獨立電影世界再也不一樣舉辦電影節的路難走，舉辦獨立電影節的路更難。自2003年起，我們只有兩個人成立一個小團體，嘗試透過自負盈虧的方式舉辦不同的活動，在在是一個又一個考驗。有不少人以為我們是一個富裕的團體，又或者誤以為舉辦這些活動可以獲得很可觀的收入，但是，這些年來，我們團體從沒有達到收支平衡；從前跟家人借來成立這團體的金錢，至今還是沒有償還。在沒有薪金的情況下，我們算是學習過著簡單的生活，那是在自己從前的工作裡，有著算是豐足又固定的收入時，所沒有體會和領悟過的。

關於 InDBear 國際電影節

曾經不只一次被問及，我們打算舉辦這些電影節多少年，我曾經不只一次說著這樣的話：「直到我去世吧！」這不是戲言，只是想告訴你，我們愛電影，相信只要世上仍然有人用心拍好電影，在我們有限的資源下，還是甘心樂意地，搜羅世界各地的精彩獨立電影，安排在我們三個國際電影節放映。當然，我們仍然相信，愛電影的你，同樣會甘心樂意地，購買戲票重回電影院裡欣賞好電影。今年，我們以一個「三合一」的概念，打造一個長達四個月的藍空間國際獨立電影節 ─ 除了6月中舉行的《第二屆InDBear國際電影節》，和8月初舉行的《第七屆InDPanda國際短片節》之外，我們把這兩個電影節的動畫節目，發展成為在9 月期間舉行的《第一屆InDPolar國際動畫節》。三個電影節不單止令到我們在選片上更為清晰，也讓我們可以選映更多更精彩的國際獨立製作。請不要再等待這些好電影出版光碟 ─ 事實上，有百分之九十曾經被我們選映的作品，至今也沒有出版過光碟，更別期望在盜版市場或非法網站找到。更重要的，這些電影，雖然是獨立製作，卻在各大國際影展中獲得表揚；這些以血汗錢製作自己心血結晶的導演們，期望你給予他們一點支持和一分尊重，更盼望你能夠在大銀幕裡欣賞他們的電影。從來，世界各地有不少以獨立電影為主角的電影節，在不同地方也建立了一定地位與水平的獨立電影市場，但是，在我們這個國際都市裡，獨立電影仍然沒有獲得平等的尊重。也許，推動獨立電影的路難行，但是，在世界各地的導演、團體、發行機構的支持下，我們會繼續堅持，繼續為推動獨立電影出一分力。期望你加入我們，成為觀眾、導演、義工、同行者、伙伴⋯⋯2011年，我們的獨立電影世界再也不一樣！

InDBear means “In-D-bear”. Same as InDPanda, InDBear brings creative, meaningful and interesting independent films to the Hong Kong audiences. The annual InDBear International Film Festival is the first international independent film festival in Hong Kong. It highlights feature films with different genres and topics from all over the world. It aims to make you fall in love with independent productions. Film is something important to our lives. FILM IS MEANINGFUL.

關於藍空間 About InD Blue 藍空間於2003年成立，為一個沒有資助的非牟利電影錄像團體，旨在透過放映、電影節、工作坊及發行等活動，推動獨立電影藝術。 InD Blue, found in 2003, is a non-funded and non-profit making film/video organisation. It aims to promote independent film/video arts through workshops, screenings, distribution and other activities. 發行及電影計劃

Distribution and Film Projects 發行作品超過150部短片和30部長片，作品來自香港、中國、日本、新加坡、台灣等地，當中不少作品曾經應邀參加世界各地的國際電影節。藍空間策劃及監製多個錄像計劃，邀請不同的導演參與，各自以有限的資源，以共同的主題拍攝短片，成為不同的Omnibus計劃，包括：《地上的彩虹 .1：雙同人間》(2005)、《一分鐘自是永恆》動畫計劃 (2006)及《拾年》錄像 InD Blue is now distributing over 150 shorts as well as 30 features from Hong Kong, China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and some other countries. Most of them were shown in different international film festivals. InD Blue curates and produces creative film & video projects. It invites filmmakers to join theme, within a limited budget. Those Omnibus projects include Here Comes the Rainbow .1: 2 of a Kind video project (2005); A Minute, an Eternity animation project (2006) and Decade video project (2007).

自2007年起，藍空間更統籌由康樂及文化事務署主辦的《兒童電影合家歡》的選片及提供節目介紹。藍空間於2005及2006年夏天，統籌由康樂及文化事務署主辦的《愛上錄像的少年》訓練計劃；並與Sony協辦錄像計劃活動，務求透過互動式的工作坊，培育新一代錄像創作人。另外，藍空間也有擔任中學的講員及協助策劃及教授創意計劃。2007年，曾協辦由灣仔區議會主辦的《青年人看回歸10週年》錄像訓練計劃；並與香港同志影展合辦《Love is Safe短片製作工作坊》。 Starting from 2007, InD Blue curates the programme and contributes the programme notes for the International Children’s Film Carnival, which is presented by the Leisure

