The Hellenic American Union, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and for public safety, decided to close down its galleries until further notice and offer the exhibition's catalogue for free.
Aristotelis Tzakos – Painting – 2020
Fifteen years after his first solo exhibition at the Hellenic American Union (2005), Aristotelis Tzakos returns with a new series of artworks, focusing once again on color and simple, geometric lines. Writing of these works, Greek poet Costas Ifantis notes: “Employing the vehicle of color in his quest for pure painting, artist Aristotelis Tzakos sends us on a journey, challenging us and prompting us to reflect on the boundaries of artistic representation, on what may be out there, as seen and projected through the depths of the psyche, simultaneously lending aesthetic value to the artwork and offering pleasure to the viewer".
