para acercar y facilitar a nuestros lectores, los puntos de venta donde encontrar nuestra publicación indicados de un modo sencillo y directo en una doble página posicionada al final de la revista. En esta época de crisis hemos realizado estos cambios para reafirmar la personalidad y la modernidad que consolida el éxito de esta publicación, acercarnos más a nuestros lectores de siempre, y encontrar nuevos aliados.

We give a warm welcome to the coming new year 2010 in which we place all our hopes and desires. A new and actual format is inagurated with a more modern and visual design that will permit a more comprehensive and dynamic vision of all our contents and images. We also want to thank the effort and cooperation of our distributors Relay and BDP to zoom in and provide our readers, find sale points where our feature set in with a simple and direct double page positioned at the end of the magazine. In this time of crisis we have made these changes to reinforce the personality and modernity that consolidates the success of this publication, to be closer to our readers and find new allies.

El cuidado por el medio-ambiente y la sostenibilidad es un campo que aunque recién llegado, es la premisa principal a la hora de proyectar un nuevo espacio. En el primer número de este año daremos buena prueba de ello con aparatos y sistemas de climatización con un total respeto ecológico. Los muebles serán las estrellas de esta edición con un amplio panorama de modelos y diseños que ocuparán gran parte de estas páginas.

Sustainability and care for the environment is a concern which, despite being relatively recent, is currently the main premise in planning a new space. In the year’s first issue, we will prove this with completely environmentally friendly air-conditioning systems and devices. Furniture will be the star of this issue with a sweeping range of models and designs that will take up the majority of these pages.

Para finalizar, haremos varias paradas en hoteles como el idílico Asia Gardens, todo un paraíso asiático. Y en restaurantes y espacios de gran talento decorativo como el nuevo concepto japonés de Oishii, o el estilo neoyorkino de Loft 36, entre otros.

COLABORACIÓN CON FIRMAS DE DISEÑO INDUSTRIAL DE PRIMER NIVEL / COLLABORATION WITH TOP-RATED INDUSTRIAL DESIGN FIRMS

A-cero

El estudio de arquitectura A-cero que dirige Joaquín Torres, consolida un proceso de colaboración con firmas comerciales de primer nivel en el campo del diseño industrial. En concreto se han establecido acuerdos marcos, como por ejemplo con la empresa Gunni Trentino, para la que se ha diseñado dos modelos de cocina para su comercialización y accesorios para baño para la prestigiosa casa italiana Anotio Lupi. En el ámbito de la iluminación, se han presentado dos piezas para la firma italiana Viabizzuno. Para la firma valenciana Vondom, dedicada al mobiliario y elementos de exterior realizados en plástico, A-cero ha diseñado tres colecciones que incluyen maceteros, sofás, chaise-longue, tumbonas, sombrillas... Por último, la empresa LG con la que A-cero trabaja habitualmente con su material Hi–macs, ha encargado al estudio que dirige Joaquín Torres y su socio Rafael Llamazares, un stand para la feria del mueble de Colonia realizado con dicho material.

The architecture studio A-cero, managed by Joaquín Torres, consolidates its collaboration with top-rated commercial firms in the field of industrial design. In short, framework agreements have been established, for example with the company Gunni Trentino, for which two kitchen models have been designed for commercialization; the same with bathroom accessories for the prestigious design company Antonio Lupi. In the lighting sphere, two pieces were presented to Italian firm Viabizzuno. PRESENTE EN EL SALÓN BATIMAT 2009 / PRESENT AT THE BATIMAT 2009 EXHIBITION

Zazzeri, empresa a la vanguardia en el sector del mobiliario para el baño y del diseño Italiano, ha presentado durante la última edición del Cersaie, el Salón Internacional de la cerámica para la Arquitectura y del Mobiliario para el baño, su nuevo sistema de ducha Virgin, realizado con Hi-Macs ® Alpine White S28. El desafío que el equipo de Zazzeri y el diseñador Daniele Bedini se han planteado, ha sido el de idear un sistema de ducha completo e innovador. La versatilidad de la tecnología de Virgin permite un uso flexible: con sólo cascada, doble cascada, con lluvia o ambas. La luz tipo Led RGB, otorga al sistema un encanto contemporáneo situado entre la alta tecnología y el aspecto terapéutico del color, además de claramente el estético. El sistema Virgin se completa con surtidores orientables que se colocan al propio gusto sobre la pared.

