Cross Keys Village Reaches Finals in CPBJ’s Nonprofit Innovation Awards

Hanover-based law firm Stonesifer & Kelley has merged with Barley Snyder, effective April 1. The merger will allow Barley Snyder to bring on new practice areas, clients and attorneys, and Stonesifer & Kelley to gain the tremendous strength and considerable resources of the growing 61-year-old firm. Barley Snyder has been located in downtown Hanover since 1999. Adding Stonesifer and Kelley augments the firm’s already strong presence in the Hanover-Adams area. Kelley will assume a leadership role along with Barley Snyder’s current partners in the Hanover market.

A group of representatives from Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community recently traveled to Lancaster as a finalist in the Central Penn Business Journal's Nonprofit Innovation Awards (in the Collaboration category, for their Memory Care partnerships with other organizations).

The merger provides Barley Snyder with a second Hanover office at Stonesifer & Kelley’s 209 Broadway location. The two locations will consolidate and Stonesifer & Kelley’s attorneys and employees will move into the current Barley Snyder office on Hanover’s Center Square in 2017. Adding the new attorneys brings the total headcount to 78 lawyers at Barley Snyder. In addition, the merger provides Barley Snyder with one of its growth goals – a Gettysburg location.
