Metropolitan
New Name, But Same Solid Work Ethic

This team may be newly-named this summer as Metropolitan, but it will come with the usual strong work ethic.
The nucleus of this hard-working club was constructed by coach Matt Lavallee, who is with the Maine Moose program.
Coach Lavallee will be very familiar with at least a couple of guys in the forward ranks, as post-grad Gabe Poirier will be with the Moose program this winter, as will junior Edward Koza, out of Exeter, NH.
Senior Owen Cross from Hampden Academy will be a going concern up front, as will junior flash Austin Kaminaris, a

Nashua NH product who plays with the Islanders Hockey Club.
Senior Cameron Rizzo hails from West Gardiner, ME is looks to be a key fixture with the Moose this winter. Postgrad Colby Carlisle just finished up a solid career at Presque Isle HS and is ready to make the jump to juniors.
Suffield (CT) High’s Jordan Blais, a senior, will be his grit and solid two-way play. A sophomore to watch is Jack Stec, who plays his winter hockey at Kent School in the prep ranks.
From the D1 Mass. HS ranks comes Andover’s Mikey Bourgeois, fresh off a solid sophomore season with the Golden Warriors. Fellow junior Anthony Rodrigues, an Ashland native, is a key for the Islanders Hockey Club’s U18 program.
The Maine Moose’s Camren Knowles, a post-grad, will be a solid presence on the Metropolitan blue line, as will veteran Matt Poirier out of Gardiner, ME.
Senior Max Meserve, out of Maine’s Thornton Academy, was with the Northeast entry in the HNIB Showcase last summer and brings that tourney experience. Robert Cooke, out of Stoneham (MA) HS, will be a keen contributor.
In goal, post-grad Liam McGibbon is a veteran backstop, who will be with the Danbury Hat Tricks of the NA3HL for the coming year, will handle the duties, along with senior Alec Sullivan from Reading HS.