La compañía estuvo en la feria BATIMAT 2009, Salón Internacional de la Construcción, que tuvo lugar en París del 2 al 7 de noviembre.

Lamp participó con un stand de 104,5 metros cuadrados, y obtuvo más de 1.000 visitantes que pudieron ver todas las novedades de la marca tanto en iluminación exterior como de interior. Entre los visitantes destacó el interés que suscitaron los productos de iluminación exterior como la baliza B-side led (seleccionado por los Premios Delta), la luminaria vial Dune con leds, y el proyector Micro Proa. Todos estos productos, y otros muchos, se mostraron en el monográfico de Iluminación Vial y Urbana presentado también en esta feria. Como productos de iluminación interior, se presentaron las novedades Duet, Multispace, Fine Leds, y Hi-Lux.

Hi-Macs y Zazzeri

Zazzeri, a company at the vanguard of bathroom fittings and Italian design, presented during the latest edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, its new Virgin shower system made with Hi-Macs ® Alpine White S28. The company was present at the BATIMAT 2009 International Construction Exhibition, held in Paris from November 2nd to the 7th. Lamp participated with a stand of 104.5 square meters and attracted over 1,000 visitors who were able to see all the brand’s latest innovations not just in interior but also exterior lighting.

Particular interest was excited among visitors by exterior lighting products like the B-side LED beacon (nominated for the Premios Delta awards), the Dune road luminaire with leds, and the Micro Proa wall light. All these products, and many more, are displayed in the new catalogue of Road and Urban Lighting also presented at this fair. HISTORIA Y DISEÑO HISTORY AND DESIGN A los pies de los Alpes, en la zona de las “Valli Valdesi”, “Tenuta La Cascinetta” es una finca del siglo XVII, una antigua vivienda patricia de la familia del Carretto. La última descendiente de la familia ha restaurado el edificio para transformarlo en hotel de charme, restaurante y sushi bar.

At the foothills of the Alps, in the area known as “Valli Valdesi”, “Tenuta La Cascinetta” is a 17th century manor, an ancient patrician home of the Carretto family. The last descendant of the family has restored this building to transform it into a charming hotel, restaurant and sushi bar.

La Cascinetta abarca un hotel charme de 14 habitaciones y un lugar donde gozar de la cocina de Piamonte presentada por el chef Fabio Massa en el nuevo restaurante realizado por Costa Group. El restaurante se encuentra en un pórtico rodeado por un jardín. Más de 300 metros cuadrados de armonía pura entre los espacios antiguos de la finca y el estilo moderno del equipamiento enfatizan la singularidad del lugar y de la estructura.

Los protagonistas son la piedra y la amplitud. Para no esconder estas características Costa Group ha elegido un equipamiento de estilo sencillo y limpio. Para recibir a los clientes hay una pequeña sala de espera que está caracterizada por una original mesa en corian blanco colgada del techo con bancos. Esta zona se reviste con paneles de chapa galvanizada. Desde la entrada, parte una barra bar-sushi de 8 metros de largo realizada en vidrio blanco con encimera en corian donde está incorporada la vidriera del sushi.

La atmósfera del salón es sencilla y natural. Las paredes de ladrillos y piedras están enriquecidas por fajas de cartón piedra grises que contienen leds luminosos, para crear movimiento en el salón y una agradable escenografía nocturna. El salón está equipado con sencillas mesas y sillas en blanco luminoso que contrastan con el gris del suelo, el verde del exterior y el color caldero de las piedras de la pared.

