l martes 8 de octubre, la famosa agrupación del genero regional mexicano Los Tigres del Norte, ofrecieron un concierto a favor de una reforma migratoria que incluya la opción a la ciudadanía, en el National Mall en Washington DC. Lilia Downs abrió el concierto que comenzó después del mediodía con cuatro canciones, para ceder el escenario a los Tigres del Norte durante dos horas completas. Félix Sánchez, director de la Fundación Nacional Hispana para las Artes, dijo que los dos artistas lo realizaron de forma gratuita. “Las canciones de Los Tigres del Norte han sido la voz del movimiento de la reforma migratoria, porque sus letras son muy poderosas”, agregó.
