The Restaurant Mahana’i offers a selection of outstanding dishes featuring fresh local produce and straight-from-the-ocean seafood a mix that creates mouthwatering delights. An extensive a la carte menu ranges from burgers and pizzas to a sophisticated selection of excellent main dishes. The pastry chef takes great pride in his waistline-destroying desserts so be warned! The Mahana’i is open for breakfast (an especially enjoyable start to the day) and dinner. The Matiehani Lounge situated on the beachfront is the perfect location for private events, dinner and cocktails.
The Miti Bar and Terrace is a poolside bar and casual restaurant offering yet more yummy eats. Open from 9.00 am until 10.00 pm the Miti Bar and Terrace offers a wide range of meals and snack options to suit all tastes, along with a range of drinks including great cocktails. Catering for all ages (there are plenty of children's snacks and meals too), the Miti is perfectly positioned for long days spent swimming in the pool or lounging in the sun! For grownups, the Delight of Moorea or Mai Tai Polynesia Cocktails come highly recommended one problem though - they are highly addictive!

A major, and especially important activity is to be part of the resort's programme to preserve coral reefs in the vicinity of the resort.
Since 2006 the resort has been involved in an ecological program to turn this situation around. Part of the solution to save the coral reef is to transplant coral cuttings into threatened areas of the reef. Once those little coral fragments grow, they will help recreate the reef environment and aquatic life will be able to return and strengthen the new reef.
Coral reefs are in great danger as climate change and pollution take their toll on the wonderful gardens of the sea.
Visitors can be involved in the preservation of the reef by taking part in the grafting process by way of a workshop and snorkelling tour of the coral nursery that is informative, ecovaluable and fun.
Sadly, it is estimated that 30 to 40% of the ocean’s coral reefs have disappeared or are in considerable decline.
