US Attorneys General Call For Social Media Warning Labels
YouTube Rolls Out ‘Add Yours’ Sticker for Shorts to All Users
After testing it out with selected users over the past months, YouTube is now rolling out its “Add Yours” sticker for Shorts to all users. The “Add Yours” sticker encourages participatory content, by prompting viewers to create their own takes on Shorts clips.
From Social Media Today:
Does this seem familiar? That’s because it’s a replica of the exact same feature on Instagram, which itself was adapted from TikTok’s Duet option.
And so, the great circle of social media life continues, in which platforms just copy and paste from each other into oblivion, in the hopes of keeping users within their own apps, as opposed to losing them for the latest trending functions.

What is Bluesky? Everything to Know About the App Trying to Replace Twitter
It’s been almost two years since Elon Musk purchased Twitter, now X, leading people to set up shop on alternative platforms. Mastodon, Post, Pebble (which has already closed) and Spill have been presented as potential replacements, but few aside from Meta’s Threads have achieved the speed of growth Bluesky has reached.
With 9 million users and growing, Bluesky is a decentralized social app conceptualized by former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and developed in parallel with Twitter.
The social network has a Twitter-like user interface with algorithmic choice, a federated design and community-specific moderation.

Snapchat Is Adding Sponsored Snaps To Expands Its Ad Opportunities
The Snapchat inbox has long been sacred ground, and as such, it’s been exempt from promotional materials. But now, as Snap looks to broaden its ad business, it’s taking the leap into, essentially, paid DMs.
U.S. Federal prosecutors have charged musician Michael Smith with defrauding streaming services of $10 million in royalties.
Michael Smith, 52, allegedly used AI to create hundreds of thousands of fake songs by nonexistent bands, then streamed them using bots to collect royalties from platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
The scheme, which ran for seven years, resulted in wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy charges. It also marks the first US criminal case involving artificially inflated music streaming.
Forget Those Lame Traffic Tactics: This New Method is So Ridiculously Simple, It's Practically Cheating
Tired of chasing those elusive website visitors with the same old tired tricks? SEO, social media, paid ads… yawn.
Let's face it, for many of us these tactics are about as effective as a screen door on a submarine.
Well, brace yourselves, because I'm about to reveal a groundbreaking new method for driving traffic that's so ridiculously simple, it's practically cheating.
Ready for it? Drumroll please...
Just make something people actually want to see.
I know, it sounds too simple. Were’s the glitz? The glamour? The magic traffic button?
But hear me out.
Instead of obsessing over keywords and algorithms, focus on creating content that's so damn good, people can't help but share it.
Think hilarious videos, mind-blowing infographics, or thought-provoking articles that spark conversation.
Forget about chasing trends or trying to please everyone. Find your niche, embrace your weirdness, and create content that speaks to your ideal audience.
And don't be afraid to have a little fun with it. People are more likely to share something that makes them laugh, cry, or think than another generic blog post.
Sure, SEO and social media still have their place. But if you want to truly stand out in the crowded online world, you need to create content that's worth talking about.
So, ditch the tired tactics and start creating something remarkable. Your website traffic (and your sanity) will thank you.
Camera Shy, Cash Rich: Going Faceless on YouTube
What’s a blogger to do?
One answer is to build a YouTube channel, but that brings up a super common objection: “I don’t want to appear on camera!”
If you feel this way, we get it. For numerous reasons, most people do NOT want to make videos of themselves talking and doing stuff in front of a camera, but they do want to build a business. They want to get traffic, sell products, get a message out and so forth.
If this is you, then Faceless YouTube videos might be your answer.
“Faceless” simply means the video creator (that’s you) doesn't appear on camera. This can be achieved through a few different methods, such as:
• Voiceover Only: The creator's voice (or a hired voice artist) narrates the video, but their face isn't shown.
• Text-to-Speech and Animation: AI-generated voices narrate the content while animation, stock footage, or screen recordings provide visuals.
• Gameplay or Screen Recordings: The focus is on the game or software being demonstrated, with no need for the creator's face to be visible.
Faceless YouTube videos offer several benefits for you, the creator, such as reduced pressure and anxiety, enhanced focus on content, simplified production, and increased privacy. Plus, it’s easier to outsource content creation for your videos, allowing for greater scalability.
What’s not to love?
And these videos open up opportunities for niches where onscreen presence isn't necessary, allowing you to explore topics like gaming, animation, tech reviews, and more. Faceless YouTube videos truly are a viable alternative for creators who prefer to remain behind the scenes, prioritize content over personality, or streamline their production process. Keep in mind that the key to success on YouTube, regardless of format, is to provide value to your audience through high-quality, engaging content.
Which brings up the question… which niches do really well with faceless videos?
These niches are not only making serious money on YouTube right now, but they’re also evergreen, meaning the demand for them will be long term.
1: Top 10/Compilation Videos:
• Channels like WatchMojo and TheRichest consistently rack up millions of views with their top 10 and compilation-style videos. These channels often leverage existing content and trends, making them relatively easy to produce without showing your face.
2: Faceless Tech Reviews and Tutorials:
• Channels like TechZone and Mrwhosetheboss thrive by showcasing tech gadgets and software without the need for an on-screen personality. This niche benefits from high CPMs due to the appeal to techsavvy audiences.
