Opportunistic scoring and strong defensive play with be the hallmark of this summer’s North Shore entry, which is hoping to challenge for a playoff berth.

North Shore will be coached by Malden Catholic mentor Chris Kuchar, who for certain will have his club ready to go.

Veteran presence and strong offensive skill will come from the tandem of Conor Donovan, a North Shore returner, and Drew Olivieri. The pair, teammates for years with Swampscott HS, will both be with the Worcester Railers Jr. Hockey Club in the Eastern Hockey League this winter.

NorthAndover’s Cullen Dolan, a senior, will have an impact up front. The same goes for both senior Kevin DeMichaelis, a stalwart at Andover HS, and rugged junior Jonathan Keefe out of Governor’sAcademy via Ipswich.

North Shore should have one of the deepest blue line groups, definitely a team strength.

Senior Seth Robinson, a Haverhill native, joined the blue line crew atAvon Old Farms last season and fit right in. He will be a key for the Winged Beavers again this winter. Joining Robinson at Avon will be post-grad Owen Spence, coming off a standout career at Newburyport HS.
