關於InDPanda國際短片節 About InDPanda International Short Film Festival InDPanda即是“In-D-panda”，這一種「獨立熊貓」是獨立(independent)電影界的 罕有品種。相信大家也試過愛電影愛得看過不停，然後某朝早發現自己得到一雙「 熊貓眼」。對！一年一度的InDPanda國際短片節，就是要搜羅世界各地不同類型不 同題材的短片，令大家投入獨立電影的懷抱。黑白分明的熊貓帶領您回歸獨立創作 的基本步:就算是一個簡單的念頭，在有限的資源下，仍然可以發展成為出色的短片 及錄像。一切就是這麼簡單─SO BASIC！
InDPanda means “In-D-panda”. This kind of independent panda is a rare discovery of the independent scene. You may once got the “panda eyes” when you never stop watching the films you love overnight. The annual InDPanda International Short Film Festival highlights short films with different genres and topics from all over the world. It aims to make you back for love of independent films. The black and white colour of panda reminds you the basic concept of independent production. Just a simple idea, even without big budget, you can still make excellent short films. It’s SO BASIC.
關於藍空間 About InD Blue 藍空間於2003年成立，為一個沒有資助的非牟利電影錄像團體，旨在透過工作坊、 放映、電影節及發行等活動，推動獨立電影/錄像藝術。發行作品超過130部短片和 大約30部長片，作品來自香港、中國、日本、南韓、新加坡等地，當中不少作品曾經應 邀參展大小國際影展及電影節。 藍空間策劃及監製多個錄像計劃，邀請不同的導演參與，各自以有限的資源，以共 同的主題拍攝短片，成為不同的Omnibus計劃，包括：《地上的彩虹.1： 同人間》 (2005)、《一分鐘自是永恆》動畫計劃 (2006)及《拾年》錄像計劃 (2007)。 2005年7月，藍空間舉辦香港首個以國際短片為主題的電影節─ InDPanda國際 短片節，藉以令本地觀眾有機會觀賞不同國家的精彩短片創作，並促進國際電影錄 像團體及創作人之交流。過去四年來，我們放映了超過150場次，選映了來自約40個 國家及城市接近550部作品。歷年來，得到超過16,000人次觀眾的支持，讓這些短片 作品獲得一定程度的重視和肯定。 藍空間自2004起，先後舉辦了12個不同主題的小型影展或放映活動，包括：《太陽 無知》、《好迷你影展》、《禁不住的情人》、《我們的動畫時代─香港動畫短片 1990至2006》、《大土地下小故事》、《潁州的孩子》、《快樂王子的初戀》、《舉自 塵土》、《大阪怪奇歌》、《壹目拾韓(短片篇)》、《四夜奇情》和《明媚時光》，讓香 港觀眾有機會欣賞到本地及海外，不同題材不同類型的獨立製作。 自2007年起，藍空間更統籌由康樂及文化事務署主辦的《兒童電影合家歡》的選片 及提供節目介紹。 藍空間於2005及2006年夏天，統籌由康樂及文化事務署 主辦的《愛上錄像的少年》訓練計劃；並與Sony協辦錄 像計劃活動，務求透過互動式的工作坊，培育 新一代錄像創作人。 另外，藍空間也有擔任中學的講員及協助策劃 及教授創意計劃。2007年，曾協辦由灣仔區 議會主辦的《青年人看回歸10週年》錄像訓練 計劃；並與香港同志影展合辦 《Love is Safe短片製作工 作坊》。
InD Blue, found in 2003, is a non-funded and non-profit making film/ video organisation. It aims to promote independent film/video arts through workshops, screenings, distribution and other activities. It is now distributing over 130 shorts as well as around 30 features from Hong Kong, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and some other countries. Some of them were shown in different international film festivals. InD Blue curates and produces creative film & video projects. It invites filmmakers, join together to make short films with common theme, with a limited budget, Those Omnibus projects include Here Comes the Rainbow.1 : 2 of a Kind video project (2005), A Minute, an Eternity animation project (2006) and Decade video project (2007). In July 2005, InD Blue organized the InDPanda International Short Film Festival, which is the first international festival in Hong Kong, focusing on short films. It aims to encourage cultural exchanges among international film/video organisations and filmmakers. In the past 4 years, we had over 150 screenings, showing about 550 short films from around 40 countries and cities. More than 16, 000 attendees supporting the Festival throughout these 4 years, It proves the value of short films. Moreover, InD Blue organised 12 small film festivals or screening programmes since 2004, including And Also The Eclipse; 2 Gether Showcase; Forbidden Lovers; Our Years Of Animation: Hong Kong Animation Shorts from 1990 to 2006; Little Stories On Yellow Earth; The Blood Of Yingzhou District; First Love Of The Happy Prince; Raised From Dust; Osaka Weird Sonata; 10 Years Of Indiestory; 4 Nights Of Indiestory and Glamorous Youth. Starting from 2007, InD Blue curates the programme and contributes the programme notes for the International Children’s Film Carnival, which is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). InD Blue curated Youth in Love with Video Project, organized by LCSD in 2005 and 2006. InD Blue also co-presented video training workshops with Sony. It served as a breeding ground for the new talents of the next generation through interactive workshops. In addition, InD Blue conducted training activities in Secondary schools. In 2007, InD Blue coordinated the 10th Anniversary from the Eyes of Youth video production project, which was organized by the Wan Chai District Council. It also co-organised the Love is Safe Video Training Workshop, with the HKLGFF.