La Cascinetta is comprised of a charming hotel of 14 rooms and a place where you can enjoy the Piedmont cuisine as presented by Chef Fabio Massa in the new restaurant built by the Costa Group. The restaurant is located on a porch surrounded by a garden.

More than 300 square meters of pure harmony between ancient spaces of the manor and the modern style of the equipment; which emphasize the uniqueness of the place and its structure.

The protagonists are the rocks and the spaciousness. So as to not hide these characteristics, the Costa Group has chosen furnishings of a clean and simple style.

Guests are welcomed in a small foyer characterized by an original white Corian table hung from the ceiling and stools. This area is decorated with galvanized veneer panels.

From the entrance, you can see an 8 meter long sushi bar done in white glass with a Corian countertop where the sushi showcase is incorporated.

The ambience of the room is simple and natural. The brick and stone walls are enriched with bands of grey papier mache that glow, to create movement in the room as well as pleasant nocturnal scenery. The room is furnished with simple tables and chairs in bright white that contrast with the grey floors, the green of the exterior and the caldron coloring of the stone wall.

En el nuevo y moderno edificio, diseñado por Alonso Balaguer, se ha reproducido una parte de la fachada del antiguo edificio de 1927, que enlaza visualmente con el resto de con construcción original de la antigua fábrica de Myrurgia.

The new and modern building, as designed by Alonso Balaguer, has reproduced a part of the façade of the 1927 building, which flows visually with the rest of the original construction of the old Myrurgia factory.

Metropolitan Sagrada Familia es un espectacular centro de bienestar urbano que cuenta con más de 2.000 metros cuadrados de instalaciones acuáticas, spa y una piscina de natación y otra de actividades. Los vasos han sido ejecutados por la empresa Construcciones Deportivas Condal.

The sheathing of all of the water zones is done by the Rosa Gres company: such as the 3 vessels (1 spa and 2 pools), such as the beaches and wet zones (showers, dressing rooms). The beaches are done with the Concept series, Anthracite color.

The construction of the pools system is the Wiesbaden System, also by Rosa Gres, with a white placard. The vessels have been built by the Condal Sports Constructions Company.

Un hotel de cuatro estrellas superior con un diseño contemporáneo, en el que se combina la elegancia y sofisticación. Con modernas instalaciones, situado en el centro de Berlín, se encuentra ubicado muy próximo a la zona comercial de la avenida Kurfürstendamm y muy bien comunicado con los aeropuertos de Schönefeld y Tegel.

La participación de la División Comercial de El Corte Inglés ha consistido en el equipamiento de sus 216 habitaciones con estándares de alta calidad, decoradas con un estilo muy moderno para asegurar el mejor confort y con todos los servicios para garantizar una estancia agradable a sus huéspedes. Además, han sido insonorizadas y especialmente amuebladas para facilitar las necesidades para viajes de negocios y con todas las comodidades para las estancias de ocio. La División también ha llevado a cabo la instalación del restaurante, lounge-bar, salones con capacidad hasta 500 personas, gimnasio, sauna, jacuzzi y el suministro del menaje y la uniformidad para los empleados del hotel.

Sus jardines con una gran diversidad de plantas exóticas, bonsáis milenarios y piscinas infinitas acercan Asia al Mediterráneo.

Asia Gardens, located in a privileged enclave of the Mediterranean coast, emerges on an extensive pine grove exhibiting its exotic and faithful Asian architectural lines. Its gardens display a variety of exotic plants, ancient bonsais, and endless pools, which bring Asia closer to the Mediterranean.

1 y 2.- El lobby de entrada con sus amplias dimensiones es la primera entrega de lo que espera en el resto del hotel a los visitantes.

Las cubiertas inclinadas de vigas vistas aportan el carácter asiático que se respira en todo el hotel. Ventiladores de fibra vegetal, piezas de mobiliario de corte clásico y elegante conforman un "todo" para iniciar la maravillosa experiencia que ofrece la filosofía del hotel.

