Rotary Shoebox Appeal Thanks to a tremendous effort by schools, clubs and members of the Island Community the Island Rotary Clubs collected 2,438 shoeboxes together with an assortment of warm clothing which has all been loaded onto a lorry kindly provided by Steve Porter Transport and delivered to the mainland. From there the shoeboxes will be transported to Moldova to reach Rotary Clubs there for distribution to children in Moldavan communities in time for Christmas.
