Con la scomparsa di Silvano Casini e Marcello Gori nel 2003, i padri fondatori della Scuola del Cuoio, le tre figlie di Marcello, Laura, Francesca e Barbara, insieme ai nipoti Tommaso, Filippo e Beatrice, hanno iniziato a gestire la Scuola del Cuoio e continuano a impegnarsi nella grande tradizione di prodotti di qualità e di servizio al cliente.

Scuola del Cuoio was founded after World War II by Gori and Casini families, Florentine leather artisans since the 1930’s. Their mission was to teach orphans of the war a practical trade with which to earn a living. In May of 1950, Scuola del Cuoio, due to the growing demand of fine quality hand-crafted products, opened its doors to clients inside the laboratories, located in the ancient dormitory of the Franciscan Friars inside the Monastery of Santa Croce. Alba Chiara De Vitis, founder and nose of the Parfumèide brand, took a degree in Mathematics followed by a doctorate in Data Analysis, Machine Learning and AI at Sophia-Antipolis in France.