He studied photography, film directing and scriptwriting in different institutes from 1976 to 1989. He was an engineer at the Russian Space Research Institute from 1982 to 1986. Starting from 1995 he set up “virtual studio IVAN MAXIMOV” to work on films, videos and computer animations. He made over 20 short animations since 1989 until now, including the 1993 Berlinale Golden Bear winning work, Bolero. Time, space, physics, causal relationship are some common elements in his works. Most of his characters are children age 2 to 5 or different kinds of interesting animals which created a fantastic world. We bring you the most representative short animations of this Russian animator through these 20 years, including his latest work, The Additional Capabilities Of The Snout.

日本動畫經典30年 Japanese Anime Classic 30 Years 假若你由第一屆InDPanda開始認識我們，你必定記得 當年選映的「日本動畫先驅」節目，我們從某位日本電 影收藏家的珍藏中，找來了16部1920至1950年代的經 典動畫短片。但是，因為當中不乏古舊拷貝，所以，某 些作品失卻了原音聲帶，令到在觀賞時帶著一點遺憾 的感覺。 今年，我們有緣找來更多經典動畫短片，3大節目合共 55部作品多達320分鐘，當中而更包括很多罕有的作 品和不同的版本，讓我們可以在重溫這些日本動畫經 典作品之餘，對日本動畫歷史有更豐富的認識。當中 少部份作品因年代久遠，在畫面上有點殘舊，但是，所 有作品在聲音、配樂及旁白解說上，也經過數碼重新 處理，是次放映更特別配上中文字幕，讓大家看得更 投入。 If you are our good old friends since the 1st InDPanda, you should remember the “Pioneers of Japanese Animation” programmes that year. We showcased 16 classic short animations produced from 1920s to 1950s, from a Japanese film collector. Since those were the old prints, some of them lost the soundtrack, which made the screenings not so perfect. This year, we got a chance to brought you 3 programmes including 55 Japanese classic short animations with the total running time of 320 minutes. Most of them are rarely seen productions or alternative versions. It is a good chance for us to know something more about the Japanese animation history through these classic productions. Although few of them are very early productions, the images are not very good, the sound, music and even the benshi narration are digitally-remastered. We especially bring you the Chinese subtitled version. We hope you will be more enjoyable to classic animations.

一部部陌生的動畫作品，一個個看似陌生的名字，他們 是日本動畫的先驅者。從上世紀二十年代開始，對於 「動畫」這個在當時 仍是嶄新媒體所作出的種種 探 討，不論於取材上、技術上和表現形式上，這些動畫家 都各自提供了不同程度的貢獻。可以大膽地說，沒有這 些作品，我們可能見不到高 勳、大友克洋甚至宮崎駿 的出現！現在就是一覽這些先驅日本動畫作品的難得 機會。 ─盧子英(資深動畫製作人) All these unfamiliar animations and animators are the pioneers of Japanese animation. Starting from the 20s of the last century, when animation was still a brand new media, these animators tried to explore the topics, skills and format of expression of animation. They, in different degrees, have contribution in the development of animation. Without these works, you may not even have chance to appreciate the works of Isao Takahata, Katsuhiro Otomo and Hayao Miyazaki.