The lobby, showcasing its broad dimensions, is the first of many wonders that await guests in the rest of the hotel. Sloping ceilings covered in exposed beams bring out the Asian character that surrounds the hotel. Naturalfibre fans, classic-cut and elegant furniture form a "whole" to start the wonderful experience provided by the hotel’s philosophy.

Envuelta dentro de una atmósfera única, los techos abuhardillados de madera, los materiales y el mobiliario, se mezclan brindando una experiencia inolvidable.

En la imagen pequeña, la ‘Suite Yakarta’, es la habitación más independiente del hotel. El techo aporta un ambiente cálido al salón privado conectado con el dormitorio. La estancia se hace más idílica con el dosel que recoge la cama King Size (2 x 2m).

The small picture shows the ‘Jakarta Suite,’ the most independent room in the hotel. The ceiling provides a warm atmosphere to the private room connected with the bedroom. The stay becomes more idyllic with the canopy over the king-size bed (2 x 2 m).

The spectacular gardens are the main essence of the philosophy that identifies the hotel. It could be considered ‘gardens with a hotel’ rather than a ‘a hotel with gardens.’ The exterior has a variety of over 300 different botanical species, ancient bonsais, and ‘infinite’ pools with water running through the resort to create an idyllic Asian atmosphere.

Guests may indulge in the hotel outdoors thanks to the winding paths that meander through the gardens. They may choose to relax in comfortable hammocks on the sides of the ‘infinite’ pools or under exotic stilt shelters, for those who want to enjoy a greater privacy.

Wagaboo acaba de abrir su último restaurante, en Las Tablas, Madrid. Decorado por el estudio de interiorismo de Luis Gallusi, el nuevo espacio representa un moderno loft neoyorquino donde conviven originales graffitis pintados sobre chapas de zinc con un mobiliario que difiere en las formas y en los colores.

Wagaboo has recently opened its latest restaurant, in Las Tablas, Madrid. Decorated by the study of interior design by Luis Galliussi, the new space represents a modern New York loft where original graffiti painted over zinc veneers with furnishing that differs in shape and color.

1 y 2.- La decoración del espacio impresiona por los graffitis de sus paredes pintados sobre chapas de zinc. En el capítulo de la luz convergen modernas y grandes lámparas blancas de suspensión, líneas de luz dispuestas en zig-zag, lámparas con bombillas vistas y focos direccionales que son los que aportan en punto teatral sobre los techos pintados en negro.

Todo un baile de luces que ayuda a realzar el carácter dinámico y divertido del interiorismo.

Un revestimiento delicado y elegante en color morado con un estampado simula un bosque añadiendo un poco de naturaleza sobre el cariz industrial que caracteriza a la decoración general.

The decoration of the space is impressive for its graffiti walls painted over zinc veneers.

In the lighting segment, modern and large white suspension lamps blend together, zigzag lighting fixtures, lamps with visible bulbs and rotating lamps, which create theatrical air to ceilings which are painted black. It is a dance of lights that helps to emphasize the dynamic and fun character of the interior design. A delicate and elegant purple sheathing accompanies with a pattern simulates a forest, adding a touch of nature to the industrial look that characterizes the décor in general.

3, 4 y 5.- Sillas y mesas de formas y colores diferentes conforman diversos ambientes para dinamizar cada zona con modelos de corte moderno y actual. Los suelos de enormes rayas blancas y negras amplían visualmente las dimensiones de los espacios.

El tratamiento de los techos con grandes tuberas de zinc le dan un aire de auténtico loft neoyorkino.