3: Luxury Lifestyle and Travel Content:
• Channels like Luxury World and Enes Yilmazer generate significant revenue by featuring high-end travel destinations, luxury products, and opulent lifestyles, attracting advertisers in the luxury sector.
4: True Crime and Mystery Stories:
• The popularity of channels like MrBallen and Bailey Sarian demonstrates a strong appetite for true crime and mystery content on YouTube. The suspenseful nature of this niche often translates into longer watch times and increased ad revenue.
5: ASMR and Relaxation Videos:
• Channels dedicated to ASMR and relaxation content, like Gentle Whispering ASMR and The Relaxed Guy, consistently garner millions of views and subscribers. The soothing nature of this content can lead to extended viewing sessions and higher ad impressions.
6: Gaming Walkthroughs and Gameplay:
• While many gaming channels feature on-screen personalities, there's also a growing niche for faceless walkthroughs and gameplay videos. These can be particularly popular for games with complex storylines or mechanics, where viewers seek guidance and tutorials.
7: Educational Content and Tutorials:
• Channels like The School of Life and TED-Ed use animation, voiceovers, and screen recordings to deliver informative and engaging educational content. This niche benefits from the evergreen nature of educational topics and a growing demand for online learning resources.
Instead of pre-recorded lectures or reading assignments, the course could be built around real-world challenges that students must solve. Each module could start with a difficult problem related to the subject, with learners working together to come up with solutions. The “answers” could be unlocked as they progress, turning learning into an active discovery process rather than a passive activity.
9: Health and Wellness:
• Channels focusing on fitness routines, healthy recipes, and wellness tips, like Chloe Ting and Yoga with Adriene, have a massive following and attract advertisers in the health and wellness industry.
10: AI News and Updates:
• The rapid advancements in AI and its increasing relevance across various industries create a high demand for informative and up-to-date content in this niche. Channels like Two Minute Papers and Lex Fridman have successfully capitalized on this trend.
How We Know These are Profitable Niches: The success of these niches is evident through various indicators:
• High view counts and subscriber numbers: Many popular YouTube channels in these niches boast millions of views and subscribers, demonstrating their appeal and potential for monetization.
• Strong ad revenue potential: Some of these niches, such as tech reviews and luxury lifestyle, attract advertisers willing to pay premium rates for ad placements.
• Low barrier to entry: Many of these formats, like top 10 videos and animation, can be created withoutspecialized skillsor expensive equipment, making them accessible to new creators.
• Evergreen content: Educational content, tutorials, and certain types of animation can remain relevant and generate views for a long time, providing a sustainable source of income.
But why stop at just 10?
We actually uncovered 25 niches in all.
1: Finance and Investing Tips
2: Language Learning & Cultural Exploration
1. 3: DIY & Home Improvement Projects
2. 4: Cooking & Recipe Demonstrations
3. 5: Product Reviews & Unboxing Videos
4. 6: Travel Vlogs & Destination Guides
5. 7: History & Documentary-Style Content
6. 8: Book Reviews & Literary Discussions
7. 9: Science Experiments & Explanations
8. 10: Art & Craft Tutorials
9. 11: Music Production & Instrument Lessons
10. 12: Coding & Programming Tutorials
11. 13: Personal Finance & Budgeting Advice
12. 14: Motivational & Inspirational Speeches
13. 15: Meditation & Mindfulness Guides
These niches can all be successful without showing your face on camera, either through voiceovers, animation, stock footage, or screen recordings. The key is to create highquality content that provides value and engages your target audience. Are There Even More Profitable Niches? Yes!
If you’re considering a niche that’s not on the list, do your own research. Are there multiple channels doing something similar that have a large subscriber base AND high engagement in the comments section?
If so, there’s a good chance of success for your own channel in that niche. How Can You Monetize Your Faceless YouTube Channel?
Even without showing your face, there are plenty of ways to monetize your faceless YouTube channel and turn your passion into profit:
1: Traditional Advertising (AdSense):
• The bread and butter of YouTube monetization, AdSense allows you to display ads on your videos and earn revenue based on views and clicks.
2: Affiliate Marketing:
• Promote products or services relevant to your niche and earn a commission for every sale made through your unique affiliate links. Faceless channels excel at this, as the focus remains on the product itself.
3: Sponsorships & Brand Deals:
• Once you have a decent following, brands may approach you for sponsored content or product placements within your videos.
4: Digital Product Sales:
• Create and sell your own digital products, such as ebooks, templates, courses, or presets, directly to your audience.
5: Merchandise:
• Design and sell merchandise related to your channel's theme or brand. This can include t-shirts, mugs, stickers, or other items that resonate with your audience.
6: Crowdfunding & Donations:
• Platforms like Patreon or Ko-fi allow your audience to support your channel through monthly subscriptions or one-time donations.
7: Channel Memberships:
• Offer exclusive perks and content to paying members, creating a recurring revenue stream.
8: License Your Content:
• If you create original music, animations, or stock footage, you can license your content to other creators or businesses.
9: Consulting or Coaching Services:
• Leverage your expertise in your niche to offer consulting or coaching services to your audience.
10: Live Streams & Super Chats:
• Engage with your audience in real-time through live streams, where viewers can purchase Super Chats to have their messages highlighted.
As you get started, keep in mind that success in any niche requires dedication, consistent content creation, and effective promotion.
Overnight success is super unlikely, but if you stick with it and enjoy the process of building your channel, in a year or two you can be earning a full-time income without ever stepping in front of the camera.
