l recién comenzado el año 2017 (año del Gallo en el calendario Chino) nos recibe con una ola de frío polar, algo excepcional para nuestro clima mediterráneo, y si además añadimos las declaraciones del “Sheriff Mundial” Donald Trump, que nos han dejado helados. Pese a todo, la temperatura turística medida en el termómetro de Fitur (Feria Internacional del Turismo) celebrada a finales de Enero, vuelve a augurar otro año de crecimiento en la industria principal de la Costa del Sol. Estos turísticos años dorados, exigen a las administraciones públicas “que se pongan las pilas” ofreciendo soluciones a temas de importante relevancia general, como es el Plan de Saneamiento Integral de aguas de la Costa del Sol, pendiente hace décadas, el Tren Litoral, la terminación del Hospital Comarcal de Marbella y más a corto plazo la regeneración de las playas de cara a este próximo verano. En el contenido de la presente edición Nº 129, destacamos de la agenda de eventos la celebración de los carnavales 2017 de Marbella y Estepona, el teatro “Medea” con Aitana Sánchez-Gijón o el monólogo de Manu Sánchez, ambos en el Teatro Ciudad de Marbella, la temporada lírica en Cines Teatro Goya, además de exposiciones, talleres, conciertos, actividades deportivas y mucho más.

Yet despite this, the tourist temperature measured on the thermometer at Fitur (International Tourism Fair), held at the end of January, promises another year of growth for the principal industry on the Costa del Sol. These golden years for the tourist industry require the authorities to “get their act together” and offer solutions to important issues affecting us all, which include the Integrated Sanitation Plan for water on the Costa del Sol (pending for decades), the Coast Train, the completion of Marbella District Hospital, and in the shorter term, the regeneration of beaches in readiness for next summer. Obras de estilo clásico y vanguardista componen la muestra que trata de descubrir las distintas formas en las que los artistas se han acercado a las representaciones femeninas a lo largo de los siglos. Una selección de autores que forman parte de la Colección Ralli, con obras comprendidas en los años 1900 y 1980, entre los que encontraremos a André Derain, Marie Laurencin, Jacques Villon, Louis Latapie y Nicolás Tarkhoff. XXI Fiesta de la Matanza, el pueblo de Ardales rinde homenaje a la elaboración tradicional de embutidos y carnes porcinas, una de las señas de identidad de la gastronomía del interior de la provincia de Málaga. Habrá degustaciones de los tradicionales botones de chacina por la mañana, y la degustación de la caldereta de carne en torno a mediodía. A partir de la 17:00 horas hay actuaciones musicales con pandas de verdiales y otros géneros. Sin duda una buena ocasión para visitar Ardales y conocer los atractivos del municipio. Domingo 5 de febrero. 21st Fiesta de la Matanza (Pig-Slaughtering Festival) in the village of Ardales, a tribute to the traditional production of pork meats and sausages, one of the distinguishing traits of gastronomy in the hinterland of Malaga province. With sampling of the traditional “botones de chacina” (sausage rolls) in the morning, and meat stew around midday. From 5.00 p.m. there will be performance of verdiales groups and other dances. Without doubt an excellent occasion for visiting Ardales and getting to know the attractions of the town. Sunday 5 February.

“Children Of The Beijing Opera” Un film de Don Kent. La Ópera de Pekin es más que un espectáculo lírico. Tiene que ver con una tradición popular de varios siglos. La Escuela de la Ópera de Pekín fue fundada en 1952 y tiene más de 900 alumnos, entre 6 y 18 años de edad, que acceden a la Escuela mediante una dura prueba de acceso. Los estudios en esta escuela son multidisciplinares y están regidos por una disciplina férrea, para desarrollar en los estudiantes un alto nivel de competición entre un elevadísimo número de artistas. Esta construcción se encuentra enclavada en el centro histórico de la ciudad y es la única que se ha conservado de la época musulmana. La medina de Marbella fue una de las ciudades más importantes de la “Rayya” (provincia de Málaga). La Marbella amurallada de los musulmanes abarcaba aproximadamente una superficie de 90.000 metros2. Sobre esta reducida área se extendería una trama de estrechas callejas, que todavía hoy conserva su trazado. This construction is set in the historic centre of the town and it is the only one conserved from the muslim era. The medina of Marbella was one of the most important cities or the “Rayya” (province of Malaga). The fortified Marbella of the muslims covered approximately a surface of 90.000 square metres. Basílica Paleocristiana Vega del Mar (San Pedro) (s. IV). Rodeada por una necrópolis visigoda con más de 180 enterramientos de distinta tipología. Única en la Península Ibérica. Bóvedas o Termas de Guadalmina (San Pedro) (s. II-III). A 500 m de la Basílica. Además de su uso higiénico, eran un punto de reunión social. Villa Romana de Río Verde (Marbella) (s. I). Edificada como finca rústica en la que se desarrollaban actividades agropecuarias, en especial la fabricación del garum, pasta de diversos pescados cuyo precio alcazaba cifras exorbitantes en Roma. Monumento declarado Bien de Interés Cultural por la Junta de Andalucía, y protegido con el máximo nivel en el Patrimonio Histórico Andaluz.

INTERIOR Gracias a su distancia aumentada con el suelo y su posición de conducción elevada, el nuevo SUV Peugeot 3008 mantiene un excelente comportamiento en carretera y una dirección precisa.
