Correlations to Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards for English Language Arts

Handwriting without Tears is an integrated print and digital approach to instruction that combines teacher directed lessons with independent learning and practice. HWT utilizes a recommended developmental teaching order for a scaffolded approach to letter learning and mastery, multisensory strategies to reach every student while bringing learning to life, and cross-curricular connections to reinforce content being taught in other subjects. We provide special support for teaching left-handed students, and our program is available in English and Spanish.
