With an impressive mixture of experience and youth, Central/West has loads of potential is it looks for a playoff berth.
Back behind the bench for this third-year entry is Will Ortiz, the former longtime leader of the Framingham HS team, who this upcoming year joins the program at prep school power Dexter Southfield.

Returning to the squad up front is JamisonAlicandro, who brings his talents to Worcester Academy for a PG year after a solid career at Shrewsbury HS. Senior Chris Foster, from the Springfield Pics program, also is capable of dotting the scoresheet.
Making is HNIB debut is Franklin HS senior Dylan Marchand, a flashy playmaking forward. Also debuted in this Major Showcase is Max Beaulac, headed for the Railers after a big senior year at Fitchburg HS.
Minnechaug Regional was an offensive dynamo in Western Mass. and two big reasons why were the exploits of Jackson Duquette and David Noel.
Senior Will Arsenault moves over from the Suburban entry and looks for a big season this winter at St. John’s Shrewsbury. Big Sean Baker was a going concern last season at Longmeadow HS.
On the blue line, senior Matthew Schirm returns to the Central/West lineup. Look for big things from postgrad Eddie Mulligan, coming off an impressive senior campaign at Mt. St. Charles in Rhode Island.

Ted Justicz, a recent blue liner at Governor’s Academy, and Anthony Doucette, who hails from Millbury.
Leominster High standout Allesandro Conte, a senior, and St. John’s Shrewsbury ’s Zach MacLeod, a junior, will have key defensive roles for coach Ortiz.
In goal, junior Cam Wickens looks forward to the junior hockey ranks with the Railers. He will be joined between the pipes for Central/West by Worcester’s own Josh Lemieux.
