Wedding professionals gathered at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess to celebrate the release of Arizona Bride ’s Spring/Summer ‘24 issue. With luxe details and unmatched desert ambience, the iconic Scottsdale hotel was the perfect locale for the party. Le Beige Beauty offered their talents to ensure the Arizona Bride team was picture-perfect for the night of festivities. Publisher Brittany O’Neill and editor-in-chief Chelsea Gibson welcomed guests as they entered the space, complete with lit fireplaces and, of course, the newest issue of the magazine. Guests mixed and mingled as they noshed on small bites from the hotel. Olivia Simon of Liv + Remember Creative Company documented the evening, beautifully capturing new faces and recognizing familiar ones. CEO and owner Sonja Babich gave a speech before Brittany and Chelsea added their remarks about the 2024 issue. The rest of the evening was spent flipping through the stunning new issue with drinks, the warmth of the fireplaces and the wonderful energy the Arizona wedding community embodies.

Immerse yourself in an authentic Italian vision in the heart of Arizona envisioned by Cedar & Sage Weddings. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Italy’s Lake Como and the Tuscan countryside, this romantic and rustic scape embodies the destination’s dreamy, scenic landscape. With an air similar to that of an intimate dinner party, white place settings played off of natural wood chairs and incorporated tapered candles, crystal glassware and a refined floral theme. Fruit groupings of grapes, kiwis, pears and oranges dotted the tables, embodying a color palette of maroon, white, peach and orange. Patterned table linens added a sense of sophistication and rounded out the theme. A true treasure, the four-tiered cake shined with billowy silk ribbons and delicately placed blooms.

Intentional touches can completely transform the look and feel of your wedding day, as seen in an elegant scheme dreamed up by Morgan Heywood, owner and lead planner of Let’s Talk Eventz, at Blackstone Country Club in Peoria. “The goal of this styled shoot was elegance and uniqueness, while also focusing on current color trends,” she noted, which she envisioned coming to life through florals in a mix of lavender, light blue and white. Single-stemmed roses lined the aisle, making for a striking entrance; a towering alter installation provided a beautiful focal point to wed, and low arrangements adorned the reception table. Clean and classy vibes were abundant with crisp table settings and the real-life couple’s fashion: her, a classic ball gown and him, a traditional tuxedo with a white jacket. A talented team channeled springtime to curate each element of this ethereal, alfresco event. Artful stationery in hues of lavender with whimsical flower illustrations set the tone. Entering the space, guests spied the planter box brimming with fresh blooms in peach, purple, yellow and pink tones, accented with sprigs of greenery to mirror the woodland venue. Rustic benches faced a minimally adorned altar with asymmetric structures sporting the event’s signature blooms, bringing texture and modernity to the ceremony. Our bride donned a slip-inspired gown with billowed, tulle sleeves: the ultimate cool-girl aesthetic. Her girls followed in a smattering of pastel frocks in differing colors, fabrics, tones and silhouettes to showcase their individualism.
Post-vow revelry kicked off with a bevy of refreshing drinks and passed appetizers served to loved ones. A selection of single-stem arrangements in striking seasonal colors found themselves on every surface, from bar tops to cocktail tables to dining tables and even the lawn. Wax candles in shades of pink and floating votives made an intimate atmosphere for dining under the stars and string lights. The sweetheart table featured a cascading bouquet of winding vines and flora, giving it an extra natural touch. After the feast, attendees quickly downed their drinks to take full advantage of the newlyweds’ final treat: a fanciful extended centerpiece cake with fresh berries, ready to be enjoyed by cutting out a piece with their wine glasses.

Inspired by their love of vintage and the outdoors, this couple’s October wedding took place at Desert View Weddings in Apache Junction— a picturesque venue with natural beauty and cacti as far as the eye can see. “For many years now in the industry, we’ve been receiving more and more brides wanting ‘soft glam,’” says Nataliya Kovchan, owner of Le Beige Beauty. This approach focuses on enhancing a bride’s natural features, not making them into someone else. Here, a nude-pink blush and lip lend a fresh feel, while natural brows and a few false lashes finish the look. A trending center-part French twist with face framing is classic and modern at once.