ESTABLECIMIENTO. Nuevo restaurante en Las Tablas (Madrid), perteneciente a la cadena que le da nombre de los hermanos Borja y Alfonso Domínguez. Tiene capacidad para unos 140 comensales en su interior y para otras 40 personas en la terraza. | SUPERFICIE. 400 metros cuadrados aproximadamente. | AUTOR DEL PROYECTO. ESTABLISHMENT. New restaurant in Las Tablas (Madrid) belongs to a chain that brings up the Borja and Alfonso Dominguez brothers’ names. Alfonso and Borja Dominguez wanted to make a change in the design of the new Wagaboo’s, they put Luis Galliussi in charge of the project who understood the concept, the spirit and development of their new openings. The intention was to pay homage to the shanties that were in Las Tablas before. | MAIN DECORATIVE PATTERNS. Use of materials such as the zinc veneers with graffiti, visible bulbs to homage what was there before and is no longer there. Use of large white lamps to create special and modern lighting. Chairs and tables of various shapes and colors to create different ambiences. Floors with enormous black and white stripes, and ceiling treatments with large zinc pipes to give it a true New York loft style.

6, 7 y 8.- Las chapas de zinc actúan de separadores de ambiente para crear zonas más privadas que se disponen recogidas en uno de los laterales. Éstas se equipan con bancadas tapizadas en el color corporativo.

Al entrar, una blanca y larga barra de una sola pieza dan la bienvenida a los comensales.

Enfrente, se encuentra una de las señas de identidad de los locales de Wagaboo, su cocina vista. La cocina, está incorporada a la sala a través de una enorme cristalera. Ésta permite a los comensales ver el proceso de elaboración de los platos y asistir, en vivo y en directo, al espectáculo de la elaboración de la pasta fresca por maestros chinos e italianos.

The zinc veneers serve as separators of the atmosphere to create more private areas that are gathered in one of the laterals. These are furnished with upholstered booths in the corporate colors.

By the entrance, a white and large single piece bar welcomes the guests. At the front, there is one of the trademarks of the Wagaboo places, an open kitchen. The kitchen is incorporated into the main room by an enormous window.

This allows the guests to watch the food making process, and attend live and direct the show of making fresh pasta by Chinese and Italian masters.

El Grupo hotelero NH ha confiado en KA Contract para llevar a cabo el proyecto y ejecución del diseño interior de este hotel de 4 estrellas NH Las Tablas, ubicado en el norte de Madrid. El equipo, en colaboración con los arquitectos del hotel, ha creado un establecimiento de líneas modernas con piezas de diseño que dotan al hotel de una marcada personalidad.

The NH hotel group has entrusted KA Contract with carrying out the project and execution of the interior decorating for this 4-star hotel, NH Las Tablas, located in the North of Madrid. The team, in coordination with the hotel’s architects, has created an establishment with modern lines with design pieces that endow the hotel with a marked personality.

1 y 2.- El hotel impacta, nada más entrar, con un espectacular lobby donde se ubica la recepción, zonas de estar, y espacios de acceso. La altura del atrio deja un vacío que permite visualizar la interconexión entre las plantas y el ascensor visto. El resto lo conforman piezas de reconocido diseño, como el sofá ondulante y las originales lámparas que se suspenden en el vacío.

As soon as you walk in the door, the hotel impresses you with a stunning lobby where the reception, lounges and access areas are located. The atrium’s height leaves a permanent void that enables the observer to visualize the interconnection between the floors and the elevator in view. The rest is made up of pieces with a renowned design, such as the wavy sofa and the original lamps that are suspended in the void.

PROYECTO. Hotel NH Las Tablas. Dispone de un total de 149 habitaciones de las cuales, 130 son habitaciones estándar, 18 son habitaciones categoría superior, incluyendo 1 suite. Dispone además de spa, centro de fitness y piscina durante todo el año, y 300 metros cuadrados de salones para convenciones y reuniones. | AUTORES DEL PROYECTO. El equipo de KA Contract, formado por arquitectos de interiores, decoradores y estilistas, trabajó durante 6 meses en colaboración con los arquitectos del hotel. | INTENCIONALIDAD Y FILOSOFÍA DE LA OBRA. Crear un hotel ejecutivo de líneas modernas, con piezas exclusivas de diseño que marcaran la diferencia y que tuviesen como máxima la calidad. | PRINCIPALES PAUTAS DECORATIVAS. Líneas modernas y funcionales. Mobiliario diseñado en exclusiva para el hotel por el equipo de KA Contract, buscando dotar al hotel de gran personalidad. Se combinan materiales nobles como madera, pieles, cristales con acabados especiales y mármoles, trasmitiendo una sensación de modernidad. Destaca el uso de tejidos, texturas y colores. Los tonos neutros aplicados en los ambientes generales se unen con otros más intensos en los techos y en los complementos, para crear diferentes sensaciones y ambientes.