Case Study: Reverse Pricing Strategy Doubles Sales
Warning: This is a counterintuitive concept, but it's backed by psychology and proven results, so don’t just dismiss it as nonsense. Mei Pak makes and sells necklaces in the shape of snow cones on Etsy.
Just to build a little foundation, let’s talk about what most marketers do when they want to sell more of their product: They lower their prices. The problem with this is two-fold:
1. Competitors will then lower their price to stay competitive, and now you have a race to the bottom. Ouch.
2. It still takes you the same time to do things like create a product, perform customer service and so forth. Thus, you are now being paid less for your time, not more.
Here’s what you might not realize – many (most?) shoppers are not doing comparison pricing, especially for lower cost items. They see something they want, and they buy it.
And if your product is in a category of its own, then your customers cannot price shop because there is no one doing exactly what you offer.
If you’re offering a necklace for sale that looks just like the necklace 2 or 20 other sellers are offering, you have a commodity. Commodity selling is nearly always a race to see who can charge the least, and that’s bad.
But if, like Mei, you are creating a product that is unique, then you have no competition and you can charge more.
Also keep in mind that many sellers undervalue their product or service. Most customers care about the outcome of what a product is or does. Is it unique? High quality? Beautiful? Does it make them feel good? Does it solve their problem quickly? They don’t care so much about what goes into the product or how it’s made but rather what the product does for them.
Okay, you know where we’re headed, right?
Mei raised her prices and doubled her sales. But she didn’t raise her prices just once. Here’s what happened:
Mei conducted a pricing experiment on her best-selling product, a handmade scented snow cone necklace. Originally, she had it priced at $28.00, and she sold so many of them that she had a difficult time keeping up with the orders.
Her first test was to sell it at $35 instead of $28. Result? The increase in price didn’t hurt sales. In fact, MORE people bought at the higher price.
Next, she tested $40, and again, more people puchased at the higher price.
But she wasn’t done yet.
She tested $45 and yes, sales went up again, making her more money and profit.
Finally, she tested at $50, and sales dropped.
Mei figured that $45 must be the sweet spot.
But after a few weeks, she had a thought: There was room between $45 and $50 to do another test.
Can you guess what price she tested? $49.99.
Lo and behold, the $49.99 price WON. At this price, which was almost double her original price, she's getting MORE people viewing the product listing, more sales and more revenue. And the best thing was, she didn't have to change anything else about the product.
Do you have any idea why this worked? I suspect it's because $49.99 sounds like a much higher quality item than $28.
If you can do this in your own business, you will only need half the traffic to make the same amount of money, or the same traffic to essentially double your revenue.
Tips to successfully boost sales by pricing higher
Here are some tips to sell more by raising prices:
1. Elevate Your Presentation:
• Professional Photos: Ditch those blurry, amateur snapshots. Invest in high-quality product photos that showcase your offerings in the best possible light. Make your products look irresistible.
• Compelling Copy: Words matter. Craft compelling product descriptions that highlight the unique features and benefits of your offerings. Tell a story, evoke emotions, and make people desire what you're selling.
• Premium Packaging: First impressions matter. Upgrade your packaging to create a sense of luxury and exclusivity. Think elegant boxes, tissue paper, handwritten notes-you get the idea.
2. Reposition Your Brand:
• Highlight Value: Emphasize the value your products or services provide. Focus on the problems they solve, the benefits they offer, and the transformation they can bring to your customers' lives.
• Create a Premium Brand Story: Develop a compelling brand story that positions your offerings as high-quality and desirable. Share your passion, your unique selling proposition, and the reasons why your products are worth the investment.
• Target a New Audience: A higher price point might attract a more affluent or discerning clientele. Adjust your marketing efforts to target this new audience and tailor your messaging to their specific needs and desires.
3. Play with Pricing Psychology:
• Charm Pricing: Ending your prices in .99 or .95 can make them seem more appealing. It's a classic trick, but it works.
• Anchoring: Introduce a higher-priced option to make your other offerings seem more affordable in comparison. It's like that expensive bottle of wine on the menu that makes the rest seem like a bargain.
• Bundling: Offer packages or bundles of products or services at a discounted price. This encourages customers to buy more and perceive greater value.
4. Focus on Customer Experience:
• Exceptional Service: Provide top-notch customer service that makes people feel valued and appreciated. A positive experience can justify a higher price point and foster customer loyalty.
• Exclusive Perks: Offer exclusive perks or benefits to your customers, such as free shipping, personalized recommendations, or early access to new products.
• Build a Community: Create a sense of community around your brand. This fosters loyalty and encourages customers to feel invested in your products and services.
What You Need to Know:
• Raising prices isn't a magic bullet. It needs to be supported by a strong brand, high-quality offerings, and exceptional customer experience.
• Don't underestimate the power of perception. How you present your products and services can significantly influence how people perceive their value.
• Monitor your results and adjust your strategy as needed. Pay attention to customer feedback and sales data to ensure your pricing strategy is effective.
By implementing these strategies, you can confidently raise your prices while increasing sales and building a stronger, more profitable brand.
A Case Study: From Google Ranking Hero to Zero
Once upon a time, there was a website owner named Alex who was thrilled with his website's ranking on Google. He had been working hard on his SEO for months, and his efforts had finally paid off. His website was ranking high for several important keywords as well as many product names, and he was getting a lot of organic traffic.
