SITE The TIR site, or the Transports Internationaux Routiers, is a large warehouse complex located next to the Tour & Taxis site and near the Brussels canal. It was built in 1958 as part of the world exhibition. It consists today of two large buildings, offering 160 000 m² of storage space and designed for logistical purposes. In the 1970s, a large concrete viaduct was placed alongside the buildings to enable trucks to reach the second f loor from street level. The building that is considered for repurpose, is the smaller one of the two, building C.
