Seven generations of tea merchants have owned the family business and the historical tea shop has not changed much in 180 years. JOSEFINE BERGSØE Humans and animals have adorned themselves since the dawn of time. We use jewelry to transmit a silent signal, to reveal a desire, share our joy, or merely to indulge ourselves. When words fail us, one single piece can send an even stronger, more eloquent, message. All Josefine Bergsøe’s pieces are made by hand, mostly sourced from sustainable materials. And always using gold, silver, precious gems, and pearls. Since each element was created by nature, all she does is to follow its inherent design. She adds a few touches, but know never to compete with nature: every fragment is already telling a story long before she puts her hands on it. She seeks nature’s abstract imperfections, scattered precious objects, and put them together. KRONPRINSESSEGADE 25 1306 KØBENHAVN K T: +45 3391 5827 WWW.BERGSOE.DK 70