PROJECT. Hotel NH Las Tablas has a total of 149 rooms out of which 130 are standard rooms and 18 are superior category rooms, including 1 suite. Besides a spa, it has a fitness centre and swimming pool all year round, and 300 square meters of rooms for conventions and meetings. | PROJECT DESIGNERS. The KA Contract team, made up of interior architects, decorators and stylists, worked for 6 months in collaboration with the hotel’s architects. | INTENTION AND PHILOSOPHY OF THE WORK. To create an executive hotel with modern lines, with exclusively designed pieces that mark the difference and that employ quality as a rule. | MAIN DECORATING GUIDELINES. Modern and functional lines. Furnishings designed exclusively for the hotel by the KA Contract team, while seeking to imbue the hotel with plenty of personality. Fine materials are combined, such as wood, leather, glass with special finishes and marble, thus conveying a modern feeling. The use of fabrics, textures and colors stands out. The neutral shades applied in general rooms are joined with other, more intense ones on the ceilings and fixtures to create different moods and settings.

3 y 4 .- En los revestimientos se combinan materiales nobles, como la madera, con el acero, el cristal y el mármol para transmitir mayor sensación de modernidad. El mobiliario viste con su factura vanguardista las zonas nobles, se combinan piezas de gran importancia visual como las lámparas de pie en rojo y los sillones giratorios en negro, con otros elementos mucho más ligeros como las mesas de cristal transparente.

The wall facings are a combination of fine materials such as wood with steel, glass and marble to better convey a feeling of modernity. The furnishings cloak the distinguished areas, pieces of a high visual importance such as red foot lamps and black rotating armchairs are combined with other much lighter components such as transparent glass tables.

5, 6 y 7.- En las habitaciones y baños, se ha roto la paleta de tonos neutros aportando golpes de color específico para cada planta. En el caso de las imágenes, el color destacado es el azul, aportando discretas pinceladas en la tapicería del mobiliario y las líneas de luz. En los baños destaca la elección de tonos oscuros con encimeras de cristal de color. La bañera hace las veces de elemento separador y de conexión entre el baño y el resto de la habitación, para conseguir un espacio abierto en el que todos los elementos se integran unos con otros.

In the rooms and bathrooms, designers have broken away from the neutral color palette, providing splashes of a specific color for each floor. In the case of the images, the color that stands out is blue, providing discrete brush strokes on the furniture’s upholstery and the streaks of light. In the bathrooms, the choice of dark colors with colored glass countertops catches the observer’s eye. The bathroom serves as a separating and connecting element between the bathroom and the rest of the room, to achieve an open space where all elements mingle with each other.

1 y 2.- Justo en la entrada se encuentra la zona más ágil del local, con barra alta, ordenadores y taburetos pensado para las primeras horas del día. A la derecha del ingreso se crea un reservado más cómodo para que el cliente se sienta como en casa, configurado con mesas, asientos y poufs bajos. Las zonas se pueden independizar con espesos cortinajes en color marfil para crear ambientes individuales.

Right at the entrance, there is a more lively area, with a high bar, computers and stools intended for the first hours of the day. To the right of the entrance there is a reserved space that is more comfortable so the client can feel at home, set up with tables, seats and low footstools. The areas can become independent with thick ivory colored curtains to create individual spaces.

Este establecimiento coruñés parte de la idea principal de conseguir un local que funcionara las máximas horas del día. De esta manera, la empresa Konstruplus configuró un espacio con tres ambientes diferenciados entre sí con un cariz muy neoyorkino, con los elementos decorativos y los materiales, pero siempre dentro de una armonía cromática.

