Team Boasts Wide Array Of Talent

Anice blend of youth and experience, and of players representing public, Catholic, and prep schools, and even juniors, should breed some excitement for Greater Boston.

This summer, this unit will be coached by Tim Murphy, the associate head coach at Mass. HS power Catholic Memorial.

Three post-grads all returning from last summer’s Greater Boston outfit are ready to lead the way. Kyle LoNigro put the finishing touches on a great career at St. Mary ’s and heads off to Tilton School. the EHL, while Luc Denney had some prolific numbers at Cambridge.

Murphy welcomes a trio of his Catholic Memorial forwards who will cause opposing defenses fits. Senior Aidan Tripp (West Roxbury), senior Luke Stacey (Walpole) and junior James Koo (Chestnut Hill) will show their talents.

Junior Brayden Naumann, another GB returner, skates during the winter for prep power Dexter Southfield. Senior Michael Lynch is a go-to forward at Pingree School.

Senior Jackson Hurd-Messom, a Medford native, plays his regular season hockey at Governor’s Academy in the prestigious Keller Division. Keep an eye on junior standout Paraskevas Lykourinos, coming off a big year for Medway HS.

Dedham senior Brendan Stamm and Boston Latin junior James Fitzgerald will look to contribute offensively.

The defense will be anchored by senior Sean Connolly, a Hockomock League MVP for Canton HS who moves over from the Suburban entry. Also hailing from Canton is Vinnie Sica, who moves to the prep ranks at Thayer after a great year for the Bulldogs.

Medford HS senior Aidan Doherty is back for another summer season with Greater Boston.

Rounding out the unit are senior Ryan Dutcher, the backbone of the blue line at Holliston HS, and junior Alex Fookson from the Rivers School.

Waltham finished unbeaten in last year’s abbreviated season and a big reason why was the play in goal of senior Jack Perry. Fionn McGowan from Cambridge is ready to show what he can do between the pipes.
