Hallowed Ground

Hallowed Ground was born in Herne Bay, Auckland, at the beginning of 2002. After a four year stint living in London, where I established myself as an independent design contractor, I returned to New Zealand and decided to seek self employment here as well. As my first employer was Aim Direct (now Proximity), a New Zealand leader in direct advertising, I gained a firm foundation in marketing and strategic thinking. Combining this with my talents as a design creative, I develop design solutions that don’t ignore the market – or the customer. Over the years Hallowed Ground has been required to carry out all manner of tasks in many disciplines of design for marketing, but the same questions always apply: Who are we? Who are we talking to? What are we trying to tell them? And what is in it for them?