His website reviewed products for babies and young children. He and his wife Emma used their own money to purchase these products for their three small children, and then he wrote extensively detailed and unbiased reports about the products.
Their income from this site was quickly approaching $10K per month, so you can imagine how devasted they were to wake up one morning and find their website had dropped significantly in the search results. The site was no longer ranking high for their keywords, and organic traffic plummeted.
Alex and Emma didn't know what had happened or how to fix it.
Google Strikes Again
Alex started doing some research and soon realized that his website had been hit by a Google algorithm update. Google's algorithm is constantly changing, and sometimes these changes can have a big impact on website rankings.
Alex was determined to get his website back to the top of the search results. He started by making some changes to his website, such as improving the user experience and adding more high-quality content. He also started building backlinks to his website from other high-quality websites.
It took Alex a lot of time and effort, but he was eventually able to get his website back to the top of the search results. He learned a valuable lesson about the importance of staying up-to-date on Google's algorithm changes and making sure their website is always providing value to its users.
Here are some key takeaways from Alex and Emma's story:
1. User Experience is King (or Queen)
Search engines, especially Google, are becoming increasingly sophisticated in understanding what users want. It's no longer just about having the most keywordstuffed content; it's about creating a webpage that's delightful to use.
People are more likely to stick around on a page that's easy to navigate, loads quickly, and presents information in a clear, organized way.
Think of it this way: If you walked into a cluttered, disorganized store, you'd probably turn around and leave. The same goes for websites. Features like clear navigation, filters, and multiple product options can make a huge difference in keeping users engaged and satisfied, signaling to Google that your site is valuable and deserving of a higher ranking.
2. Give the People What They Want
It's not just about your product; it's about what the user is actually searching for. If someone searches for "best budget laptops," they likely want to compare options from different sellers.
Including links to multiple sellers shows you understand their intent and aren't just trying to push your own product. This can boost your credibility and lead to higher rankings, as Google rewards websites that provide the most relevant and helpful information to users.
3. User Intent is Your North Star
Forget about creating content just because you think it's interesting or relevant to your brand. The real question is: What are people actually searching for? Conduct keyword research, analyze search trends, and pay attention to the questions your audience is asking. By creating content that directly addresses their needs and search queries, you'll attract more targeted traffic and increase your chances of ranking higher on Google.
4. Niche Down, Stand Out
Trying to be everything to everyone is a recipe for mediocrity. Instead of creating generic content that appeals to a broad audience, focus on a specific niche and cater to their unique needs and interests. This targeted approach allows you to establish yourself as an authority in your chosen area and attract a loyal following of highly engaged users.
5. Don't Put All Your Eggs in One (Google) Basket
Relying solely on Google for traffic is a risky strategy. Algorithm updates can happen overnight, and your rankings can plummet without warning.
Diversify your traffic sources by leveraging social media, email marketing, and other channels. This ensures that even if one source dries up, you still have a steady stream of visitors coming to your website.
Bottom Line: When you follow these tips, you help to ensure that your website stays high in the search results, even when Google's algorithm changes.

Today I am excited to welcome Carl Galletti, a distinguished figure in the world of marketing and copywriting. Known for his insightful strategies and profound understanding of direct response marketing, Carl has helped numerous businesses achieve success, and with his ability to transform complex marketing challenges into opportunities for growth, Carl has become a rather important figure in the industry. So Carl, it's a pleasure to meet you.
Carl Galletti:
Glad to meet you too. Pleasure to be here.
Editor:
What I'd like to start with is just a little overview. Your career spans several decades now in marketing, so what first drew you to this field?
Carl Galletti:
Well, a long time ago, I read Confessions of an Advertising Man by David Ogilvy, and I got interested in the field of advertising, but never did anything with it. Many years later, I went to a seminar because I was in real estate.
I was a real estate broker at the time, and they send you to seminars every so often. And so, I was sitting in the middle of a seminar, it was like $395, which in those days was a lot more money than it is today. I got looked around.
There were like a couple hundred people, and I started adding this all up, and I'm saying, "Okay. This is a room that you rent from a hotel.
There's a speaker here.
I'm sure you could hire a speaker for some amount of money and it can't be all that much compared to how much money is here.
What is the secret of getting all these people here?"
I finally deduced that it was the copywriting, that was the advertising that got them there. So, I got interested in that, and I said, "I want to know how to get people to a seminar."
So, I had subscribed to Entrepreneur Magazine.
In the back, they had these reports, and I was looking at them, and I had never ordered any before. So I saw one about how to get people to a seminar, how to promote a seminar, and then I did a couple others, and I called them up to order.
In those days, the internet wasn't as prevalent as today. I called up to order, and they up-sold me on a package for that, including that report and the other ones I wanted, plus a whole bunch more stuff. So I did the upsell, and then what I didn't know is that Jay Abraham had advised them to do this, and in exchange, he was able to use the list to promote his own newsletter, which he came out with, so he sent me a promotion for his newsletter.
Carl Galletti:
I read the sales letter for it, and I said, "I had never ordered a newsletter for $500 for a year in my life." At the time, that was a lot more money than it is today. I orderedthat thing, because by the end of the sales letter, I was just sold on it. I said, "If this guy charges $2,000 an hour for phone consultation, and he can write a sales letter this good, I not only want to know everything he knows, I want to know who he learned it from."