Our style of documenting weddings would be categorized as Lifestyle Cinema. We strive to capture authentic moments without much directing. You won’t have to worry about acting or posing towards the camera but simply enjoying your wedding day and living in the moment.
We film our couples in real life situations and capture the milestones in an artistic manner. Our cinematic side comes from how we approach the day as we want you to feel like you are watching a Hollywood movie of your wedding. We accomplish this by using Hollywoodapproved cameras, using the same filming and editing techniques they use to produce romantic feature films. In the end, we want to create a visual masterpiece of a wedding film that will be timeless. You can walk down the aisle and think of nothing but the life waiting for you at the other end.

For high school sweethearts Harley Ewell and Jason Jenkins, three and a half years of dating led up to a scenic horseback ride in Prescott— and a proposal. Fast forward five months: The couple wed in Gilbert with a soirée that was a little bit old school and a little bit Western. The bridesmaids donned yellow dresses recalling the iconic “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” stunner. For their bouquets, the ladies gathered flowers the day before the wedding to craft their own posies of chamomile, roses and eucalyptus with stems from Trader Joe’s. Other memorable moments of the day were the couple feeding each other donuts in lieu of cake, and the bride gifting her groom a collection of letters to her future husband that she composed since they met in high school. —Chelsea Gibson

MaryKate Schmidt and John Huguelet have known each other for years, initially meeting at a family communion party when they were 8, followed by dating through college and experiencing many adventurous travels together. Although they briefly parted ways, they eventually reunited and rekindled their romance. The couple’s wedding took place at the Omni Montelucia Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, which boasts an exquisite backdrop of mountains, water fountains, palm trees and resort pools. The couple drew from their love of classic, modern and elegant styles for inspiration, while incorporating neutral tones mixed with pops of black. The overall ambiance exuded timeless sophistication and charm with all-white floral décor, cake and bridesmaids’ dresses—a marvelous monochromatic moment. An influencer and fitness guru, MaryKate wore a form-fitting gown with sheer sleeves by Berta, and John donned a classic black tuxedo. The reception was decorated with a white floral backdrop, and tables held romantic candles and flower arrangements. Priscilla Nguyen and Tony O’Halleran celebrated their wedding against the natural wonders and beauty of the Arizona desert. Taking place at The Paseo, at the foot of the Superstition Mountains, their color palette of vibrant, bright fiery reds, soft pinks and warm oranges complemented the venue’s stark beauty. The lively colors were intentional, adding a fun and sophisticated twist to the elegant festivities. The couple’s love of the desert, along with their culture, were pivotal in the wedding design. With meticulous and careful planning, every element of the wedding was thoughtfully considered, incorporating aspects of the bride and groom’s taste and showcasing their unique style and character. A standout feature of the wedding included a Patron bottle escort display coinciding with the couple’s fun-loving and quirky personalities and prepared attendees for a party-filled, vivacious night. Other special and defining elements incorporated into the celebration included a photo booth, live painter and a talented musical quartet.

Emily Fann and Matt Hirshberg held their wedding at the beautiful Enchantment Resort, where luxury meets nature. The couple strategically chose the venue due to its scenic backdrop and ability to accommodate activities for their guests: hiking, lounging in the cozy café, or indulging in the relaxing on-site spa. The couple even designed custom hats for their guests to wear throughout their wedding weekend adding a festive and memorable element to their celebration. Friends since childhood, Emily and Matt tied the knot in a classic black-tie affair complete with a beautifully decorated chuppah as well as an elaborate mix of table designs with white and green floral accents including hydrangeas, ranunculus, spray roses and calla lilies. Dressed in Vera Wang, Emily wowed her guests in her gorgeous gown while Matt looked equally stunning in Tom Ford. The reception was exceptionally accented with candelabras, beautiful glassware, cutlery, gold hurricane candle holders, and a custom candle wall by William McArdle of Avant-Garde Floral Studio. Rabbi Kahn, who performed their bar and bat mitzvahs, had the privilege of marrying Emily and Matt. Other Jewish traditions included honoring Emily’s late grandfather during the ceremony by performing their vows beneath the chuppah draped with his tallit. —Jenny Castro