About the director Fred M Caruso has been working professionally in the business for over 30 years. As an actor, he has worked all over 40 shows. When he was 14, he began producing theatre. At age 16, he opened the first Equity theatre company in Hollywood, FL making him the youngest producing artistic director in Equity’s history. The first show he produced in NYC was the OffBroadway production of BITTER AND JADED AT 25, which he wrote the book, music and lyrics and starred in as well. He then went on to produce and develop the Off-Broadway musical revue NEWSical. Fred started as a co-producer and AD on the feature film A FOUR LETTER WORD. He has produced WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. About the director

Diane Bell is a writer and director currently residing in Santa Monica, California. Originally from Scotland, she grew up in Japan, Australia and Germany. She later earned a Masters degree in Mental Philosophy from Edinburgh University. In 2006, she optioned her first solo effort screenplay, and relocated to Los Angeles from Barcelona, Spain. About the director HAN Yew Kwang, former sitcom writer, made his debut feature, UNARMED COMBAT in 2005. He followed that up with the quirky romantic comedy 18 GRAMS OF LOVE and the highly rated sitcom FOLKS JUMP OVER THE WALL. He then formed his own company 18g Pictures and came up with the independently funded anti-romance comedy WHEN HAINAN MEETS TEOCHEW and the romance drama LOVE IN A CAB. His latest film is PERFECT RIVALS, a comedy about two dueling shops selling barbecue pork. 2007年暑期，甘小二導演帶領一個獨立電影放映隊，用投影機和自製的銀幕，到河南鄉村教堂巡迴放映他的劇情長片《舉自塵土》，共放映8場，並對這個過程作了影像紀錄。這個80分鐘版本的《教堂電影院》只記錄了其中一站 ─《舉自塵土》拍攝外景地七里營教堂。

「小武不看《小武》，這意味這部名傳天下的影片沒有到達它真正想關心的人們那裡。有人說獨立電影自編、自導、自演、自看。我覺得還要加上自放。一個姊妹看了兩遍《舉自塵土》，她說，看第一遍時覺得不知所云；看第二遍有完全不同的感覺。她對我說：哪怕你的影片只有一個觀眾，神都會紀念你的勞苦。」─甘小二 In the summer of 2007, the filmmaker GAN Xiao’er lead a projection team, with projector and a self-made screen, touring around the churches of Henan, having 8 screenings of his feature film, RAISED FROM DUST. This 80 minute version of CHURCH CINEMA is the documentation of one of the spot – the church at which the film made. “Xiao Wu didn’t watch XIAO WU. It means this internationally renowned film didn’t really reach those people the filmmaker concerns. Some say independent films are the filmmakers who write the scripts, shoot the films, and then play a role and appreciate the final outcome. I suppose it should also include showing the film to audiences. A sister in Christ watched RAISED FROM DUST twice. She did not catch the film for the first time, but having a totally different feeling after watching the second time. Everyday, Xiao-li rehearses the Wedding March in the church, and there, a pair of Christians is celebrating their wedding that day. After the wedding, Xiao-li goes to the hospital as usual, but this time she is going to take her husband for home, giving up any treatments. The husband dies on the way; Xiao-li rides her three-heel cart home with his body. The husband is inhumed after a simple memorial ceremony. Xiao-li uses their sole money to pay the tuition fee for Sheng-yue. Xiao-li and her daughter, sing the thanksgiving song at the dinner table: “Thank you Jesus! 去年在「焦點導演」環節裡，放映《完全家族》的加映場次時，出現了技術問題，令到不少觀眾失望而回。這次，我們特別重映這部作品，期間限定，請珍惜映期。

Last year, due to the technical error during the additional screening of THE FAMILY COMPLETE, many audiences missed the chance to appreciate the film. We especially re-run this film again, with limited numbers of screenings.

去年香港國際電影節三場爆滿，今泉浩一大膽破格之作，大開觀眾眼界之餘，看得大家屏氣凝神目瞪口呆。

We can connect our bodies, but we cannot connect at the core of our hearts. Are we happy this way? Or are we lacking in something still?

我們可以肉身相交，卻連繫不上彼此的心 ⋯⋯那個，是快樂的事嗎？還是當中仍有所欠缺吧！戀愛和孤獨／謊言與真相／做愛跟暴力／血與淚／希望和絕望／嫉妒與不隨意／夜蟬跟藍煙／隔絕和融合／綠葉與天狗面具／可憐與憎惡／虎和龍⋯⋯ 在一所古舊的日本房子裡，時間仿似是停了下來，當中住著一個看似平常的家庭；家中有一樣不尋常的巨大黑貓。事實上，這個家庭頗為不尋常。從爺爺到爸爸媽媽到孫兒，他們看似年齡相若，仿似是兄弟，甚至是朋友。他們相互保守著一個黑暗的秘密。一天，他們之間那脆弱的平衡開始失衡。這一個悲喜劇，關於一個被新型病毒侵襲了的家族。以錯誤的溝通為主題，跟前作《初戀》截然不同，再次描述男同性戀者的性與愛。《完全家族》是一部日本式的色情家庭劇情作品。

From the grandpa to the mom and dad and to the grandsons, they all look alike in age, as if they were brothers, or even friends. They have a dark secret they try to desperately keep within themselves. At the expense of each one’s suffering. One day, this fragile equilibrium begins to erode. This is a tragicomedy of a family infected with new virus. Taking miscommunication as his theme, Koichi Imaizumi once again portrays gay men's love and sex, but with an entirely different approach than the one in his last film HATSU-KOI.