AThis La Coruña establishment is created based on the idea of acquiring a location that operates the maximum amount of hours a day. This way, the company Konstruplus set up this space with three differentiated ambiences including a very New York look, with the decorative and material elements, but always within a chromatic harmony.

3 y 4.- En el corazón del establecimiento se instala una llamativa barra de bar de factura cuadrangular y frente retroiluminado para captar la atención sobre su situación.

Los materiales empleados hacen que este elemento sea el más sobresaliente en el diseño del espacio. La parte superior organiza un encuentro de elementos dispares, pero muy bien encajados en el diseño, como la estructura metálica con focos de iluminación escenográfica, y una lámpara de araña presidiendo el centro del espacio aéreo que provoca la estructura.

At the heart of the establishment there is an attractive quadrangular service counter and it is retro illuminated at the front to capture its location. The materials used highlight the spacious design of this element. The upper part organizes a mid point between uneven elements, but well fitted in the design, such as the metallic structure, with scenic lighting bulbs, and a spider lamp that lies at the center of the air space that provokes the structure.

5, 6 y 7.- Al fondo del local se crea una sala más amplia que proporciona un carácter más reservado y más cómodo. Los revestimientos ocupan un lugar privilegiado en el proyecto.

Se emplean papeles vinílicos y polipiel en capitoné para cubrir los pilares sustentantes y los respaldos de las bancadas, éstos se dejan hasta media altura y se retroiluminan para potenciar la altura del local y matizar la atmósfera.

La fusión de los dos colores protagonistas: blanco y negro, se matiza cálidamente con la presencia de mesas con sobres de madera y el suelo de tarima flotante.

At the end of the place there is a more spacious room that provides a more reserved and more comfortable character.

The sheathing represents a privileged place in the project. Vinyl paper and synthetic leather applied in quilt form to cover the support pillars and the backrests of the booths, these are left at mid height and are retro illuminated to maximize the height of the place and to blend the atmosphere.

The fusion of the two principal colors: black and white are warmly blended with the presence of the wooden accent tables and the floating platform floors.

8, 9 y 10.- En algunas zonas del establecimiento se instala una ‘lluvia’ de lámparas suspendidas con difusores esféricos que ocupan parte de la altura del establecimiento y dan más importancia al tratamiento negro de los techos.

La elegancia de la reducida paleta cromática, los materiales empleados y la iluminación potencian la personalidad neoyorkina que se refleja en el proyecto. Algunos pilares se aprovechan para instalar mesas espontáneas con poufs.

Los aseos públicos se integran con el resto de la decoración empleando revestimientos en gris grafito. Este color se rompe con la encimera roja que soporta un lavabo de forma cuadrangular.

In some areas of the establishment there is a “rainfall” of lamps suspended with spherical diffusers that comprise the upper part of the establishment and give more importance to the black treatment of the ceiling. The elegance of the reduced chromatic palate, the materials used and the lighting maximize the New York personality reflected in the project. Some of the pillars are used to install spontaneous tables with poufs. The washrooms are integrated into the rest of the décor using grey graphite sheathing. This color breaks with the red counter that sustains the quadrangular shaped sink.

Este establecimiento nace con la intención de crear un nuevo concepto de restaurante japonés dejando a un lado los tópicos clásicos y centrándose en la nueva cultura japonesa. Todo se organiza dentro de un contenedor de líneas depuradas y la puntualización de una gama cromática reducida al blanco, naranja y magenta.

This establishment was conceived with the intention to create a new concept of Japanese restaurants leaving behind the typical themes and focusing on the new Japanese culture. All of this is organized within a clean lined container and the specification of a chromatic range reduced to white, orange and magenta.