So, I got his newsletter, and in there, I got introduced to people like Claude Hopkins and Scientific Advertising, and because of that, I said, "I have to know who this guy is. I'm going to call Jay up and ask him," but before I was able to actually call, I got a letter from Gary Halbert, and I didn't know it was Gary Halbert who wrote this, the Boron, basically The Boron Letters, because Jay didn't give his name, right?
But when I opened up the letter, the sales letter for it, he talked about the Tova Borgnine promotion that he did, and I connected immediately that it was the same guy. So, I ordered his newsletter, and I was a lifetime. I was one of the first subscribers to his newsletter, because I called up and his girlfriend at the time, Paulette, answered.
Later on, I had found out from her that I was like one of the first people to order Gary Halbert's newsletter, and I still have all his newsletters to this day. They were fantastic. From him, I learned about the Robert Collier letter book and all of the masters of copywriting, marketing, and advertising, and just learned from Gary and Jay Abraham, and eventually they hired me to write for them, so I was a freelance copyright.
I became a freelance copywriter at the time, and have been ever since and went on from there.
Editor:
It's an amazing story, Carl. I mean, you mentioned some real heavyweights there, Jay Abraham, Gary Halbert, and so on and now of course we add Carl Galletti to that list.
You've been referred to, for many years now, as a copywriting legend. Can you maybe share what that means to you now to be regarded in such high regard alongside your peers?
Carl Galletti:
Well, I wish my family felt the same way about it. To them, I'm just an average Joe. But anyway, it's great to have some degree of fame, but I think it was a producer in movies who said, "You're only as good as your last picture, right? So, the next picture, you still have to prove yourself."
So, you always have to keep proving yourself. The only way to do that, really, is to keep up and to review the basics, and learn the new stuff, but Dan Kennedy did this thing, where he said, "Principles never change," and Jay Abraham used to say something similar.
He said that human nature is immutable, meaning it doesn't change.
What got people to buy stuff 1000 years ago is the same thing that gets them to buy stuff today, but that doesn't change. Strategies change, like your strategy one time might be, TV's the latest thing, and then before that it was radio, and then magazines and newspapers, et cetera, so those strategies change, and how you use those mediums, as a strategy, change.
Tactics change often, so you hear people talk about how things move so quickly on the internet. Well, there are only the tactics that are changing quickly on the internet, but the strategies, the fact that there is an internet and how you use that strategy to promote stuff, that changes, but it changes less often, and actually kind of rarely.
But the principles, what it takes to sell people and to promote stuff doesn't change, so studying Claude Hopkins is critical to understanding how to write copy, because he was there. What happens is when you go to the source, what I call the source is these are the people who came up with it in the first place, and they usually have the best insights, because they're not repeating off of what people came before them.
They're creating it anew. It was never there before, and they have some insights that are just unique and interesting, and you can learn a lot from them.
Editor:
On a personal level, how has it changed for you from when you first started?
Carl Galletti:
Well, remember when I said, "I not only want to know what Jay Abraham knows, I want to know who we learned it from," and that's why whenever he mentioned something, like Claude Hopkins or a book, in those days he had mentioned scientific advertising and my life in advertising. In those days, they weren't at the bookstores. You couldn't buy them online, so I had to call Crane Publishing in Chicago, get on the phone with somebody, and get them to sell me the book, and of course, I had to write out a check, put it in the mail, wait for it to get there, and then they sent it to me. It was like, "Oh. it's a several week procedure" so that's what it took to get it in those days. these things, and as a sideline to my copywriting business, I sold these books.
MWM Q & A
3 Bodacious Podcasting Power Punches
So, you've jumped on the podcasting bandwagon. Yeah!!!
You've got your fancy mics, your carefully curated playlist, and your witty banter honed to perfection. Who-hoo!
But let's be real here - are your listeners actually hanging on your every word?
Or are they zoning out, scrolling through Instagram, and secretly wishing they'd opted for a cat video instead?
If you're ready to massively improve your podcast game and leave your audience begging for more, then pay close attention.
I’m about to unveil 3 secret weapons that'll transform your podcast from "meh" to "must-listen."
Podcasting Power Punch #1 - Pregnant Pauses
One of the real secrets to a dynamite podcast lies in one simple, yet often overlooked, tactic…
The Power of the Pause
Yes, you heard that right. The pause. That brief moment of silence that can feel like an eternity in the fast-paced world of audio content. "Ums" and "ahhs"?
Yeah, those aren't doing your podcast any favors.
Replace those filler words with powerful pauses, and you'll instantly sound more confident and engaging.
Pauses are incredibly powerful. They create anticipation, build suspense, and allow your words to sink in. They give your listeners a chance to catch their breath, process what you've said, and prepare for what's coming next.
Think of it like a well-placed comma in a sentence. It might seem insignificant, but it can completely change the meaning and impact of your words.
Here's how to wield the power of the pause
• Before a punchline or key point: A brief pause before delivering a punchline or a crucial piece of information builds anticipation and makes your message more impactful.
• After asking a question: Give your listeners a moment to ponder your question before you answer it or move on. This encourages them to actively engage with your content.
• To create a sense of drama or suspense: A well-timed pause can add an element of mystery and intrigue to your storytelling.
Bonus tip: Don't be afraid to let your pauses be a little longer than you think they should be. It might feel uncomfortable at first, but trust me, it's worth it.
