With a strong representation from several of the top programs south of Boston, this summer’s South Shore entry will be a tough commodity.

Veteran Marshfield HS Dan Connolly returns to the South Shore bench and has a team built for success.

Senior Jack Silva returns up front for coach Connolly after helping lead Xaverian to the Catholic Conference crown. Also back in the lineup are the Marshfield duo of seniors Dan Kane and Nick Souretis, two very capable offensive players.

Archbishop Williams had its best season in years and a big reason why was the solid play of senior Jackson Sylvester.

Rugged Aidan Brazel exploded to the forefront with powerhouse Hingham this past winter and readies for an even bigger junior campaign with the Harbormen.

Two skaters who should have an immediate impact are Nick Solari out of Kingston, and Cormac Flaherty, out of Quincy, both of whom will be with the Worcester Railers Jr. Hockey Club of the EHL this coming year.

Another South Shore heavy, Braintree HS, is well-represented up front by senior Garrett Coughlin and the flashy junior duo of Nick Fasano and Kyle Hutchinson.

Two more products of the deep Hingham program ready to open some eyes are Andrew Concannon and Billy Jacobus.

In senior veteran Bobby Falvey, South Shore will have one of the Showcase’s top rearguards leading the way defensively. He will be joined on the back end by a pair of Hingham HS teammates in senior Drew Carleton and junior Chase McKenna. Strong defense was a hallmark for the Harbormen this past season.

Junior Brady Clark heads to the prep ranks with Williston Northampton after a nice sophomore season with Marshfield. Junior Jake Hemingway of Marshfield HS will keep opposing forwards honest in front of the net.

Braintree’s Danny Keegan is another impressive blue liner on the South Shore back end.

The goaltending chores will be handled by post-grad Aidan Healey, bound for Vermont Academy, and senior Luke Merian, primed for the top job this winter at Hingham HS.
