iciembre llega marcado con las habituales fiestas navideñas, familiares, entrañables, nostálgicas, llenas de amor, paz y muchos gastos para cualquier ser humano occidental. Cada año se adelanta más la navidad, aún no ha terminado en el calendario Noviembre y ya tenemos el ambiente navideño, (Black Friday, publicidad, luces, decoración, música) por todas partes. Esta forma de influir en nuestra sociedad actual para que se adelanten estas celebraciones, ya sean religiosas o profanas, obedecen básicamente a los intereses de las grandes empresas y/o marcas comerciales con fines totalmente lucrativos. Una vez hecha esta reflexión, metámonos de lleno en el espíritu navideño, a su debido tiempo y disfrutemos de la familia, de los amigos, de los seres queridos próximos o lejanos y sobre todo disfrutemos de los niños, de su fantasía con sus caras de ilusión. Recordemos también a otros muchos niños que carecen de lo más mínimo para vivir o poca esperanza de sobrevivir en escenarios de guerra, no tan lejanos. Este mes, también nos llega con espectaculares eventos con las programaciones navideñas de Marbella, San Pedro y Estepona, además de conciertos, exposiciones, mercadillos, excursiones, y muchas actividades para los “peques” de la casa. En Enero la Costa del Sol tiene una importante cita en FITUR 2017 (Feria Internacional de Turismo de Madrid), que se celebrará del 18 al 22 de enero de 2017.

This way of influencing our society to bring forward the celebration, whether religious or secular, mainly obeys the interests of major companies and/or commercial brands for purely lucrative purposes. Having made this reflection, let’s enter wholeheartedly into the Christmas spirit, at the right time, and enjoy the family, friends, our loved ones near or far, and above all, let’s enjoy our children, their fantasy and their faces full of eagerness. Let’s also remember the many other children who do not have the bare essentials for living or little hope of surviving in situations of war, not so far away. This month also comes with spectacular events with the Christmas programmes for Marbella, San Pedro and Estepona, in addition to concerts, exhibitions, street markets, excursions and many events for the little ones. In January the Costa del Sol has an important date at FITUR 2017 (the Madrid World Travel Fair), which will be held between 18 and 22 January 2017. From here I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2017, full of good things for our readers and friends

Sala permanente dedicada a las estancias en Marbella de Jean Cocteau, de quien se cumplió en 2013 cincuenta años de su pérdida, gracias a la donación por parte de los herederos de Pepe Carleton (José Emilio Carleton Abrines), de manuscritos, dibujos y fotografías originales del célebre poeta, dramaturgo y cineasta francés, que se muestran puestos en relación con la época. Desde el 23 de agosto hasta el 31 de diciembre, de lunes a viernes de 9 a 14 y de 17 a 21.30 h. Centro Cultural Cortijo Miraflores. Roscón de Reyes para todos los niños asistentes.

S.S.M.M. Los Reyes Magos de Oriente llegan a nuestra ciudad. A las 10.00 h visita de S.S.M.M. al Hospital Comarcal Costa del Sol y seguidamente visita al Hospital Quirón. A las 12.00 h S llegan al Puerto Deportivo de Marbella a bordo del barco “Fly Blue”. Acto seguido, recorrerán las principales calles del centro de Marbella en coches de época con parada en el Ayuntamiento de Marbella, donde saludarán a todos los asistentes desde el Balcón del Ayuntamiento.

Esta construcción se encuentra enclavada en el centro histórico de la ciudad y es la única que se ha conservado de la época musulmana. La medina de Marbella fue una de las ciudades más importantes de la “Rayya” (provincia de Málaga). La Marbella amurallada de los musulmanes abarcaba aproximadamente una superficie de 90.000 metros2. Sobre esta reducida área se extendería una trama de estrechas callejas, que todavía hoy conserva su trazado. YACIMIENTOS ARQUEOLÓGICOS ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

Basílica Paleocristiana Vega del Mar (San Pedro) (s. IV). Rodeada por una necrópolis visigoda con más de 180 enterramientos de distinta tipología. Única en la Península Ibérica. Bóvedas o Termas de Guadalmina (San Pedro) (s. II-III). A 500 m de la Basílica. Además de su uso higiénico, eran un punto de reunión social. Villa Romana de Río Verde (Marbella) (s. I). Edificada como finca rústica en la que se desarrollaban actividades agropecuarias, en especial la fabricación del garum, pasta de diversos pescados cuyo precio alcazaba cifras exorbitantes en Roma. Monumento declarado Bien de Interés Cultural por la Junta de Andalucía, y protegido con el máximo nivel en el Patrimonio Histórico Andaluz.

Built as a country estate where fish farming activity took place, particularly the preparation of “garum”, a fish paste made from different fish, that commanded exorbitant prices in Rome. It has been declared a Monument of Cultural Interest by the Regional Government of Andalusia and is protected as being a high level example of the Historic Heritage of Andalusia.

La idea es ofrecer al público, durante varios años, en un lugar ya construido, como el Cubo en este caso, un recorrido por obras de referencia de la colección del Centre Pompidou, y acompañarlo con una programación de exposiciones y experiencias multidisciplinares y talleres.

EQUIPAMIENTO El equipamiento para el mercado español del Kia Niro se ofrece con llantas de 16 pulgadas y neumáticos de baja resistencia a la rodadura 205/60 R16 y disponen de un ajuste de suspensión más suave que el Niro con llantas de 18 pulgadas y neumáticos 225/45 R18, que presentan suspensión algo más firme. El Niro homologa un consumo bajo de sólo 3,8 l/100 km, con unas emisiones de 88 g/km de CO2.
