It has also demonstrated, in a powerful way, the need to take better care of our sick planet; for our own sake and the sake of future generations. Working together we can, and must, do that.
. .
The virus has caused a alot of pain and disruption in all our lives. However, it has shown us what we can do if we work together on an individual, local and global level.
We look forward to seeing you in our programs, parks and playgrounds in the better days ahead.

Ban the Bottle Last summer, the Parks and Recreation Department launched a “Ban the Bottle” initiative to reduce the use of single use plastic water bottles in our parks and camps. Each year eight tons of plastic ends up in our oceans. Only 10% of water bottles are recycled. Please join the campaign to eliminate single use water bottles at our parks and programs. We owe it to our children and their children.