1 y 2.- La zona de la planta sótano del local se configura con volúmenes que parten de los paramentos y continúan por el techo con los laterales en color magenta y la parte central retroiluminada, para marcar un orden visual en el espacio. La ubicación de las mesas bajas se dispone lateralmente y son el principio de arranque de las estructuras que recorren los techos.

The Basement floor area is set up with volumes that differ from the ornaments and continue throughout the ceiling with the laterals painted magenta and the central part retro illuminated, to create a visual order of the space. The location of the lower tables is done laterally and is the onset of the structures that run throughout the ceilings.

3 y 4.- Se colocan luminarias de techo situadas sobre alguna de las mesas del sótano puntualizando todas aquellas mesas que se quedan fuera de lo que abarcan los techos retroiluminados. En la imagen corporativa se emplean imágenes japonesas renovadas para lograr una estética divertida.

En el sótano, se realizan diferentes tipos de asientos como la bancada fabricada en metal que nace de la pared adquiriendo la misma forma, pero invertida, de los arcos del techo en color magenta, y se complementa con un encojinado tapizado en charol blanco. El resto de asientos se organizan con bancos y taburetes con galletas tapizadas en charol naranja, y sillas blancas modelo Indiana.

Light fixtures are placed on the ceiling over any one of the tables of the basement, specifically over the tables that are outside of range of the retro illuminated ceiling. In the corporate image renewed Japanese images are used to obtain a fun aesthetic.

In the basement, various types of seats such as booths made out of metal that comes out of the walls, acquiring the same shape of the ceiling colored in magenta, and are complemented by upholstered cushions in patent white. The rest of the seating are organized with the benches and stools with upholstered accents in patent orange and white chairs in the Indiana model.

Los techos participan en el 90% de la iluminación del local para conseguir ambientes diferenciados: luz blanca cálida para el día e iluminación ámbar por la noche.

Volumes that emerge from the ceiling and floors to compose the different areas of the restaurant. Use of decorative Japanese elements applied in the window curtains on the first floor that are retro illuminated with natural light. The ceilings participate in the 90% of the lighting of the place to obtain differentiated ambiences: warm White lighting for the day and amber lighting 4

for the evening.

5 y 6.- En diferentes zonas del local se han instalado unos vinilos tensados retroiluminados. Estos techos adquieren un gran protagonismo en el restaurante, ya que delimitan el recorrido de las cintas de sushi en la planta primera. Es importante resaltar la iluminación natural de esta planta a través de las imágenes con dibujos clásicos japoneses renovados en las telas colocadas en bastidores y retroiluminadas natural y artificialmente. Esta estética divertida acompaña al movimiento acentuado en el restaurante, gracias a las cintas de sushi, a la continuidad de los techos, y la puntualización del color.

Las cintas de sushi (kitten sushi), realizadas en una estructura de formica blanca en paramentos verticales y gris plata en horizontales, incorporan como novedad el vidrio iluminado interiormente mediante tiras de leds, por el que discurren los platos de sushi a través de imanes interiores. Esto hace que sólo se aprecie el movimiento de los platos y no de la cinta. En la zona de la cinta, las mesas nacen de la misma estructura de ésta haciendo que todo parezca un mismo volumen.

In different areas of the restaurant there has been tensed vinyl fixtures installed that are also retro illuminated. These ceilings represent a protagonist role in the restaurant, given they determine the path of the sushi showcases on the first floor. It is important to highlight the natural lighting on this floor through the images of classic Japanese images renovated in the fabric placed in the frames and retro illuminated naturally and artificially.

This fun aesthetic is accompanied by the accentuated movement of the restaurant, thanks to the sushi showcases, to the continuity of the ceilings and to the specification of the colors.

The sushi showcases (sushi kittens), made in a white Formica structure in the vertical ornaments and grey silver in the horizontals, incorporate as a novelty the glass in the showcases illuminated in its interior by strands of leds, through which the plates of sushi are reflected by interior magnets. This makes it so only the movement of the plates is appreciated and not of the showcase. In the showcase area, the tables are made out of the same structure that is making so everything looks like the same volume.