Bottom line: The pause is a simple yet powerful tool that can elevate your podcast from "meh" to "must-listen." So, embrace the silence, master the art of the pause, and watch your audience engagement soar.
Podcasting Power Punch #2 – Post-Roll CTA
Here’s a sneaky little tactic that can skyrocket your audience engagement and turn those casual listeners into raving fans, not to mention increasing your bottom line.
You know those lackluster mid-roll ads that everyone skips? Forget those.
The real magic happens after your episode ends, in that often-neglected post-roll space.
Here's the trick - Craft a compelling, personalized call to action (CTA) that leaves your listeners hanging on your every word.
• Don't just say goodbye: Instead of a generic "thanks for listening," tell your audience exactly what you want them to do next.
• Make it specific and actionable: Want them to visit your website? Tell them the exact URL and what they'll find there. Want them to leave a review? Give them step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
• Inject personality: Use your unique voice and style to make your CTA memorable and engaging.
• Offer an incentive: Consider offering a bonus episode, a discount code, or a freebie to those who take action.
Why it works
• Captive Audience: Listeners who've made it to the end of your episode are clearly engaged and invested in your content. They want more, which is why they're primed and ready to take the next step, if you just tell them what that step is.
• Eliminates Friction: By providing clear instructions and a direct link, you remove any barriers to action.
• Builds Relationships: A personalized CTA shows you care about your audience and value their engagement.
Example
Instead of a generic sign-off, try something like this:
"Hey there, podcast fam! If you enjoyed today's episode, head over to [easy to remember URL] to grab my free cheat sheet on [topic related to your episode]. And don't forget to leave a review on Apple Podcasts - it helps more awesome people like you discover the show!"
Bottom Line
Stop wasting that valuable post-roll real estate. Use it to drive action, build relationships, and turn your podcast into a marketing powerhouse.
Podcasting Power Punch #3 - Guest Collaboration
Podcasts are everywhere these days, but let's face it, many of them blend into a monotonous sea of mediocrity. So how do you make your podcast stand out and attract a loyal audience? It's not just about fancy equipment or slick editing (though those help!). The real magic lies in guest collaboration.
Why Guest Collaboration is a Game-Changer
1. Tap into New Audiences: When you invite guests onto your podcast, you're not just getting their expertise; you're also tapping into their audience. Their listeners are likely to check out your show, expanding your reach and introducing you to potential new fans.
2. Boost Your Credibility: Featuring knowledgeable guests in your niche positions you as a curator of valuable content. It adds credibility and authority to your show, making you a go-to source for information and insights.
3. Generate Fresh Perspectives: Having guests on your podcast injects new energy and fresh perspectives into your content. It keeps things interesting for your listeners and prevents your show from becoming stale or predictable.
4. Foster Community & Connection: Guest collaborations can spark conversations and build relationships with other creators in your industry. This can lead to future collaborations, cross-promotions, and a sense of community around your podcast.
5. Leverage Their Marketing Power: Your guests are likely to promote their appearance on your podcast to their own audience, generating even more buzz and exposure for your show.
Tips for Effective Guest Collaboration
• Choose Guests Wisely: Select guests who are relevant to your niche, have an engaging personality, and can provide valuable insights to your audience.
• Prepare Thoroughly: Research your guest and their work, and prepare thoughtful questions that will spark interesting conversation.
• Promote the Episode: Create buzz around the guest episode by sharing teasers, quotes, and behind-the-scenes content on social media.
• Encourage Sharing: Ask your guest to share the episode with their audience and make it easy for them to do so by providing social media graphics and links.
• Nurture Relationships: Stay in touch with your guests after the episode airs, building long-term relationships and potential for future collaborations.
Bottom Line
Guest collaboration is a powerful tool for any podcaster looking to grow their audience, build credibility, and create engaging content. It's a win-win situation for both you and your guests, providing mutual benefits and fostering a sense of community within your niche.

Course Creation Killers: 7 Deadly Sins to Avoid
So, you've poured your heart and soul into crafting the perfect online course. You're brimming with knowledge, bursting with enthusiasm, and ready to share your wisdom with the world.
But wait... why aren't the sales rolling in?
Let’s expose the 7 deadly sins of course creation that might be secretly sabotaging your success.
Deadly Sin #1. The "If You Build It, They Will Come" Delusion
Newsflash: Just because you've created a course doesn't mean people will magically flock to it. You need to market it, darling.
And no, spamming your Facebook friends doesn't count. Build an audience, create buzz, and make people want what you're offering.
Deadly Sin #2. The "One-Size-Fits-All" Fiasco
Trying to please everyone is a surefire way to please no one. Identify your target audience and tailor your course to their specific needs and desires. Stop trying to be a jack-of-all-trades and become a master of one.
Deadly Sin #3. The "Blah-Blah-Blah" Content Borefest
Let's be honest, no one wants to sit through hours of monotone lectures and dry PowerPoints.
Spice up your course with engaging visuals, interactive quizzes, and real-life examples. Make it fun, dang it!
Deadly Sin #4. The "I'm the Expert, So Listen Up" Attitude
Being knowledgeable is great, but being approachable is even better.
Create a welcoming and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and interacting with you and each other. Remember, it's not about you; it's about them.
Deadly Sin #5. The "Launch It and Forget It" Blunder
Launching your course is just the beginning, not the end. You need to nurture your students, provide ongoing support, and keep them engaged throughout the learning process.
Otherwise, they'll drop out faster than you can say "refund."
