EXPLORE THE FIJI THAT FEW GET TO SEE.

Getting away from it all with Blue Lagoon Cruises. In our experience, there are two types of South Pacific traveller. The fly-and-flop, get to the resort and never leave type of visitor. They want to kick back, relax and enjoy a stress-free holiday. Then there are visitors who like to get out and about. The kind of people who want to see new places, meet new people and create the kind of memories that last a lifetime. Blue Lagoon Cruises cater to both types of traveller.

Passengers can simply step onboard their small ship, unpack once and Blue Lagoon Cruises will take them on a journey through pure Fijian paradise, cruising the picturepostcard Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands many of which are untouched by human hands. There are a variety of itineraries to choose from, each one limited to 4 hours of cruising per day, so passengers can spend more time seeing, doing and experiencing the parts of Fiji that very few people get to see!

A history that dates back over 70 years. In 2020, Blue Lagoon celebrated 70 years of cruising the Yasawa Islands. Although their vessels are a lot different from what they used to be - the original idea of taking guests to the most beautiful places in Fiji remains exactly the same. Today, under the management of South Seas Cruises, Blue Lagoon Cruises continues its legacy as Fiji's small ship cruising expert.

Colourful coral, magical caves, manta rays, remote beaches. Welcome to the Yasawa Islands. To the north of the Mamanuca Group you’ll find the remote, but equally beautiful Yasawa Islands. In the Yasawas, land-based tourism didn’t kick off until 1987. For many visitors, this late development has been a blessing, as it’s helped the islands maintain a genuine authenticity and an atmosphere of pure escape. If your idea of travel involves getting away from the mainstream, this is a place to do it. Here, local people still lead a very simple life in small remote villages, adhering to traditional customs and doing what they have done for generations. There are no roads, no shops and no banks. The Yasawa Islands group is the playground for Awesome Adventures Fiji. The Yasawa Flyer makes its way from Port Denarau to the top of the Yasawas and back once a day with a variety of passes and package options available.

When your book your clients with Awesome Adventures flexibility is the first priority. The BULA PASS allows travellers to hop on and hop off the Yawasa Flyer when they choose - for a period of 5-15 days. The AWESOME PASS goes a step further adding in pre-booked accommodation options that can be picked from a variety of affordable resorts - for a period of 5-15 days. There are also PACKAGE OPTIONS that include coach and vessel transfers, accommodation (as per each itinerary) and a whole bunch of activities - like swimming with manta rays, visiting the Sawa-I-Lau Caves and getting a traditional Fijian cooking lesson!

MANTA RAY MAGIC The Yasawa Islands are home to “Manta Ray Channel” – a nutrient-rich stretch of water that attracts manta rays between May and October each year. Several resorts run guided tours. Spotters will keep a look for the manta rays, and with the safety briefing done, guides will dive into the clear blue waters, and lead you in the right direction. In a word, the experience is magical. These gentle giants are driven along by wide fins that look more like wings. Being in the water as they slowly “fly” over, under and around you is an experience you’ll never forget. SAWA-I-LAU CAVES

YASAWA ISLAND RAY EXPERIENCE

SAWA-I-LAU CAVES

The breathtaking Sawa-I-Lau Caves are a Yawasa must-do. These limestone formations have been slowly carved out over thousands of years of wave action and are hidden away inside a little entry. When you’re swimming in the water looking up as the sun rays peek through, the feeling is very cathedral-like – it’s a view few visitors will forget. Several resorts offer this guided tour. Hollywood producers considered these caves the perfect spot to film Brooke Shield’s famous rock scene in the 1980s romantic film, The Blue Lagoon, just as you will deem the Yasawas the perfect place for your remote island holiday.

AWESOME ADVENTURES PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Soft adventure product for clients that wish to island-hop around the Yasawa Islands on our Yasawa Flyer cat - that travels to the top of the Yasawas and back to Port Denarau daily. ·Choose from Hop on Hop Off travel passes or pre-set packages using a key selection of resorts (all are min 3-star properties) Accommodation room types to suit all budgets (from small dorms through to Beachfront Bures) Not escorted tours – your clients do their own thing but we make it easy by packaging all the components (land and boat transfers, accommodation and activities at each resort) ·5 key package itineraries ranging from 4 Days / 3 Nights to 12 Days / 11 Nights

A SPECIAL PLACE FOR A SPECIAL DAY The perfect place to lose yourself in love. When Fiji’s tourism industry took its first steps in the early 1960s, the islands in the Mamanuca Group were among the first locations to be developed. Nearly sixty years on, this stunning group of islands remain a jewel in Fiji’s travel crown. They also remain one of Fiji’s favourite “go-to” spots for weddings, honeymoons and romantic getaways.

Their sheer beauty provides an undeniable allure. Small green dots scattered across the bluest ocean. White sand beaches, palm trees swaying in the wind. It’s your classic picture postcard, and quite honestly, it’s about as romantic as you could wish for. For couples in search of this dream, Malamala Beach Club is one place that can make it come true.

MALAMALA BEACH CLUB

THE OTHER SIDE OF MALAMALA BEACH CLUB Malamala Beach Club is well known for its buzzing island vibe, but it's also a wonderful spot to celebrate life's intimate moments. You could say that 'Malamala' provides couples with a blank canvas to create a most memorable wedding, anniversary celebration, renewal of vows, proposal or elopement. You can even have the entire island to yourself if you so desire.