Something must have clicked when Taylor Richards interviewed for a job in Baltimore. As part of her interview process, Taylor spent a few days shadowing Joe DeBernardis, followed by a round of beers on her last day there. It marked the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Having attended many multiple-day celebrations themselves, the couple knew they wanted a destination wedding to maximize time and memories with their closest family members and friends. And Scottsdale was the spot to do just that. “We love Scottsdale because of the scenery, but also because there is something for everyone,” they recall. Sanctuary Camelback Mountain was the perfect setting for the “elegant rager with a touch of desert” they envisioned. Details included custom cocktails with their beloved dog Kody, and florals galore incorporating greenery, bleached ruscus and blooms in shades of toffee, blush and white. “I wanted the day to be aesthetically beautiful but overall an absolute blast,” Taylor says. “We wanted everyone to always have a drink in hand, with great music playing, having so much fun and feeling the love.” —Chelsea Gibson

A buzzing medical staffing office in Omaha set the scene for Maggie Hammer and Jake Goltl to fall in love. It was 2017, and Jake, the charming intern, couldn’t help but notice Maggie, a spirited nurse recruiter who was just as taken with him. Their romance was a slow burn, “given we worked in the same place, we needed to take things slow and see if our feelings were real,” as Maggie recalls, “but after a few months of dating, we knew it was a forever thing.” When it came time to plan their wedding, the bride knew what she was after: “Black and white, timeless, classy, moody and beautiful.” Their outfit selections echoed this sentiment: Maggie in a breathtakingly simple yet elegant gown and Jake in a sharp tuxedo, both exuding classic charm with a modern twist. Wedding guests gathered on a crisp autumn day. “November is one of the best times of the year in Arizona, so the weather was perfect for this all-outdoor occasion,” shares their planning team. The ceremony unfolded on the lush lawn framed by an arch of white florals. Following heartfelt vows, the celebration shifted to a lively cocktail hour, complete with an adorable beer burro, leading into an alfresco dinner ensconced in candlelight. The night progressed with hours of lively dancing facilitated by their incredible DJ. Aditi Chandra and Michal Sokolowski celebrated their nuptials with two festive events, a Hindu ceremony followed by a traditional Americanstyle celebration. It was important to the couple to honor both her Hindu Indian culture and his Polish Catholic roots by having both a traditional Mehndi/Sangeet night and incorporating a Catholic-inspired ceremony and Polish hors d’oeuvres at the cocktail hour. The Indian components were meant to be full of color and symbolism, while the Western events were designed to meet more of the couple’s personal style. For the Hindu ceremony, rich pink tones permeated the day, and the bride wore a traditional saree in colorful orange and gold. She accessorized her look with coordinating bracelets and henna decorating her hands and arms. The bridesmaids also embraced Hindu tradition and rocked neutral golden sarees to match their bride. For the outdoor Hindu ceremony, a statement floral arch was adorned with multi-colored flowers and round crystal chandeliers infusing glamour and sophistication to the occasion, while customary orange floral garlands lined the aisle in a swirl pattern and cascaded from pots at the ceremony entrance. For the American celebration, the bride wore a flowing floor-length gown, while her bridesmaids donned green numbers. Abundant white rose petals defined the aisle, leading up to extravagant monochromatic white arrangements of roses and orchids in crystal vases. The white and green motif carried through to the reception and even the cake—a lovely four-tiered stunner with gold edges. —Jenny Castro

With specialized and unique elements, Emily Dachman and Nick Munn’s wedding celebration was a display of their authenticity and love for each other. The couple met during a cabin weekend with friends in Flagstaff, and later, a trip to Sedona confirmed their interest in each other. In finding their ideal venue at Troon North Golf Course, the couple instilled intentional details against the desert setting and incorporated customized elements into their celebration. For the ceremony, a round arch featuring white florals was displayed, providing a beautiful backdrop. From their sweet flower girl to their charming ring bearer clutching a ring security box, other special components included a custom ice luge serving up espresso martinis and a personalized seating chart featuring images of their wedding guests. Emily chose an off-the-shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline and carried a white floral bouquet, a striking contrast to her bridesmaids in black gowns. The black-and-white theme played out in reception tables adorned with candles and elaborate white florals for centerpieces. A nod to the couple’s Jewish culture was also present throughout the wedding, through the crushing of the glass at the end of the ceremony and lively dancing during the reception. —Jenny Castro