Deadly Sin #6. The "Price is Everything" Fallacy
While pricing is important, it's not the only factor that influences sales.
Focus on providing exceptional value, building trust, and showcasing the transformation your course can offer. Remember, people invest in results, not just a cheap price tag.
Deadly Sin #7. The "I'm Too Scared to Launch" Paralysis
Perfectionism is the enemy of progress. Don't let fear hold you back from launching your course.
Get it out there, gather feedback, and iterate as you go. The sooner you launch, the sooner you can start making an impact and generating revenue.
Bottom Line:
Creating a successful online course requires more than just expertise in your subject matter.
It demands a strategic approach to marketing, a focus on providing value, and a willingness to adapt and improve.
Avoid these seven deadly sins, and you'll be well on your way to creating a course that not only sells but also transforms your students' lives.
This Mind-Flip That Makes It Impossible To Fail FLASHBACK TO FEBRUARY 2021
Setting aside every self-help book out there, I’d like to propose the theory that there is ONE thing you need to be successful, and that you are already in possession of this thing. You just don’t know it yet.
Ten years ago two marketers started their online journey. They both endured similar pitfalls and setbacks. One went on to make millions.
The other one failed miserably and works a 9 to 5 job. What made the difference?
The mind-flip.
Imagine you have a switch in your brain, and every time you have any kind of setback whatsoever, you flip that switch into finding the positive in it.
No, I’m not talking about pie-in-the-sky rainbows and magic pink unicorn thinking. I’m talking flip your own switch because no one else is going to do it for you.
Instead of getting discouraged, angry or sad, find the good or the lesson in everything that normally gets you down. This is called resilience. We’re told to be resilient, to bounce back from defeat and just keep moving, but no one tells us how to do that.
So, let me try, and see if this resonates with you.
You get an angry email from a customer. Yeah! This is your chance to make it right while also finding out if there is perhaps a flaw in your product. What an awesome thing to have happen! Your formerly angry customer now understands what happened, they’re thrilled with the attention you paid to them and how you resolved the issue, and you have feedback on how to improve the way customers use your product.
You have trouble with your website. Yeah! Now you get to call your host or your website builder or whoever and let them show you what awesome service they provide. You’re not happy with the result? Yeah! Now you have the perfect reason to go find a new host or webmaster who will make you happy!
Croissant Simplifies Multi-Platform Posting
Croissant has launched an iOS app that allows social media users to streamline cross-posting to Mastodon, Bluesky and Threads with tools like threaded posts and image attachments. Developers hope to expand the platform to iPad and Mac, as well as to introduce additional features such as scheduled posts and username auto-completion.
Elon's X Marks the Spot... for Declining User Engagement
Despite Elon Musk's claims of record-high usage, new data reveals that X (formerly Twitter) is experiencing a significant decline in users, particularly in the US and UK. This drop coincides with Musk's increasingly divisive political commentary on the platform, including a recent post predicting a "civil war" in the UK.
Data from Similarweb shows a dramatic decrease in daily active users in both regions. In the UK, active users have plummeted from 8 million a year ago to 5.6 million today, with a third of that decline occurring since the summer riots. Similarly, in the US, active users have fallen by about a fifth over the same period.
These findings suggest that Musk's controversial pronouncements and platform changes are alienating users and driving them away from X. Whether this trend will continue or if Musk can reverse the decline remains to be seen.
The Challenge: Can 12 AI-Generated Articles Drive 10,000 Views on a Brand-New Website in 30 Days?
So, you've launched a shiny new website. Congratulations! But now what? Are you just going to sit there, twiddling your thumbs and waiting for the internet gods to shower you with traffic? (Spoiler alert: they won't.)
If you want to escape the desolate wasteland of page-view purgatory, you need a content strategy that's faster than a cheetah on Red Bull. And guess what? AI-generated content is your rocket fuel.
Now, before you start picturing robots churning out soulless, spammy articles, let's get one thing straight: AI content has come a long way, baby. With the right tools and a sprinkle of human magic, you can create high-quality, engaging content that'll make Google swoon.
The 12-Article Traffic Tornado:
Here's the challenge: Can you generate 10,000 website views in just 30 days using only 12 AI-generated articles?
You bet your sweet bippy you can!
In fact, I've seen it done. Mind you, I'm also sworn to secrecy on the exact site and niche because this person doesn't want a few thousand people to do the exact same thing for their main keyword, but I do know how they did it.
Here's the game plan:
1. Keyword Kombat: Ditch the guesswork and use tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush to identify those juicy keywords your target audience is actually searching for. Think of it as eavesdropping on their Google searches, but less creepy.
2. AI-Powered Content Creation: Fire up your favorite AI writing tool (Jasper, Copy.ai, you name it) and start generating those articles. But don't just hit "generate" and call it a day. Add your own unique insights, sprinkle in some personality, and make sure it reads like a human wrote it (a witty, charming human, of course).
3. SEO Sorcery: Optimize those articles like your life depends on it. Craft compelling headlines, sprinkle in those keywords, and make sure your content is structured for readability. Think of it as giving your content a makeover that would make even Google's algorithms drool.
Promotion Pandemonium: Unleashing Your AI-Powered Content Upon the World (and Watching the Traffic Flood In)
MWM FLASHBACK
Okay, you've got your arsenal of AI-generated articles, each one a masterpiece of informative and engaging content (if we do say so ourselves).
