With a senior-laden group, Mid-Atlantic should be a competitive group that will give opponents fits.
Bringing this team into action will be Geoff Marottolo, a keen hockey man with Donahue Hockey Skills in Connecticut.
From New Jersey, senior brothers Mark Anthony Competello and Dominick Competello will be key offensive performers, as they are at Central Regional HS.
Pennsylvania native Michael McVey, who plays at Notre Dame in New Jersey, will be asked to provide some key offensive punch, as will senior Nicholas Shytenberg of the Fair

Senior Anthony DeFilio is a returning Mid-Atlantic skater who lights the lamp at Connecticut’s Sheehan HS. Senior Parker Sprankle is eyeing a big winter season for the Eastern CTEagles, a HS co-op program.
Senior Colby Faughnan is a key at CT’s Notre Dame of West Haven HS. Also hailing from Connecticut is senior Michael Pilato, a teammate of Faughnan’s this past winter at NDWH.
The lone junior in the forward ranks is Hunter Carlson; the Unionville HS (PA) product impressed at HNIB’s MidAtlantic Festival this past June.
Defensively, senior Jake Icklan from Cranford HS (NJ) will be a cornerstone, as will Andrew Werthman from NJ’s Notre Dame HS.
Connecticut is represented by a pair of rearguards in senior Anthony Gesino from the Eastern CT Eagles program, and Lyman Hall’s Kenny MacKenzie.
