It’s understandable, given the flawless white sand beaches, clear blue waters and laid back vibe that an island experience delivers. But you still have to get there! An extensive network of ferries run out of Port Denarau, but the extra hours associated with a sea transfer can take a big chunk out of your day. Especially when your international flight times don’t match up with the ferry schedule. The other, easier, much quicker transfer option is to fly to paradise with a company like Pacific Island Air by either seaplane or helicopter.

After landing at Nadi International and passing customs, it's an easy 2-minute stroll across to the Domestic Terminal. And then a quick check-in for a flight departing 30 minutes later. No mucking around. No bored, irritable kids! Taking off in a seaplane from the tarmac seems a bit odd at first, but once you’re in the air, the wheels come up and away you go. Everyone gets a window seat and an amazing bird's eye view of the clear blue water, scattered reefs and the various islands dotted around. Although you're getting from A to B, it's really a superb scenic flight. And just 20-minutes later you’re touching down on smooth water directly in front of your resort. The door opens, your feet hit the sand and your dream holiday begins. That's bliss!

Step on-board Fiji's ultimate transfer machine. Pacific Island Air is proud to operate the Eurocopter EC130. This high-performance machine has been specifically designed specifically for touring, with a strong emphasis on passenger comfort and large windows that provide fantastic all-around viewing. They are also the only fully-air conditioned helicopters flying in Fiji, which means you'll be comfortable on even the hottest tropical days. Pacific Island Air currently have one EC130 with another one scheduled to be delivered in time for peak season. These two luxury machines will be operate permanently in Fiji.
Fiji Flight Options Seaplane Transfer Service Reservations open from 20th June 2022 Minimum 4 seats or charter rate. Flights depart directly from Nadi airports domestic terminal, just a 2-minute walk from international arrivals where you will be met by friendly staff and escorted to the domestic check-in counter. Domestic Flights in Fiji co-ordinate where possible with international arrivals and departure times so you can maximise your time at the resort. Allow 1 hour for customs and immigration clearance on arrival. All window seats, each has a set of headphones that allow the pilot to talk to you Charter flight options to all other destinations around Fiji including -Savu Savu, Suva, Pacific Harbour, Taveuni and even flights to the outer islands in the Lau Group.