But here's the thing: even the most brilliant content won't magically attract readers if it's hidden in the depths of your website. It's time to unleash your promotional superpowers and get those articles in front of the eyeballs they deserve.
Think of it like this: you've baked a batch of mouthwatering cookies, but they're not going to magically disappear from your kitchen counter. You need to invite people over, share them on social media, or maybe even set up a cookie stand on the corner (we won't judge).
Here's your promotional playbook:
• Social Media Savvy: Share those articles on every social media platform you can think of. Craft catchy captions, use relevant hashtags, and tag influencers or relevant accounts to expand your reach. Don't be afraid to get creative with visuals and videos to make your content pop.
• Email Marketing Extravaganza: Got an email list? Great! Send out a newsletter featuring your latest AI-powered articles. But don't just blast out a generic email; personalize your message, segment your list, and make people feel like they're getting exclusive access to valuable content.
• Guest Blogging Glory: Reach out to other websites or blogs in your niche and offer to write a guest post featuring a link back to your AIgenerated article. It's a win-win: you get exposure to a new audience, and they get awesome content.
• Forum Frenzy: Find online forums or communities related to your niche and share your articles (where appropriate). But don't just spam your links; engage in conversations, provide value, and become a respected member of the community.
• Content Repurposing Power: Don't let those articles gather dust after their initial promotion. Repurpose them into different formats, like infographics, videos, or even social media posts. It's like giving your content a new outfit and introducing it to a whole new crowd.
Promoting your AI-generated content is just as important as creating it. By using a multi-faceted approach and getting your articles in front of the right audience, you'll drive traffic to your website, build brand awareness, and establish yourself as an authority in your niche.
So, go forth and promote like your website's life depends on it!
Scaling Your AI Content Empire: From 10,000 Views to 100,000 (and Beyond!)
Alright, you've conquered the first hurdle. Your AI-powered content has catapulted your website from zero to 10,000 views in a month.
But let's be honest, you're not here to play small, are you? It's time to crank things up to eleven and scale your content operation like a boss.
Think of it like this: You've built a rocket ship, but now it's time to blast off into the stratosphere. Here's how to turn your content engine into a traffic-generating powerhouse: Expanding Your Content Universe
• Increase the Frequency: If 12 articles got you 10,000 views, imagine what 24 could do! Ramp up your content production and flood those search engines with your brilliance. But remember, quality over quantity, always.
• Hire Some Humans (Yes, Really): AI is awesome, but it can't do everything (yet). Bring in some talented freelance writers to add that human touch, polish those AIgenerated gems, and tackle more complex or nuanced topics.
• Explore New Territories: Don't be afraid to branch out into related niches or explore new content formats. The more diverse your content, the wider your audience reach.
Enhancing Your Promotional Prowess
• Influencer Power-Ups: Partner with influencers or industry experts to promote your content to their audience. It's like having your own personal hype squad, but with more credibility and less awkward dance moves.
• Live and Kicking: Host webinars or live sessions to engage with your audience in real-time. It's a chance to build relationships, answer questions, and showcase your expertise (and maybe even your killer dance moves, if you're feeling brave).
• SEO Black Belt Status: Take your SEO game to the next level. Build high-quality backlinks, guest post on relevant websites, and master the art of on-page optimization. Think of it as giving your content a black belt in search engine visibility. Monetization Mayhem
• Affiliate Commissions: Sprinkle those affiliate links throughout your content like confetti at a party. But don't be spammy about it. Offer genuine recommendations and valuable insights, and watch those commissions roll in.
• Product Powerhouse: Create and sell your own digital products, like ebooks, online courses, or templates. It's a great way to monetize your expertise and provide even more value to your audience.
• Recurring Revenue Rhapsody: Explore subscription models or ad placements to create a steady stream of income. It's like building a money-making machine that works even while you sleep (or, you know, take a well-deserved vacation).
Scaling your AI content strategy is about more than just creating more articles. It's about building a sustainable content ecosystem that attracts, engages, and converts your audience.
By implementing these strategies and continually optimizing your approach, you can turn your website into a traffic-generating, moneymaking machine.
The Proof is in the Pudding (or the Page Views)
This isn't just some pie-in-the-sky theory. Realworld case studies have shown that AI-generated content can drive massive traffic in a short amount of time.
One website went from zero to 750,000 monthly visitors in just 12 months using AI-generated content. (Source: Single Grain)
The Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a fast track to traffic town, AI-generated content is your golden ticket. It's efficient, effective, and surprisingly easy to implement (once you get the hang of it).
The trick is to put yourself in your articles with your tone, your stories, your views and your essence. You can totally do this!
Ditch your writer's block, embrace the power of AI, and watch those page views skyrocket.

In This Course, You'll Find Out How To Get Started With Your Own Membership Site, How To Structure it, What Type of Content To Provide, Pricing And Much more
Why Should You Create a Membership Site?
Essentially, a membership site is a site that users pay to subscribe to. This normally works by first enticing the reader with some free content and showing them the kind of entertainment/information/value that you’re capable of providing.
Once they’re hooked, you then make sure they know that they need to subscribe in order to gain access to your very best content and to get frequently updated. So what’s so different about this? Well for starters, it means that you can much more easily convert visitors to paying customers seeing as they’re not having to put down a large amount of money and seeing as they know what they’re getting right away. This means the money is recurring and much more predictable.
