SV was founded in Denmark in 1976 and formed by the amalgamation of ten independent hauliers. Today the company is present in more than 60 countries, with an international network of partners and agents that extends the company’s global reach to over 110 countries worldwide. The company has grown consistently over the years via acquisitions, mergers and organic growth to become one of the world’s largest logistics companies, employing over 21,000 people and with sales in 2010 of more than €5.7 billion. DSV is also listed on the NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen and included in the OMXC20 Index as one of the 20 most actively traded shares.
